This is a great little deli. I had a ham, capicola, and provolone and it was excellent. The guys running the place were very friendly too! And only 5 bucks for a whole hoagie!

THISPLACEISGREAT … a real New York workingman’s Deli for takeout coffee and SANDWICHES that make a superior quick LUNCH the OLDFASHIONEDWAY. SINGH(the Owner) is a super guy and the man making the sandwiches is a COUNTERCULTUREGENIUS. Try the Pepper Mill Turkey onna Roll with Honey Mustard, Lettuce and a large Coffee. EVERYONE who works on this BUSY block hits this place coupla times a day so … GETINLINE. After me!

This place may seem like a dirty deli, but the A on the window begs to differ. Turkey, ham and swiss on a whole wheat roll with lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and mustard yumm. For only $ 4! You can’t beat that in this area, especially with the shady delis everywhere that don’t display prices so they can rip you off and you end up paying 15 bucks for crappy food. Their coffee is great too, my office gets it every morning. It’s tiny, and there’s only two guys working there so it’s slower than the typical rip-you-off delis, but it’s well worth it for generous portions and cheap eats. Props to the guy making the sandwiches b/c he can memorize exactly what everyone wants and knock out 3 – 4 sandwiches before taking the next order.

When you first step inside you’ll question my sanity for giving them 4 stars, but you’ll quickly learn that the food is great and great value and their ice coffee might be some of the best in the city. And yes, I know what that sentence sounds like. Go There. Try It.

Here’s what it’s not. It’s not fancy. Just a simple spot. It ain’t big. In fact if you get 10 people at the same time, it starts feeling right tight up in there. In my opinion, it’s not really even a Deli. Well, not in the traditional sense, more so a tiny bodega, but if they want to call it a Deli, far be if from me to make a fuss. Because here’s what it is. It’s my train is late so as I get to street level I can call ahead and they will cook my favorite breakfast sandwich or platter quick, fast and in a hurry. So when I arrive it and my hot chocolate are ready to roll, all I have to do is hand over my coins, get my bag and bounce. It is that DAMN! It’s too cold to be messing around outside, so Im’a tip to the spiz-ot and get me a hero. And towards the end of the day when I feel that Itis kickin in, I can quick step down and get coffee or a cold drink to help fight it off. It’s Clean, Close and Convenient, which is exactly what I need it to be. Oh and one other thing… it’s tame price wise. Done

If you ever step into this place, you’d probably think I’m crazy for giving it 4 stars. But if you look at the menu and the prices, you might reconsider. I can pick up a decent Italian sub for $ 3.50. Any place that can get me full, the good kind where you’re happy, for under $ 4 deserves some props. Way to make up for my low NY salary!
