Excellent service, really delicious and fresh food! Yummy cocktails and cozy atmosphere. Had a sister date here and we will definitely return. The wait staff were attentive and we never felt rushed. The shrimp wonton soup was especially good. Will definitely return again.

I’ve been here on several occasions and the food and service are always on point. I came here with my boyfriend on a Monday night around 7:30PM, no wait time and was immediately seated(not to say that there was no one in the restaurant, there were actually plenty of tables full). Server comes over with a wet warm towel to clean your hands or face, I know it sounds weird but its actually awesome and feels great on a freezing day. What we had: $ 60 — Peter Pan Pizza — Fusha Salad — Char-grilled Chilean Sea Bass — Chicken Pineapple Fried Rice EVERYTHINGWASDELICIOUS! E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. And as always service was very accommodating and attentive, my water was always filled and the guy checked on us a few times to make sure things were good. Tips: — From prior experience don’t order the soft shell crabs — they were funky and bitter — Also don’t order the mochi ice cream — I felt like no one ever orders it so it was old and hard.

Spent our NYE here. The sushi is first class! And the avocado dip is also another great choice.

Ordered the salad and sushi combo, salad was served with a delicious peanut sauce, sushi was tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. Served with Asahi beer. Staff was welcoming and friendly.

Came here for dinner on a Monday night and this place was quite busy with people in all the tables, I was a little surprised since 1. It was Monday and 2. It’s all the way out on 1st Ave. As the name of the restaurant says, this is Asian Cuisine, and there is a LOT of variety with many different kinds of Asian food. I wouldn’t say it’s super authentic by any means, but it’s pretty good. I don’t know if they were understaffed, but service was INCREDIBLY slow. Luckily we were not in a rush, and I was at dinner catching up with a friend, so we wanted to hang out and chat, but it took way over 30 minutes for the waiter to take our order and another 30 plus for our appetizer to come. After we finished our appetizer, it was about another 40 minutes before our entrees came. If we were more time cautious, I think I would have been a little upset, but it was okay. The Food: Teriyaki Chicken Entrée — Comes with a salad and a LOT of meat! In general, I’m not a huge fan of teriyaki chicken, but my friend loved it and had enough left over for another meal since the portion size was so large. Singaporean Noodles — One of my favorite dishes, again, portion size was pretty large and had great flavors. No complaints here. Sushi — Was reasonably priced, I ordered the spicy tuna, which was fine(not the highest quality sushi, so hard to really judge how fresh/good it is). I was happy with my spicy tuna roll though! Overall, a clean, nice restaurant with all sorts of Asian food — I would definitely say it is Americanized Asian food. I would come back here again and recommend this place to others — just not if you’re in a rush.

I have been addicted to the 3 roll special at Fusha. I am from Seattle and am super picky when it comes to sushi. However, I also go through sushi withdrawals. And when it comes to sushi you don’t want to go to cheap but it doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg. I actually found Fusha via . It was one of the suggested sushi spots close to my work. They have a discount of so the first time I did 2 rolls, it came with veggie dumplings and a salad and I ordered a miso soup to reach the minimum. Everything with tip was less than $ 12. Now though, I can get 3 rolls, do the spring roll app instead of the dumplings and the miso soup instead of the salad. I absolutely love the miso soup. It’s huge, warm and I love the abundance of seaweed and adorable tiny smurf-village like mushrooms. I am huge fan of the salmon avocado roll, the tuna avocado roll, the spicy tuna roll, crunchy spicy salmon roll and last but not least the crunchy shrimp roll. When you order delivery the paper bag is double bagged in a durable plastic bag. The inside is extremely organized, the miso comes a strong container considering it’s take out. And I love that they give me a little dish to place my soy sauce in and wasabi/ginger. All the rolls are tightly squeezed into the container. I enjoy every bite even when my eyes are bigger than my stomach. To me a sushi food coma is a good way to go.

To be fair, I attended this restaurant a while ago but the food blew my mind! My friend had the Sea Bass with black bean sauce and I had the honey walnut shrimp! We split the rock shrimp app. The meals come with soup and we opted for green tea. The rock shrimp app: The shrimp were diced into pieces but were coated in this sauce made of all the good stuff in life! Crispy and a quite bite to start off. I do recommend getting your own, however. It is way too good to share :) The soup: Delicious! The soup comes with a light broth with tofu, mushroom and seaweed. The soup was very light and satisfying. The shrimp: The shrimp were large and cooked to perfection! The sauce was absolutely delicious, not to sweet or too thick it is served with melon as well! My friend also enjoyed her fish as it too were cooked to perfection! Must try this place if you live or visit NYC. You just Must!

