I used to shop in this store when I lived in NYC in the late 1990’s. I forgot all about it until I was in SOHO this past weekend. What a joy. Terrific shoes, clean lines, great selection and great staff!

The only reason I put this as a 2 is they have great shoes.
My wife bought a pair of leather boots there for $ 600. She tried on many pairs and wasn’t sure so the sales associate said she could buy them, bring them home and then return them if she changed her mind.
2 days later she changed her mind and returned them (did not wear them at all). Turns out the store policy is exchange only, which they did not mention. When we spoke with the manager, he pointed to the receipt which states «Exchange Only» (that your receive AFTER the sales is complete) and then pointed to small 4“x6″ plaque on the wall with illegible font that stated their policy. he said if we would have asked, they would have told us their policy.
Complete useless and unwilling to help us. Nice boots, but will never buy from there again.
