Five Guys Burgers and Fries

Pretty good burger for the price, unlimited free toppings, unlimited fountain soda, complimentary peanuts, reasonable wait time, clean bathroom, very generous fries servings. These are the pluses. Now onto need some improvements: my burger was pretty sloppy, one of the toppings I asked for was missing (quick walk to the counter and it was taken care off), while I am annoyed by too much of the «customer service ass kissing» this place has non of customer service at all. At the end $ 24 buys you 1 burger & 1 cheeseburger, 1 regular fries, 1 regular unlimited soda. Will definitely be back

The wait for our food wasn’t that long, but the wait to order was quite annoying because they just seemed disorganized. I’m guessing they were switching shifts, but were unsure who was going to be on the register? Anyways…
Must get 5 Guys Cajun Fries!!! and also I found out that you can go bun-​less and have a lettuce wrap instead! Delicious but messy.

Its not that I don’t like Five Guys Burger, but their burgers are just too ordinary. Little bacon cheeseburger was good, there’s more vegetable on it than the usual so a No for that. But the cheeseburger is different, so lovely, so tasty. Together with the fries, the combo would be delightful.

Now that I work in midtown and not in FiDi anymore, I was looking for a good burger place besides McDonald’s because we all know how their burgers are (mediocre at best, but does the job) so I searched burgers on Unilocal and to my surprise Five Guys popped up!
Checked the location and it was only a few blocks so I had to make a stop here. I’ve been here a total of 3 times now whenever I crave a burger and they never disappoint. Their fries are always over flowing (they add an extra scoop to your bag in addition to your cup of fries!) and their burgers are always good. I got the «little» burger the last time I went because two patties were too much for me. Overall, service is great, food is great and there’s always searing available which is hard to find around Rockefeller Center.

Good food bit pricy… Grilled cheese and hotdog with a small soda will run you about $ 16 …

I haven’t been to this location, but Five Guys Burgers and Fries, has excellent food. They don’t have chicken tenders, they don’t have salads, they have Burgers and Fries, because that is what they do well. very well. They have hand cut fries, and they give you very generous portions. It’s a very good value, I would recommend it’s very good!!!

Don’t eat here unless you want a tummy ache and diarrhea!!!
I love Five Guys. I frequent many of their locations in the city. I’ve eaten at this particular location on two separate occasions and and on both occasions, I’ve ended up with a tummy ache.
The first time it happened, I thought it was coincidence, thinking that it was due to something I’d eaten earlier in the day or something totally unrelated.
Well I went there today. I ordered a small cheese burger with the usual toppings (lettuce, pickles and mustard) and a side of fries. No sooner had I eaten the food, I started experiencing this sharp pain in my stomach. I began to feel the need to use the bathroom, so I rushed home.
After hours of diarrhea and a few spoonfuls of Pepto Bismol, I’ve decided never to return to this Five Guys. In fact, I’m even considering stopping to eat at Five Guys all together.
Stay away!!! unless you do not value your stomach!!!

Ótimo lugar para comer um hambúrguer bem americano. Você sai de lá com muito cheiro de fritura, mas os preços são ok, o sabor maravilhoso e qualquer ingrediente adicional dentro do sanduíche é de graça. Tem muuuuuitos sabores diferentes de refrigerante para escolher, com refil grátis. Não dá pra reclamar do atendimento, porque a agilidade e a despersonalização do cliente são marcas registradas do fast food em qualquer lugar.

Hell yeah it’s expensive but if you go to the right location at the right time you will totally forget how much one burger cost (don’t forget any toppings added to your burger is free)
I’ve been to the one on 343 7^th Avenue in New York and I had the worst experience there. And because of that bad experience I refused to give Five Guys another chance until I came across this location and I must admit, my experience at this location was A-​Okay! The place was clean (bathroom needed to be checked on) but the late night crew members where fast with their hands and friendly. Their motto was to get every single customer out the store before it got packed. And my Cajun fries were hot and fresh ! Thank-​you guys

Is it me or did they start to skimp on the meat? The last two times I got double cheeseburger here, it seemed small, both times, I wondered if perhaps, by mistake, there was only one patty, but no, there were two patties, so think, though, they were equal to probably 60% of the patty at Burger Fi, another franchise I love going to. I swallowed my burger in three bites, ridiculous, this used to be a monster of a burger. They also started skimping on the fries, before, the little size was big enough to feed me and share with 1 – 2 co-​workers, now, I gobbled them all myself and was still kind of hungry afterwards.