I had a coupon so things were a bit cheaper. Otherwise, this could have been on the pricier side! Overall, I had a great experience. The restaurant itself is spacious and well-decorated. The service is very quick, and your food comes out quite fast. I got the Prix Fixe menu, which came with a lot of side items and was good for sampling. 1. Miso soup: Standard 2. Dumpling starter: This was really cute, with different types of dumplings and shumai. It’s a perfect appetizer. 3. Fusha udon: The beef and udon were cooked very well, with decent but not huge portions. Not too salty. 4. Una don: I love eel, and this eel was done very well. Over a bed of rice. 5. Crunchy spicy salmon and tuna rolls: I felt that the fish was actually pretty fresh here. I know that you really can’t tell with the«spicy» orders, but I enjoyed them. 6. Fried matcha ice cream: This was not that good. The breading was way too thick, so you barely felt like you were getting ice cream. If the fried shell were half as thick, it would have been good. Overall, a solid joint with good quality food, moderately priced, nice ambience.

Real Time Lunch Review! Order up: Buffalo Roll(Spicy chicken tempura roll topped with spicy tuna and chili pepper sprinkled) Tuna Special Roll(Tuna and seaweed salad inside, topped with tuna and avocado) Seared Salmon Striped Bass Sea Urchin Spanish Mackerel Spicy Snow Crab Sea Scallop King Crab Salmon Roe Red Snapper Confirmed at 3:50pm. My office is a good hike from them. Arrived 40 minutes later(delivered by quite the attractive delivery person :-)! Deconstructed approach to condiment packaging… though mad props on giving low sodium soy sauce! Ginger dressing already on salad. All rolls packaged separately, including sashimi… which was kind awesome. Sashimi: fresh, well cut, and they offer lovely uni. Just wish the salmon roe wasn’t put on its side in the container… Tuna Special Roll: You best like tuna if you get this one! Nice textural contract with the seaweed salad. Buffalo: Interesting… not all I’d been hoping for… but glad I tried it. I did need to add some hot sauce to my soy sauce, as it isn’t naturally that spicy. But a fun roll to have tried. TL; DR: At the discounted rate, glad I tried the spot. Had I paid full price, probably wouldn’t have been that satisfied, unless I only ordered the sashimi items, which were quite nice.

Solid delivery choice if you’re in midtown. I’ve been ordering here for almost 4 years now — and the fact that they receive my online order, prepare the rolls and deliver down to Grand Central in 10 minutes is just incredible! I’ve been there a few times, as well, and the service is good — staff is super friendly. Is the sushi remarkably five-star? No. So this review is not based on that. It’s reviewed on what this place is supposed to be — a standard sushi joint that fills you up and doesn’t mind you getting 6 carafes of sake on a Tuesday night.

My future wife and I love sushi, and we couldn’t help but try this cute little restaurant. We are super lucky we did! We had the scallops four ways, which was absolutely delightful. We also had the Octopus and Baby Yellowtail Sashimi which melts in your mouth. We finished our late lunch with 4 different sushi rolls, each with its own distinct look and packed full of flavor. Nothing is complete without tempura fried ice cream that is sensational. Spectacular

The service was very good & fast except he asked the tip at the end but we we’re going to tip anyways! Should not ask for tips it’s not professional to ask! They’re very generous portions & i never seen a good piece of teriyaki salmon & every entrée they serve miso soup! The sushi is fresh you can tell when you bite into them it melts in your mouth! That’s when you know it’s fresh! It was very good!

I’ve eaten here a few times over the last year and the food is pretty good– I wouldn’t say it’s great but it’s pretty good. Prices are about average. The service is so so. I always enjoy getting the Indian pancakes with potato curry dipping sauce. There used to be a restaurant by NYU where I enjoyed their roti and curry but this is a close second — it can do without the shrimp chips though. Their sushi is average and I would skip. Their pad Thai is slightly above average. Whenever I eat here, I always order 2 – 3 drinks at a time because the staff isn’t very attentive and pass you without checking on you. Between an appetizer, entrée, drink, and tip you’ll pay under $ 20

So I promised and update review for this establishment but I am sad to say I really don’t have much to add from my initial review. Still subpar and tasteless which says a bit for sushi or maybe not… all I know is my palate was very disappointed and unhappy. So a reduction in my rating and a sad face because now I have to search for replacement Asian fusion place.

