They were parked somewhere on Houston in front of Mario’s Pizza. You can follow them on Twitter at @hrtschallenger. After a quick browse of their flavors and a quick chat with the girl inside the little truck, I bought a Ramune(your favorite fizzy Japanese soda with a marble button)-flavored pop for 2 – 3 $. Its a splurge and a sticky bugger to deal with so get some extra napkins and enjoy it on a hot day… or night.

I’m a sucker for sweets, but I’m not a sucker for the BS of this sweet little truck. Kim R and I walked by the Heartschallenger truck last week, and we wanted to give this truck a shot. We both thought that the truck would have unique treats from hard to find companies, or even homemade. Instead its just a little truck selling grocery store(Whole Foods) bought ice cream, extremely overpriced. I asked for their lemon Popsicle, and ironically, I had the SAME thing in my fridge. GAGAPOPS. $ 2.50 or 2 for $ 4 right now on SALE at Whole Foods. Heartschallenger tried to charge me $ 2.50PER pop. Keep in mind. GAGA box comes with 5… geez. Like I said. I won’t be a sucker. Not even in NYC!

This is great, these guys sell imported ice cream from all over the world and drive around in a little truck. The products are good, priced well, and the whole experience of buying from them is memorable. I ran into them on Bedford Ave in Brooklyn