My burger was really sloppy. Looks like no care in assembling it. The staff acted like they are upset to have the work day interrupted by customers.
I love Five Guys. This location is an embarrassment to the brand.

Honestly, who the f* is Shake Shack? Long lines, crowded spaces and, well, …burgers, which have been very much hyped. The burgers and fries here are much more honest! No lines, simple furnishing, great food.
The burgers are wrapped in aluminum foil, the fries portions are huge (you can always find some extra ones in the bag). While you wait you can have some peanuts. The wait shouldn’t be that long… In the end you get a burger made of organic beef with any toppings of your choice. Mushrooms, onions, mustard, pickles etc can be added on your burger free of charge. It’s a great deal and a great taste experience!

Great tasting burgers at fast service and good prices. The sizes a little too big for my taste. Also, there is free nuts.

Five Guys is Five Guys no matter where you have it.
I was wandering around with the intention of going to Burger Joint at Le Parker Meridien, but apparently it was a Valentine’s Day hotspot because the line in the lobby was insane. I saw there was a five guys nearby so settled on that as I hadn’t had it in ages. No line, service was quick and the burger hit the spot. I’m glad they have the little size fry now, it’s pretty much sufficient for any normal human being, anything bigger will feed a small to large army.
I’m still more partial to shake shack for my calorie bombs, but sometimes those fries call your name.
Overall, a clean and efficient outpost.

I have to rate at least one of these unholy outposts for burger satan himself.
It’s not that it’s bad. The burger is a decent size and the price is right. I have to give this place props for consistently keeping their prices reasonable. They offer a fairly basic selection of burgers, cheeseburgers, hotdogs, and some sandwich options. Toppings are included so just lay them on. While waiting for your burger, help yourself to some peanuts. I don’t know why you would want to eat these peanuts that are lying around randomly, but go for it if you’re so hungry you can’t wait even 10 minutes for your burger to come out. Go ahead, I won’t judge (out loud). A normal order of fries is large enough to serve a family of 10 and all immediate cousins. If anything, this place will completely fill every inch of your stomach and then push uncomfortably into your esophagus, all for a decent price.
It’s just that none of this food is good in any way, shape or form. No, not at all. It’s a passable burger but the meat is never cooked the way you want it. The fries are so plentiful cause they suck. Big cut, oily, wilted, and all other adjectives you wouldn’t want your fries described as. At least they aren’t frozen.
As any kind of normal, health conscious person I say just don’t come here. If you’re going to add to your caloric intake, at least make sure it tastes good.

3.5. Considered a round down for the line assembly peeps not putting bacon on my bacon cheeseburger… then simply gave thanks for the loss of the calories I didn’t need anyway… and because the burger ain’t done did suffered nothing from the lack of oink oink.
Very solid, machine-​like staff (said in the best possible way). Place kept clean during mad rush hours. Same excellent product as you’d expect from Five Guys. And not bad turn around time for the order.

Creo que el día que fui por primera vez a Five Guys me cambió la vida ¿por? son las mejores hamburguesas de la galaxia. No se puede creer que en este planeta haya un sitio que haga tan ricas hamburguesas. Recuerdo que esa tarde en New York pedí una doble con cheese & bacon y después ya nada pudo ser igual.
Debo admitir que no son las más económicas del mercado, pero sea como sea es obvio que valen la pena porque son lo máximo, como también lo son las papas fritas. Como en la mayoría de los locales de comidas rápidas en NY, la gaseosa tiene recarga gratis. También vale aclarar que se le puede agregar a la hamburguesa distintas ingredientes sin cargo como lechuga, tomate, cebolla, etc.

