Went to Harry’s yesterday late afternoon, Monday, 4:30 pm. As expected it was almost empty. We sat in their large outdoor patio/sidewalk eating area which is situated on a corner with one street being Gold street. This street doesn’t have thru traffic which made it nice. It did have numerous long narrow drainage channels each covered with a grate. While having a drink before we ordered, we naturally watched the locals. I say that because this street was popular with the locals walking their dogs after work down this large sidewalk area. We enjoyed this because we are dog lovers. But it was hilarious and I guess impressive that the vast majority of these walked dogs pissed into the drainage channels! They have to go somewhere in this concrete area — I have to wonder where the pooped. Now to the food. We felt like having pizza and went to Harry’s because of the location. We got what we thought they are known for — a square pizza call the old fashion. This pizza was cooked and served in a what looked like a 9×13 cookie sheet. We got an onion, sausage and pepperonie — turned out the onions were red onions, ok I guess. The first pieces we ate were corner pieces, they were good. The next pieces the crust started to sog out. The longer it sat the soggier it got and I mean it happened basically on our second piece. The pizza had a good flavor, and we ate most of it but won’t return for the pizza. We had 3 or 4 beers, 2 glasses of wine and a soggy pizza for $ 90 including tip.

Great Italian is hard to come by in Fidi, and was disappointed going to Harry’s for pizza and meatball parm. Pizzas were just okay, it helped that I did unlimited mimosas to compensate for sub par pizza. And I’ve gotten the meatball parm a couple times for lunch but it was always underwhelming. Not enough red sauce and cheese didn’t melt all the way. On top of the basic food, service is terribly slow. I’m surprised how busy this place can get.

Everything is pricey for the food you get. My friend ordered a pizza with pepperoni and chess for $ 18, and it tasted just like the ones you can get for $ 2 for a big slice. I ordered linguini with mussel in red sauce. Here goes the worst part, my linguini came to me with clams instead of mussels. I asked the server if this is mussels, she looked at it and went to her manager. They came and asked me if I would like them to make another one, but I said no. Why? Because my friend’s pizza came like 10 mins ago and of course she will be done by the time my actual linguini came, and they did not offer anything else. Next, we wanted to separate out checks because I ordered a glass of wine. She said we can just give her the card and tell her. And again, she messed up again and charger my order to my friend’s card. The food is not even good here, so I will ever go back again.

Went there at 1am with four otherwise friends to Share a pizza that was excellent. The waitress was also really nice in spite of late hours and our small order. We Really had a good time!

Went here for brunch on a Saturday with two of my best friends. This brunch deal is awesome — bread & oil + breakfast pizza(or whatever meal you choose) + endless mimosas/bloodies/coffee for approx. $ 30(tax & tip included). For two hours too! Hard to come by in NYC. I ordered the white pizza with potatoes, pancetta and carmelized onions. DELICIOUS. My friends enjoyed their breakfast pizzas too. The place had more of a pizzeria vibe instead of a nice Italian restaurant and wasn’t too crowded — I kind of like when brunch places are a little more lively so this was kind of a bummer. The mimosas kept coming which was awesome but wish they were a little stronger. Still worth it for the price! Would still recommend to friends.

We tried this restaurant out on 5÷20÷16. The bread was awesome! The downfall started when they had no fresh or roasted garlic to put in the olive oil. We had to pour our own olive oil add garlic powder(that’s what we were brought when we asked for garlic) and mix balsamic vinegar which we also had to ask for this. We had to ask for refills of tea(by the way that is $ 3 per glass filled full of ice). The waiter did not share that tea was not unlimited refills like every other restaurant. Once our food arrived we also asked for fresh Parmesan and was told they only have it in a shaker. A restaurant that claims to be Italian but apparently don’t provide basics to the customers. Portions were great and service could have been better,

This is GOOD pizza! I really liked the crust and how it tasted. My friend recommended the eggplant, which was good, but next time, I think I would just order it plain and savor the simplicity. I was surprised by the after-work crowd on a Wednesday, a lot of people who looked like they came in to have a few drinks and blow off some steam.

I came here for brunch with my girlfriend. We were quickly seated and it was very packed. The food was all reasonably priced. The atmosphere was great. My bus boy was wonderful. My food? Was not for me. I ended up getting the BLT. When it came out, it was the biggest thing I’ve seen and was more than excited to dig in. However, I was quickly disappointed. After picking up one piece, the whole thing kinda just fell apart all over my plate. There was so much salad on the sandwich, one would think I ordered just lettuce on bread. I opened it and there was legit TWO slices Of bacon for this monster sandwich and two slice tomato. Lol. What happened? I ended up returning my dish because I’m not a damn rabbit who just wants to eat lettuce and bread. The manager came to my table and apologized and was sincere about it and asked if I wanted anything else. I’m the person that never gets anything after returning another so I kindly declined. He removed it off the bill and let me continue to drink my bottomless mimosa’s at no charge except for the juice which was $ 7 a carafe I believe. Despite me not enjoying my dish, I want to say it was because it was very busy and want to give them benefit of doubt so I will most likely come back to try brunch again but with a different dish possibly.