I came to Fusha Sushi for lunch on a weekday with my sister-in-law. We sat outside which was delightfully pleasant. The SERVICE was outstanding! We had 2 babies and one toddler with us, so I naturally assumed the wait staff would hate us… Not at all! The servers constantly made sure our water glasses were full, and even lot together a plastic water cup with a straw for my 3-year-old niece. The LUNCHSPECIALS are awesomely it’s $ 9 for 2 sushi rolls plus soup or salad, or $ 12 for 3 sushi rolls plus soup of salad. This seems like pretty standard lunch sushi pricing for the UES. The rolls themselves were pretty small(I probably could have eaten 6 of them), but the quality was good. The side salad and soup(miso or tom yum) were both good. My sister-in-law also ordered a shrimp pad Thai for the toddler. The restaurant was very nice to make sure it wasn’t too hot or too spicy for her. We all had a taste and it was great. Overall, the food wasn’t anything outstanding compared to other sushi places on the upper east side, but this place gets a good review for its excellent service.

The service was pretty good. The server was attentive and nice. Went here for a groupon deal($ 60 value for $ 30). The restriction is that you have to have $ 60 worth of whatever you’re ordering. We got the sushi and sashimi for two which had California roll and Lady Lobster roll. The rolls were pretty small. I wish the sashimi came with rice but instead it came with noodles and kelp. It was ok. The slices of fish pretty much tasted the same. We also got the Armagedon Roll which was good. I wouldn’t recommend getting the sushi and sashimi for two unless you have a groupon deal or some kind of discount.

I went here to get dinner and it was fancy, but attire is casual! We were greets by a wonderful waitress who gave us hot towels to wipe our hands and tell us about their specials and all that important stuff. We ended up getting 3 rolls, the guacamole starter and dumplings! The rolls that we got, I unfortunately can’t remember as it was their specialty rolls, were good. They were huge though! You get full off of just one! The guacamole is served with spicy tuna and wasabi chips, which I wanted more and more and more. This is a lovely place to visit. Right now there is some street construction going on, but you will still be able to find it when you’re on the east side of new York!

Groupon $ 60 for $ 120 restaurant credit. Fusha is more an Asian Fusion restaurant than a Japanese restaurant. Waiter hands you hot towelettes after you’re seated. Tap water is free, but $ 1 was charged for hot tea. Ordered Sashimi and Sushi for 2 $ 59 and several rolls at $ 6 to $ 9 a pop added up to $ 120 and just hit the spot for party of 4. There is nothing special and definitely nothing authentic at Fusha. They have most of the typical rolls you’d expect at a Japanese restaurant catered to American taste, but still missing a lot of them. They make no effort to be creative with their rolls and sushi is average. Aside from their Groupon, their service was the best Fusha had to offer. The waiter was very polite and attentive, but that’s not enough to make me go back. This is more of a just convenient and decent sushi joint for folks who live in its neighborhood. The restaurant’s location is somewhat out of the way — 3 avenues away from nearest subway station, 6 train to 59th Street.

Really enjoyed dinner. We had tropical jumbo shrimp and Chilean sea bass with black bean sauce, steamed mixed dumplings for appetizer. I really liked my dish but the bf was not so impressed with his. Jumbo shrimp dish was excellent, however dominated by mango(looked like a lot of food when really it was a pile of mostly mango). Jumbo shrimp perfectly cooked on a bed of ripe mango, sugar snap peas, and peppers with a spicy chili sauce, great combo of spicy and sweet. The sea bass was good bf liked the black bean sauce but the piece of fish was quite small and he left hungry. The dumplings were good but nothing special. The server was very nice. I’d go back, would like to try sushi next time.

Cute little Japanese restaurant. Came here with a groupon! It was $ 30 for $ 60 worth food and drinks! For 2, it was plenty. We got a noodle dish, 3 rolls, and a drink and only had to pay 8 dollars on top. The Singapore noodles with shrimp was delicious, perfect amount of seasonings and the perfect portion. As for the rolls, got the sweet potato roll, some roll with mango and pineapple, and the buffalo chicken roll. The sweet potato roll was okay, I’ve had better. The roll with the mango and pineapple was my favorite! It was so fresh and worked well with the fish in it. The buffalo chicken roll was not good. It tasted sour and dry. I’m not blaming the place, I just don’t think buffalo chicken is meant for sushi. Our waiter was very kind. He gave us warm towelettes when we sat down to wipe our hands with! They made the food pretty quickly too! The décor was very nice, great for a date night. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here though.
