Goodburger

It’s a shame this place is closed because the burgers were damn good. A little on the pricey side especially given the sizes but whoever ate at one of these joints know what I’m talking about.

Went by today, store is closed.

The name of the place says it all. They make a good burger. Not great, but it’s good. Service is pretty fast considering that they make the burgers as you order them.

Goodburger is like the smaller version of Five Guys, with worse fries. It was $ 10 for a meh burger. (The burger is actually $ 7, but you pay for each topping; it adds up.)
The burger tasted fresh enough, but it was not so flavorful and not so interesting. I like my burgers with no pink at all, and these were cooked through and through, but others might not enjoy that. It takes a while to cook so be prepared to wait. I wouldn’t try coming here during the lunch hour rush.

We only ended up eating here because nothing else was open on July 4^th. But they had a solid selection of burgers and the burger itself was pretty good. Nothing spectacular, the patties were thick, but not very wide. The small buns give a feeling of a small portion, but the patty itself is a good size.
We ordered some cheese fries that were comparable to McDonalds fries with melted cheese on them. I wouldn’t say that’s necessarily bad, but it wasn’t anything groundbreaking or noteworthy.
The service and atmosphere was nice, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely go again if I was in the neighborhood.

Hmm… The burgers were pretty good with a decent proportion. The flavors are pretty good especially with their respective sauces.
I wouldn’t say that these burgers are better or worse than the competition. It’s simply a different taste overall. I do however prefer these burgers given the same price but since there’s so many choices I wouldn’t limit myself to goodburger.

After couple of meetings in the morning at work, I was in the mood for greasy food. I agree with the other Unilocaler that this place is better than Five Guys. As I walked in during the lunch hour this place was packed. I got the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and the damage was less than $ 10 bucks.
They did take almost 20 mins to prepare my order but my food was really good and very delicious. But it wasn’t enough meat and I was still feeling hungry after my burger.

goodburger totally hits the spot when I’m in the mood to get on the express bus to Fat Town. I think goodburger is MUCH better than Five Guys and also the atmosphere is nicer Five Guys gives me an anxiety attack because it’s so chaotic. goodburger is clean and organized, and I like that. The burgers are just standard fast food burgers — I don’t really see a difference in quality between any of these places. The cheese fries are good, but still not even close to Lucky Burger’s cheese fries.

I originally left a negative review for this goodburger location. There was a mix up with my order, and the delivery took way longer than expected. I later removed it because i felt bad, the delivery guy just got lost, no need to blast them on the internet.
I’m re-​writing the review because I got a call from the store manager the next day and he made things totally right. It was nice to see that they read these reviews, and care to keep their customers happy. He didn’t have to go out of his way to call me, but he did, and I appreciate that.
I will definitely come back here and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great burger in the financial district.

Not so good burger…
I have experienced Goodburger on several occasions… my last occasion is forever burned in my memory.
First, no turkey burgers were available. So, I ordered a cheeseburger. Nothing special, and did not sit so well in my stomach. However, the most alarming part of my «Goodburger» experience was the salad. I had eaten about half of my salad and was about to eat another piece of lettuce when the lettuce moved… it was a green bug!!! I understand the food is supposed to be «fresh from the farm», but wash your lettuce! So gross! I was then offered another salad. I was not interested in more bug infested food and will not be returning.

I’m suprised at all the terrible reviews. I thought everything I ordered from the place was solid. The only negative is that this place is a little on the pricey side for fast food. But if you don’t feel like a burrito, this place is great to get a quick meal.
Hubby and I got the veggie burger and a grilled chicken salad (a great size and made with better greens than you’d get elsewhere and I loved that they added some crispy onions to it), with a side of onion rings and sweet potato fries (both are stellar). He had a soda and I had the cookies and cream shake, which was delicious. Everything was fresh and tasty and I’d order them again. Entire meal was $ 32 which isn’t bad at all!