This pub style restaurant was where we took a break to feed our hungry on a weekend mid-afternoon after a photoshoot. The restaurant had plenty of seating. The hostess sat us in the back room in table booth. The menu runs the usual gamut of Italian American fare and sandwiches. The pizza looked good but we did go for that. We started with the fried calamari. It was nice and tender coated with a light batter. I went with the Meatball Parm and my friend went for grilled chicken with peppers & mozzarella. Our waitress bright and cheery. The sandwich was huge. I think one sandwich actually can feed two people. The meatballs in flavorful tomato sauce oozing with cheese in a warm crusty Italian bread. My friend’s sandwich was the same. It was a nice casual place to rest, feed our hunger before heading out. Harry’s Italian definitely did its job. We both had enough(other half of sandwich) for next day’s lunch.

Came here for brunch today. We ordered mimosas and I got their Arugula and parmesan pizzatte without the meat on top. Altogether with tax and tip, my group each paid $ 30, for the drinks included, I was quite impressed. The mimosas weren’t too strong. The pizzatte was very delicious and I ended up bringing 3 slices home. The parmesan slices were fresh, not too salty and just the right amount of flavor. The service was polite, accommodating and relatively quick. I hope to return soon and definitely recommend this place to others.

Two words: HANGOVERPIE. Late at night and on weekends Harry’s has their hangover pie – a square pizza with sauce, cheese, french fries, pepperoni, and hot sauce. I can’t even count how many times I ate this while I lived in FiDi. And it is, actually, really good cold in the morning for when you’re hungover. I love normal Harry’s pizza too. It’s by no means New York style pizza but it’s crispy, buttery, and just so good. Their plain cheese is delicious but their pepperoni while basic, is something special. They use smaller, thicker slices of roni which crisp up really nicely in the oven, like pepperoni chips. While not heavy, the slices are a bit thick and hold their own, making it the perfect pizza to order in and eat in bed… not that I ever did that… They also have a really nice bar which I used to frequent often, and their bartenders are always friendly and attentive. They have a great selection of wine and liquor, as well as some great beer deals – like $ 20 for a pitcher and pie(that was a few years ago, not sure if it’s changed). When it’s nice out, Harry’s has a TON of outdoor seating and it’s the perfect place to sit outside with some pie and drinks. The only pitfall I will say is that it can be pricey. Once you order a pizza or a pasta or a salad, it can definitely get expensive for what is essentially a pizza place, but I wouldn’t let that deter you from Harry’s.

3.5−4 stars. Came here with colleagues on a Thursday night. It was decently packed but not too crowded. Definitely one of the nicer casual places I’ve been to in FiDi. They have a great selection of beers on tap as well as some fun regular selections that you can try. They also have pizza, Italian food naturally, and a standard cocktail list. I tried the pepperoni pizza, which was solid. Granted, pizza is very difficult to mess up, but I appreciated that these came in nice little squares and were easy to eat in a non-messy manner. It was a tad bit greasy but in a good, juicy way. For my first drink I tried the cosmo. The vodka was too strong for me but overall it was an okay cocktail. I REALLY liked the beer that I ordered: the Porkslap. Picked it because of the silly name but turned out to be a thoroughly refreshing pale ale. The restaurant is divided up into a bar area and a dining area. The former is actually very spacious and has dining-like tables for bigger groups. I enjoyed my experience here-a good option for a smaller, sit-down happy hour work social!

Harry’s Italian is one of the better lunch options in this area. We ordered pizza the two times that I’ve been here. The first visit had a half white old fashioned square pie. The pizza dough is soft, thin, and crispy which I love. We also ordered the stuffed mushrooms appetizer which wasn’t memorable. It was a small portion and bland to me for what it cost. During our second visit, we ordered half of the half red old fashioned square with pepperoni. This came with a generous amount of pepperoni, which is great because I love pepperoni! I’m not kidding, the it was pepperoni on top of pepperoni on top of pepperoni. However, this does make the pizza extremely oily, which results in a soggy crust as the slices are sitting in this pool of oil. It was pretty off putting to me after the first slice that I had to use an entire napkin to wipe some of the oil from one slice alone. No one said pizza was healthy right? Come with at least another person as you cannot buy slices.