Mediocre burgers. I am partial to the juicy goodness that is Shake Shack. Five guys burgers doesn’t even compare. The bun is flat and flavorless, like the cheapo store bought ones. The burger itself could have been made in any deli or bodega.
The standout, however, are the fries. Generously cut and salted, they beat Shake Shack fries by a mile.
Will probably not come back as there are too many options in the city to settle for a mediocre burger.

I am not going to go through all the background on Five Guys — you should know the routine by now: fresh burgers, of the 4 – 5 ounce variety and freshly cut fires from potatoes that arrived that day from some random farm in Idaho.
I got a little cheeseburger (one patty) and a little order of fries. The counter staff was cheerful and efficient, blasting through the throng of lunch orders quite quickly. My food was ready in no time, much faster than other locations, however the end product was still very good. The seating area is limited at this location, so don’t come here with 10 of your work buddies expecting to all sit together and complain about your boss. That said, I was able to get a seat as I think most people take their greasy slice of heaven back to their desks and eat.

Burger sahen gut aus und haben wohl auch gut geschmeckt. Erdnüsse gratis.
Getränkeauswahl riesig, da Selbstbedienung und zahlreiche Konzentrate verfügbar.

Man has this place gone downhill. I remember going to this place back in the day when the only location nearby was Bay Ridge.
Now it’s just a crappy burger they serve with some greasy fries. I had a bacon cheeseburger with BBQ sauce but the bacon tasted like it was microwaved. Gross.
I would say its a step up from Burger King, but a step BELOW Mcdonald’s and Wendy’s.

Ich habe keine Lust, immer nur über die massiven Belästigungen durch Fluglärm zu schreiben. Es muss auch ab und an mal etwas belangloses her, wie der nachfolgende Beitrag über die FIVE GUYS.
Ursprünglich waren es 4 Guys und ihr Vater, bis der 5. Guy nachzügelte und den Vater ablöste.
TK + Convienience Burger hingen den Jungs zum Hals heraus, so schmolzen sie ihre Waffen zu Bratpfannen ein und zogen in den Kampf for a Better-Burger.Die Burger die, die FIVE GUYS abliefern haben mit den Burger der großen Fast Food Ketten, kaum etwas gemeinsam. Weder von der Qualität der Zutaten, der Zubereitung aber auch nicht vom Preis.
Wenn ich mich recht erinnere kostet ein einfacher Burger (halbe Fleischmenge) 6 $ und ein normaler 8 $.Besonderheit bei den FIVE GUYS ist dass alle zusätzlichen Beläge zum Burger (Bacon, Tomate, Pickels, Salat, Käse,) nicht extra berechnet werden.
FIVE GUYS servieren angeblich nach Shake Snack (
) den zweitbesten Better-​Burger-​Kette in NCY.
Die Fries werden bei den FIVE GUYS frisch aus Kartoffeln eines regionalen Lieferanten geschnitzt und in hochwertigem Erdnussöl ausgebacken. Solange man auf Burger und Fries wartet, kann man Erdnüsse essen soviel man möchte.

Bein oui, imaginez vous un peu créer le burger de vos rêves, avec tous les «toppings» que vous voulez ! Miiiiam !
En plus c’est pas cher.
En plus c’est en plein centre (idéal pour le fameux petit creux après le shopping).
En plus ils ont le sourire (même avec des français qui comprennent pas tout).
En plus c’est des larges portions (un paquet de frites pour deux, c’est suffisant !).
En plus (et surtout), c’est bon !

Bin extra hingelaufen um einen Burger zu essen. Was soll ich sagen, einfach ein bodenstäntiger Burger, bei dem man den Belag selbst bestimmen kann. Und Pommes gibts reichlich. Ich würde wieder hin gehen.

Meilleur burger jamais mangé dans un fast food! Les frites sont bonnes, faites maison et pas spécialement grasses. On a le droit à des cacahuètes et boisson à volonté!

Dieser Laden ist einer der Top 5 Burger Adressen in Big Apple. Man kann sich den Burger selber zusammenstellen und bekommt ihn frisch gemacht. Es schmeckt einfach nur gut. Und der Laden heißt nicht umsonst and fries Die Pommes sind hier ganz besonders lecker, aus ganzen Kartoffeln und super knusprig man bekommt sie in rauen Mengen in die Tüte gekippt.
Nach einer Nacht im Meatpacker war das hier das ultimative Kater-​Frühstück!

