Lunch delivery off seamless, chicken parmigiana sandwich is almost always perfection. Hot crispy sesame crusty bread with ooeygooey cheese and chicken. I seem to get the same delivery guy every time who is so cheerful and nice! Brightens my day and warms my tummy. Awesome!

We order a delivery recently this week, the prices were very modest, and the food was delivered fast. We order a sandwich and the homemade lasagna. The complimentary bread that came with the lasagna was delicious and warm. However, the lasagna tasted rotten like it was made with a cheese that was already turning green. I know cheeses normally smell, but this cheese was really weird, and tasted sour. I couldn’t finished it, because the smell stopped my hunger so, I saved it for the next day. When I took it out from the fridge to heat it up it was super duper mega rotten. I couldn’t even open the container again to double check. It was like beans when they have fermented. Ugh I’m giving them 4 stars because the service was good, the prices are cheap, the delivery was fast, and the sandwich was Okey. It was just the lasagna, unfortunately.

I live in LA so whenever I’m in FiDI for work I need to get my pizza fix. I’m a simple plain cheese slice type of girl, and Liberatos .right. Pair it with a fountain Pepsi and I’m set! I might try a chicken parm on my next trip, the mozzarella looked so gooey and delicious coming out of the oven. If I like it, I’ll come back and add the fifth star.

I travel to NY about once a month. So far this is the best pizza I’ve found near my office on Broadway. Nothing amazing but haven’t been disappointed either.

Pretty great pizza. I was craving a slice and this place was very close to my office. I got a plain with extra cheese. They lose a star for the amount of extra cheese. I like my extra cheese slices to have a great helping of it. This one looked like he barely sprinkled some on. The crust and sauce were awesome. All around great slice. Will definitely be back to try more.

Pretty good value around Wall St area. Their chicken Parm sandwich is very good; super crispy bread, just the way I love it. Haven’t tried their pizza and pasta yet, so I will be back soon and give it a more detailed review next time! Looking forward to my next visit.

Nice variety of pizza and Italian dishes. I was staying in a hotel just up the street and happened upon this restaurant by chance. Definitely in the hole and the wall category… I ordered the meatball calzone and really liked it. It was really just meatballs and cheese wrapped in folded dough, so a little different version of a calzone that I am used to in the south. Great tasting marinara on the side. The staff had some trouble checking out and allowing me pay for my order, and because of the wait, they gave me the food for free. I thought that was a nice gesture.

Food was average. I ordered the penne a la vodka. All I tasted was the pasta, the sauce was plenty but it was like it wasn’t even there! I had to add Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper and let it sit over night to soak it all up just to get any flavor out of the sauce. Not all that impressed with the sauce and since they specialize in Italian food, that is a bit concerning!

Been living in FiDi almost 2 years and never saw this spot before. Great two-slice special and a med drink(no refills) for $ 5.50. Crust is yummy! I went in the evening when it seemed slow, but looks like plenty of space, clean, good service, and the A/C works! Even open til 10pm so I’ll definitely be back again and again.

Liberatos Pizza is great for pizza or sandwiches! I highly recommend for lunch or a snack. Usually super busy around 12pm-2pm, so any other reviews saying«it was too busy»…that’s why, it’s lunch time, just like any other pizzeria in NYC. Prices are fair, once again, it’s in the city, so it’s not«cheap». Best place to get lunch if you’re a student at Pace University. Rosella’s may be on the way to school, but you won’t be disappointed if you walk a little to Liberatos. I highly recommend their garlic knots, simply the best in downtown Manhattan. I searched far and wide all over to find the best, and cheapest garlic knots.(Great for vegetarians!) You get 4 knots with marinara sauce(don’t forget to ask if they don’t package it, cause sometimes they forget). Overall, this place is the«go to» for downtown Manhattan pizza.

this is the absolute worst restaurant in nyc. we waited over 2 hours for the pizza to be delivered, and everyone at the restaurant was extremely unhelpful. the food is crap and this is NOT worth ever ordering from.

Mediocre… Not terrible, not great, it’s a work a day stop that you might grab a slice… 12 inch pie for 10 bucks you get what you pay for…

Awesome parmiagana subs and made-while-you-wait pasta dishes. Quintessential NY-style pizza — not world-beating, but very good. Reasonable prices. The food tastes like a Romano’s Macaroni Grill. What do you want? You’re in the Financial District looking for lunch under $ 10, for god’s sake.

Love love love this pizza place! It’s right down the street from where I work when I’m in NYC for business trips. Compared to some of the pricier sandwich places around it’s a nice alternative. They always have a good variety of pies, as well as great calzones. Speedy service is also a plus!

A friend and I came here today. She apparently has been here many times before since it is right downstairs from her office. We had a slice each of the veggie deluxe, which is my name for the slice with peppers, onions, mushrooms and spinach. We also each had a slice with pepperoni. My friend wanted water but their soda fountain doesn’t have that so they gave her tap water and let her put ice in it. The slices were not heavy on the cheese or the sauce. It had a good firm crust. With some red pepper flakes, both slices were delicious.

For every New Yorker, there’s always a pizza joint down the block from your apt. My sister just moved to the Financial District and this place is now the closest pizza place. To be honest, I’d rather not eat from there again. Perhaps because I’ve been spoiled by Roma’s for so long, but I mean, it does the trick for drunken munchies so I guess I can’t really complain. The slices were whatever but eatable.(And I have to say the liter of oil that poured down my slice and onto my lap when I picked it up was not appetizing nor appreciated) Why give this place two stars instead of three? They gypped me on the marinara sauce for my garlic knots. Who eats knots without the sauce?

All jokes aside, who are you fooling? I ordered the Neopolitan Pizza from Liberatos today. The description of the pizza contained one item that made me select it over all else… «Buffalo Mozzarella»… As I received the pizza, I noticed that the Mozzarella had the physical appearance of Buffalo Mozzerella. This enticed my appetite further. At first bite, I was sadly disappointed by the fact that the Mozzarella used in the application was not that of Buffalo, but of regular Fresh Mozzarella!!! I think the average unknowing person buying this pizza might think your little deception scheme maybe be the greatest invention since sliced bread but you’re not getting this past me!!! Not to mention, the lack of sauce used in your application made the pizza tasteless! The contrast between the hard crust and burnt /dried tomato sauce and mozzarella made this dish unappealing! One saving grace, the crust was perfectly cooked, but the hinderance caused by the sauce and cheese made this unappealing! If I order from Liberatos again(that’s a big IF), I’ll make sure to stick to the salads…