Amazing deal for bottomless brunch! Huge dishes plus unlimited mimosas and/or bloody mary’s for only $ 22. Came here to catch up with a friend. We sat down at 11:30am and beat the crowd. The restaurant space is really big and can accommodate both small and large groups. Décor is comfy and unpretentious, with an upscale diner vibe. Food was just alright. Free bread was soft and warm, which is always appreciate. I ordered the artichoke and sopressata frittata and my friend got the potato and pancetta pizza. Both our entrees were HUGE. I’m pretty sure there were at least 6 eggs in my frittata. It was rather dry and salty. I enjoyed the side potatoes way more than the frittata itself. The pizza was definitely better and I wish I ordered one myself. We each had maybe 4 – 6 drinks in the two hours were were there. The mimosa was good, though flat. I ended up really enjoying the Bloody Mary! It was spicy with a bitter edge, which actually grew on me. They allow you to switch between the two kinds of drinks which I appreciated, and they were super diligent about refills, which was why it was so easy to lose track of how much we each had. If it wasn’t so far from where I live, I think I’d come way more frequently. You get so much food for the money and bottomless brunch is always fun!

Their food is pretty good but I mostly get a plain pizza. I like it a lot because it’s not a typical ny cheese slice(although I love those too, it’s just nice to have a change). It reminds me of Patsy’s pizza. Even when the pizza is delivered its pretty hot. I like that the slices are small. I usually eat the pie(I order a small one for myself), and eat two or three small(very small) slices at a time and just leave it out for later. It still tastes good at room temperature. Crust is thin but not too thin. In terms of the service, the several times I’ve been there in person, was pretty bad. I’d give it 4 stars if it weren’t for the service. The food and ambiance are good. I wouldn’t discourage someone from going there. It’s a good alternative to Harry’s the steakhouse and it’s a little cheaper. The steakhouse doesn’t have pizza, so I like to go back and forth.

2 stars. I don’t mind paying a bit more for quality food but during a recent order, I took one bite and I felt this establishment just take your money and you feel cheated. Take a look at the pasta photo of my recent take-out. This photo speaks volume. I can find better pasta in Little Italy. I think they changed cooks in the kitchen. For the price they are changing for pasta, you would think they put more effort to hire someone who actually knows how to make pasta, no?

I love me a boozy brunch. And what goes better with alcohol than pizza? This place has one of the cheaper deals around town — just $ 21 for unlimited mimosas and an entrée. The pizzas are plenty filling and they are pretty good about topping off your drink as well. Definitely a good choice, I just wish they had a couple more classic brunch options.

The free focaccia has less oil than what I prefer but the flavor was great. I ordered lunch size veal in the oven. The dish comes with either eggplant or broccoli but I don’t really know how broccoli would work because the eggplant came as a light parm. Portion of the lunch size was very small and was probably the least amount of food I’d gotten for $ 15(2 thin slices of veal and 2 thin slices of eggplant), but they give you enough bread to fill you up.

On the one hand, Harry’s rebels against the common problems that make unlimited NYC boozy brunch a drag. There are no waiters timing how long you drink for, no long lines to wait on and the all you can drink special is priced extremely well at $ 20.95(yes, that includes an entrée and your choice of mimosas or bloody marys). And, you can switch off between the two drinks if you choose. So what’s the catch? Well for starters, the Harry’s version of a mimosa doesn’t include champagne. It’s made with white wine, OJ and seltzer — which inevitably goes flat since they’re served in pre-made pitchers that have been sitting out. And good luck flagging down a waiter to give you refills. A girl could die of thirst over at Harry’s. Also, unless you’re living down in the FiDi, this place is a trek. But this place still gets four stars from me, because of how well it’s priced, and how out of this world the entrée selections are. Their pizzettes are huge and topped with some of the most amazing combinations you could ever think up. The arugula and prosciutto pizza will literally change your life. The crust is crispy and perfect and the shaved parmesan on top just makes it. The bloody marys are also solid, not too spicy but not too bland. You can actually get filet mignon and eggs as your entrée. For $ 20.95. What a time to be alive.

Came here on a Friday night with a group of 7. We had reservations and they seated us at a round table in the dimly lit back corner of the restaurant. We asked if we could sit in the booths by the window but they said no, this was reserved for you. The restaurant wasn’t anywhere near even half full so I didn’t understand why this was such a big deal. Now onto the food. We ordered two square pizzas — one plain, one with half pepperoni and half mushrooms — and family sized spaghetti and meatballs. The plain pizza was actually the best one. The cheese was generous and there was a good sauce/crust/cheese ratio. However, I’m confused as to how the pizza with toppings didn’t taste as fresh as the plain one. Something just seemed off about it. The spaghetti and meatballs were also mediocre. The sauce was very watery and the meatballs were kind of spongy. I would recommend ordering a plain pizza to really taste delicious square pizza with no frills.