I was recently invited to try a burger, shake and fries courtesy of goodburger. Besides burgers, goodburger also offers sandwiches, turkey burgers and a variety of beverages. Goodburger prides itself on fresh ingredients without additives, fillers, or preservatives. I admit when I’m going for a burger, I don’t really think about those things BUT I’m glad to know these facts just the same.
What I did notice was the cute décor as well as the open layout — I love seeing my food prepared in front of me! They had a little assembly line setup going on. I ordered a classic burger with cheese and the works (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mustard, mayo, ketchup), a strawberry milkshake and an order of fries.
I had ordered the burger «medium» and it was grilled to perfection — just slightly pink on the inside. The burger was juicy without being too greasy, and you could tell the lettuce and tomato were fresh (no wilting here!). The fries were crispy, again without being too greasy, and the strawberry milkshake was deeeelish! Mmmm.
As I mentioned, my meal was sponsored, but you can see this meal would have cost $ 14.70. So overall, I really liked the burger, shake and fries at goodburger. The price is a bit more than I would pay for a regular burger meal, so I don’t know if I’d visit goodburger too often (unlike my $ 8 vegetarian burrito bowl from Chipotle across the street, ha!) but it was good for a try. If you’re looking for a tasty, non-​greasy burger, I’d definitely recommend giving goodburger a go!

I was hungry, we were in a hurry and I needed something filling because I just got off the red eye flight and didn’t eat for hours.
Not really a great burger for the price. I had the Goodburger pound wither with cheese, cooked medium, an order of fries and a root beer. The burger was cooked to my liking which was good but it didn’t have enough seasoning. The meat tasted kind of bland even with the sauce and condiments. The burgers come with onions, pickles, lettuce and tomatoes. The root beer tasted pretty good and quenched my thirst and the fries were fine as well.
I will probably with go somewhere else for a burger next time and cant really recommend this place.

Goodburger indeed. I’m still trying to decide whether or not I like the fact the meat is season with oregano? (i think), but i honestly think it could do without it.
Cooked medium well, slightly toasted bun, great garnish to meat to bread ratio, plum tomatoes instead of beefsteak — you really can’t say anything bad about it.
The fries… well, i’ve had better. The shoestring kind… cooked well but I kind of want that potatoey mush to it.
The onion rings are fresh and beer battered, definitely a two thumbs up.
And the Arnold Palmer? Not too sweet, just the way i like it.

Sometime I just gotta have one!

Reliable place to get a solid burger
Positives
* Burger is juicy and good, although a little greasy
* They introduced a smaller, lower-​priced burger, which increases my willingness to come here.
* Onion rings are good
Okay
* Fries are not bad with a slight batter for crunchiness
* Wait is often long, and preparation time is relatively long too. That said, the burger is good.

Was headed to Chipotle to pick up a quick dinner for me and my Hubby, but it was closed for a private party! *shrug
I’ve never been here so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a burger (medium well with everything on it), turkey burger (the works), and fries. The burger was pretty greasy, but tasty. Hubby needed a healthier burger so the turkey wasn’t as tasty, but felt a lot healthier. The fries were old and stale! Very disappointed.
The place is nice and clean, and the staff was pretty friendly (by NYC standards).
If you live close by and you’re looking to have a quick bite + you’re in the mood for a burger, then this would hit the spot.

Maybe I have a sensitive stomach? But not frequently.
And as the night went on, this burger slowly grew into a full sized baby. I had tummy pains for most of the night and next morning. boo ;(

Goodburger got some good burger. My first time trying this place out since forever, my coworker keeps telling me about it but I keep pushing it off cause it was well over 10 bucks for a burger combo.
I got the burger with the works without any mustard; cause mayo, ketchup and mustard is too much for me. Also got a side of french fries and a drink and it was already $ 11ish.
I love how the burger taste, it’s not just a small measly patty but it was a pretty darn good size burger meat. It was a good ½−¾ inch thick along with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles. I ordered it medium well, it was cooked to perfection for me. The burger was very juicy and not at all dry, they could’ve added a bit more ketchup/​mayo tho. Even though the size of the burger as a whole might seem small but the thickness of the burger will surely fill you up. This burger joint won me over, I’m sure I’ll be going back.

This is the 2^nd goodburger I’ve tried and I think the quality and taste is pretty much the same across the board. I ordered the works with a side of cheese fries (there goes watching my cholesterol!) and my bf got a burger and a soda for $ 24. I like this location because it is not hectic like the midtown East location and it is brand new.
The cheese fries came with real cheese and being that I usually like the cheez whiz kind I was sad but they were still good. I think the special sauce they put on is way better than plain ketchup and mustard but they don’t give you a lot.
There are a ton of burger spots in Manhattan and to me, this one is decent but doesn’t necessarily stand out.
