Order the Mee Krob was not crispy the Masamun Curry there were no peanuts was fair. The Thai Barbecue chicken was very dry. Very disappointed! This place use to be good. I called to complain and they really didn’t seem like they cared. I no longer order from them.

Real Thai is always Real Good. Beef salad is spicy and fresh. Red curry tofu is warm, flavorful with lots of variety of flavor. Service is also Real Friendly. I love this place.

The food I found to be very good, the service was excellent. I also accidently forgot my phone in there and they ran out of the restaurant to return it to me. If I have only one qualm it’s that they don’t serve fresh coconut water like alot of Thai places I go to. But for $ 17 i got a chicken red curry with a side salad and white rice as well as a Tom Kha Gai and Thai Ice Tea. Definitely the best bang for your buck in this area for lunch. Will definitely come back.

Delicious Thai food, perfect blend of spices! Tom Yom soup was super delicious! Also had the chicken satay which I felt was a bit on the dry side. We ordered a chicken green curry and shrimp red curry. Both currys looked identical in terms of vegetables but the color of the curry was different. Nonetheless the taste was exquisite and the food was made quick!

I’m not sure what I was thinking the first time I reviewed Real Thai and only gave them four stars. Perhaps, being somewhat novice when it comes to Thai cuisine, I had not had enough bad Thai experiences to truly appreciate having a restaurant as good as Real Thai within close proximity to my home. This is our go-to for Friday or Saturday lunch, and I also order takeout sometimes. The interior is small, clean, and somewhat cozy. They decorate according to the seasons and holidays, and I like that. The staff is friendly, and they never get our order wrong. We never wait long to receive our food. Awesome deals on booze, though I’ve only drank there once. I had my usual white wine(I believe I had the Chardonnay), and I have no complaints. Real Thai lives up to their name, in terms of quality. I may not be educated on what exactly constitutes«authentic» Thai cuisine, but they are right up my alley in regards to what I’m looking for when I walk into a Thai restaurant. I usually order my food«Thai hot», but it’s pretty spicy as a standard. I’m the kind of crazy person that likes to be sniffling by mid-meal. My favorite dishes here are the spicy basil with beef, pad prik with beef, spicy basil fried rice with veggies, spicy noodles with beef, and spicy beef fried rice. My boyfriend is a huge fan of the Pad See Ew with chicken and Gui Kua with shrimp. In terms of price, I personally feel it’s reasonable for what we are getting. We are loyal customers because we always know what to expect. They are consistent, we get treated well when we are there, and they are always within their promised delivery time when I order out.

I’ve ordered from here before and it’s been fine. But this time, I ordered a salad with crispy duck and it was pretty vile. When you think crispy duck, you think of tender, juicy duck with a very crispy outside, right? What I got was tiny slices of duck meat that were grisly, shriveled and dried out — the pieces appeared to have been deep fried after they had been cut up. It was pretty gross and inedible. Also, there were barely any greens, so it wasn’t much of a salad.

Heaven on earth! The Tom Kha soup was the stand out. I had the first spoonful & was swept into a religious rapture. The Pad Thai was good, but not stellar. The Thai iced tea was what I expect from one. I like mine a bit stronger, but no complaints. *Also very affordable! My complete dinner, tax included, was about $ 18. The portions were also very generous, for any price point, but really amazing at that price.

I love this place for the Gui Kua noodle dish. I pay 4 dollars extra to add shrimp. It s such a good dish that I don’t try anything else! Give it a shot, it’s absolutely delicious!

My coworker recommended this place. I ordered lunch from there and asked if the lady wants to take down my name and number. She said no. I go pick up my food and paid for the food in the bag only to find out that it’s entirely the wrong order. It was too late to bring it back as well because I was already back to my office. The food I was stuck with is not good. The beef is over cooked.

I wish I could give this place a 3.5. The service was very good. The atmosphere was okay. The construction outside takes away from positive dining experience. We had curry chicken. It was good.

Good local Thai restaurant! Was walking around the neighborhood with my brother, and we stumbled upon Real Thai. We came in because the prices seemed good, and there were lots of good options on the menu. For appetizer, I recommend the Basil Summer rolls. These come with shrimp, and served with a delicious peanut sauce. As far as the main meal, you can choose mild, medium, or Thai Spicy. I struggled with my «medium» and would definitely go for mild next time. I ordered a stirfry with chicken, basil, and vegetables. The portion size was generous, leaving me quite full. The waitress(who may have also been the owner) was extremely friendly. The service was great, to the point where I felt like I was welcomed into the owner’s living room. Would recommend if you’re in the area!

Went here with friends for a late night dinner. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, lighting, and music(a throwback to good 80s music). I ordered the red curry, and it was delicious. My friends also loved their dishes. There’s a $ 5 all night drink special on sake, champagne, beer, and wine; and the service was good. Happy! Will be back :)

Ordered take-out for dinner here. Not bad but could have been better — I got the Green Curry with pork, which was a decently-sized portion but the meat was dry /tough. Would probably go with chicken next time. Also got a Green papaya salad, which was ok. Never tried it before, but it’s pretty similar to sliced cucumber — a bit bland and definitely not like the fruit.

I just realized I order in so often(like 2x a week) from this place since it’s a couple blocks from my apt… but I’ve never left a review. Well, I just ordered in tonight(ah, lazy Sunday evenings) and as always, I love the food here. In the beginning, it wasn’t what I expected(I was expecting Pongsri or Pam’s Kitchen style food)…but over time, I really started to love it. It’s become my healthy(or healthier) comfort food. My go-to dishes are the spicy noodle entrée without egg(basically pad kee mao) with soft tofu and the spicy basil entrée, also with soft tofu. What I love about Real Thai is that the basil tofu dish is chock full of super fresh veggies that are just barely sauteed. So, while they’re cooked, they’re still crunchy. And the food is not greasy. Sometimes the noodles are a little sweet but I always ask for no sugar and they’re pretty good about it. Another good dish: their green curry. I’ve also had the curry puffs(with ground chicken) — delicious. I love papaya salad but not a huge fan of the one from this restaurant. It’s always too sweet. Bottom line, Real Thai is really consistent in delicious, spicy, non-greasy food(at least what I’ve tried). Delivery is always fast. This place is def one of my go-to places to order in from on a weekly basis.

My coworkers and I visit Real Thai for lunch, and it is one of our favorite inexpensive sit in places. The food is always plentiful, delicious and inexpensive(under $ 10) and the wait staff is always attentive. We are always able to eat in under 45 minutes, while having a great conversation. While there is usually not a people there during lunch(which makes it easy for larger groups, although the space is small) there are tons of delieveries going out.

I order from Real Thai all the time, and they make exceptional food. I order their spicy noodle and its really amazing and reasonably priced. Money is a little tight on my end, so I appreciate that they price food for people on my budget at the moment. Id give them 6 stays for their food, but I have to reduce my rating for the really mood at delivery guy they have. He’s always a little obnoxious, but today he was extremely rude. He never expresses what the issue is, or if its my tip being too low, but its unprofessional. It came to the point where I don’t feel comfortable ordering from them because what if he does something to my food while delivering it because he is upset about something. Its sad because I love their food, but its better to be safe than sorry.

Ordered online. Delivered quickly. I ordered the chicken pad thai(medium spice). I would probably taste more flavor if I were to lick a napkin. Bummer.
