These guys are the worst!!! Do not use them. I repeat, avoid using this company at all costs. I had the single worst experience buying anything I have ever had. I bought a range from them – it was broken. Pieces were missing. They seem friendly but they are incompetent.

My experience from the moment I entered the store until my appliance was delivered and installed was seamless and top notch! Jane spent a considerable amount of time first assessing my dishwasher needs and then suggesting options. She was very patient as I asked several questions and sought clarification on certain issues. She was not at all pushy and did not try to oversell in any way. I then completed my transaction over email with May which again was efficient and seamless. Delivery and installation was quickly arranged. Rigo and Edwin were the most polite installers. They took upmost care while removing my old dishwasher, cleaning the area before installing the new appliance and were very efficient and pleasant. I will certainly use Flamtech in the future and would high recommend to anyone who is in the market for appliances.

Amazing experience! Their knowledge about the appliances is unbelievable, and so is Jane’s patience and loving kindness nature. She spent time explaining everything and asking questions to make sure that I got what I needed. Jane pointed out that I wouldn’t be able to open the fridge door if I had got the one my architect recommended. They made the whole appliance shopping process stress-​free. I couldn’t say enough good things about Flamtech Appliance. Highly recommended!

Overall I had a very good experience. They have a nice showroom, but that’s not really important to me, as the item I bought wasn’t in the showroom. Jane seemed genuinely interested in finding me the right product and she answered every question and double checked every measurement. The price was also the lowest I found (Granted, I didn’t shop around too much for price), but I was very happy with their service.

My contractor recommended this store, and I am so glad he did! On my first visit, Jane spent an hour with me talking about stoves and I never even bought anything. No attempt to up sell, either – she really listened to what I said I wanted and my price range. Then she answered plenty of e-​mail questions. I finally bought the stove and a range hood as well (the one Jane recommended). May arranged the delivery in a quick and efficient way. There was a little problem with the range hood, and after just one e-​mail Jane had it all straightened out very quickly with no bother for me.
Flamtech sells expensive brands – professional and high-​end home kitchen – but the prices are fair for what you get. Jane and May really know about appliances and will make good suggestions and spend as much time with you as you need. Amazing knowledge, amazing service.

We recently moved into a new apartment and needed a washer dryer as well as a vacuum. The ladies here helped us find our dream machines and were super helpful in telling us how to use these machines. We ended up getting so many odds and ends from them because they were just so easy to deal with. It also helps that the whole place gives you a feeling that these ladies enjoy their work and take pride in it. They know a lot about what they sell and also are not in your face about selling the most expensive appliances but rather what is most fitted for you. Definitely check them out if you’re hunting for high end appliances! And if you ever have a followup question about the appliances they’re also happy to help. A pleasure to deal with!

Needed a new washing machine.
I wanted a Miele and Flamtech was ready to handle the transaction.
Wonderful and responsive customer service working with Jane & May.
Got a demo of the product when I came in to pay and arrange for delivery time.
No drama, no upsell, no cheesy sales tactics. It was a smooth and quick transaction and just what I needed.

Recently needed to buy and have installed a washer dryer. I contacted the usual suspects in New York for this seemingly simple task, but none of them were very responsive. Is the appliance business that good in NYC???
Anyway contacted Flamtech via email and they were amazingly efficient and patient at answering my questions and getting me a quote without any sales pressure.
I scheduled an appointment and the unit was installed at the specified time quickly and efficiently with a competitive price.
Wish every job in my apartment was this simple!

I just bought a refrigerator and dishwasher from Flamtech, and I’ve rarely encountered a salesperson so knowledgeable about her products. Very impressive. Then a minor part in the refrigerator was broken and after I called Flamtech, a replacement was delivered to me the very next day. Great store with excellent service.

I have nothing but praises for the work Flamtech did for us. We renovated our Manhattan townhouse this past summer and bought a bunch of appliances from them…2 subzero refrigerators, a 48″ Wolf range, a Bosch dishwasher, and the new Wolf steam oven. Susan and Jane at Flamtech were very professional and knowledgable when it comes to high end appliances. They answered all our questions and concerns. And the delivery people were also fantastic. They lifted all those appliances to the 5th floor without scratching anything. The 48″ Wolf range is 700 lbs alone. And each subzero fridge is 500 lbs. They did all that going up 5 flights of stairs… no elevator. WOW!!!

we just bought a new fridge from them. the delivery was a nightmare with the delivery people not showing up when scheduled, not calling ahead as promised etc. — pure poorly organized chaos.
when they finally showed up they did not have as much as a screwdriver on them (mind we paid 80 dollars for ‘inside delivery’) and scratched the hell out of the new appliance because they did not feel inclined to take the doors off in a narrow hallway.
we wrote a letter to Flamtech — never heard back from them…

Ok, I know that everyone knows Gringers or PC Richards but if you want people who really and I mean REALLY know their products-​appliances– and care about your needs, the THIS is the place. And NO i don’t have any relationship or get a commission from them.
They just went through a start to finish kitchen renovation w/​us. And we’re not easy. Indecision and changes and back to where we began. Through it all they remained cool and wonderfully helpful.
Oh, they’re prices are way better then anything else around. Anything! Including what I’d price on the internet. And lovely people. Truly wonderfully good natured and quick and helpful and fair-​priced and knowledgeable and caring.
So you say you want more? Go ahead, keep dreaming. These are the go to guys and because of them, we’ve got a terrific kitchen! Many thanks to all of you!!!