G… sind die gut!!! Der beste Burger den ich kenne!!! Man muss etwas Zeit mitbringen da jeder Burger frisch zubereitet wird. Aber wer macht das nicht gerne, wenn er dafür einen frisch zubereiteten Burger bekommt? Schmeckt wirklich super frisch, ist nichts für Kalorienbewusste aber es ist ein richtiger, echter Burger wie ich ihn mir wünsche. Persönlich fand ich Five Guys in Orlando besser, da er in NY etwas schmuddelig daher kommt. Auch das Käsesandwich ist absolut lecker und die Hotdogs auch!

In meinem 12 monatigen Auslandsaufenthalt in den USA war ich fast Wöchentlich bei 5 Guys.
Es ist ein großer Unterschied zu den anderen FastFood Ketten.
Diese überzeugt durch große, frische Burger. Es wird alles frisch hergestellt vom Fleisch bis zu den Pommes.
Der Geschmack ist einzigartig– oftmals bewertet in den USA als besten Burger landesweit.
Sehr zu empfehlen Bacon-​Cheese du hast die Wahl was drauf kommt.
Die Preise sind natürlich nicht die günstigsten wenn man komplettes menü nimmt sind 11 $ weg, aber es lohnt sich sehr, da man gute Portion bekommt mit massig an Pommes! Die pommes mit Schale fritiert super im Geschmack im Gegensatz zu anderen labrigen Fritten!
5 Guys — I Love it

C’est gras, mais c’est bon ! Si vous prenez à emporter vous serez surpris par le lancé de frites dans le sac, qui imbibe par la même occasion ce dernier !

Un des meilleurs burgers que j’ai mangé dans un fast food. Pour patienter un baril de vraies cacahuètes à décortiquer, idée originale. A la caisse on choisit la base du burger (pain steak /​pain steak fromage /​pain steak bacon — fromage) et on choisit à volonté le reste de garniture: oignons, oignons frits, salade, tomate, champignons, cornichons, piments. On finit par choisir une sauce parmi 5 au choix. Accompagné de petites ou grandes frites? Natures ou épicées? Les frites sont un délice, ce sont de vraies potatoes dont on voit encore la peau parfois! Boisson à volonté et on y va… un pur délice ce burger, on est rassasié et sans pastille anti-​vomitif comme chez Mac** siouplé!

Bei Five Guys habe ich das erste Mal einen wirklich frisch zubereiteten Burger gegessen. Fleisch wurde erst noch geformt und dann gebraten. Die vielen topings sind mal né dolle Abwechslung.
Und ein Geheimtipp sind die Pommes (mit Schale frittieret!)

Five Guys darf als eindrucksvolles Beispiel dafür durchgehen, dass Ketten nicht immer mies sein müssen. Zugegeben, der Laden ist noch neu und bei weitem nicht so groß wie McD und BK, aber auch ganz anders. Die Burger sind groß, günstig und einfach richtig gut. Mit anderen Ketten schon deswegen nicht zu vergleichen, weil sie — wie in einem regulären Restaurant/​Grill — frisch zubereitet werden. Die Brätlinge sind nicht tiefgefroren, es gibt 15 Toppings ohne Aufpreis, die Fritten werden täglich frisch geschnitten und sind ebenfalls nicht aus dem Freezer. Dazu gibt es, um die notwendige und zu verschmerzende Wartezeit zu verkürzen, Erdnüsse zum selber schälen.
Ich habe weder in New York, noch in Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas oder irgendwo dazwischen einen besseren Burger gegessen als die von Five Guys. Und ich habe in fünf Jahren USA grob geschätzt 300 verschiedene probiert. Man kann nur hoffen, dass der aktuell agressive Expansions-​Kurs der Kette die Qualität nicht verhunzt
In Manhattan gibt es einige weitere Filialen, ebenso an der ganzen Ostküste, von Philadelphia über Washington bis hin zu kleinen Küstenorten wie Mystic in Connecticut.
