I’m not going to try to convince you that this is gourmet quality top shelf Chinese food. However I literally have tried about every Chinese restaurant in Manhattan and Jersey and can easily say this is «THEBEST» for the price point and quality. I often order your basics like beef w/broccoli or shredded beef szechuan style. I really like the wonton soup. The wonton are nice and firm with a tasty pork center. Also delivery is lightning quick, I often get my food about 15 minutes after I order it.

the prices are pretty reasonable(for manhattan), and i recommend the chicken broccoli with pork fried rice. I’ve also ordered the lo mein before, which wasnt that great, and the spring rolls, which were worse. overall the meal is pretty greasy, so make sure to ask for less oil.

The yelling lady is fantastic. So nice and loud. The General Tso’s Bean Curd is AWESOME. So good I haven’t been able to order anything else.

Traditional fast food Chinese food. Placed at incredible good location amongst all commercial building surrounding to it. Don’t think there’s another Chinese fast food restaurant nearby so it’s got all the orders. Food is phenomenal! Can’t believe the amount of high order value the restaurant gets every minute yet it managed to get an A grade. It’s got a dozen employees for this small Chinese fast food restaurant proves how good the food is and how popular it is.

This has got to be the worst of the worst places to order from. Person on the phone was rude and when I asked him why is he so angry he told me to just hurry up he has other calls. My order was for over a $ 100 as it was last night when I ordered for my company. We order from here quarterly but I think we need to find somewhere else.

King Wok is my neighborhood dream-come-true: a plebeian Chinese take-out of the ilk I used to enjoy in my South Brooklyn days: greasy, cheap, quick, and filling. When I want some heart-warming egg drop soup and colon-clogging deep-fried General Tso, I reach for the King Wok menu. Like a proper Chinese takeout, they don’t participate in such satanical innovations as Seamless, GrubHub, or Eat24. Instead, you’ll pick up the phone, dial one of the 212 numbers at the top, and give your address, #, and order to a super-efficient Chinese lady on the other end. 9 times out of 10, your food will be there in 30 minutes or less. Tip well, my friends, especially in crappy weather.

my review is based solely off the Broccoli in garlic sauce. This shit is good. For 6 bucks with a free drink and an amazing assortment of vegetables over brown rice. I mean… DAMN! I like good tasting food and I like to stick to healthier options too. At this price the world tries to sell subway to me and call that healthy but there’s no way that meat that travels 3 days to get in the fridge and bread that was made with preservatives a dash of wheat is going to stack up to fresh vegetables being sauteed in garlic and served alongside of brown rice. If you like this sort of combo, you have to go to this place. I would probably figure they do a good job with everything as well based on how good this is. For 6 bucks, it’s a no brainer.

Cheap and the portions are huge! Found this while wandering the village on New Years Eve. It’s a hole in the wall joint, but it’s delicious. Prices are great! Also, two of New York’s finest came in and picked up an order for their entire station, if they’re eating it, you know it’s good! :)

I ordered food for delivery at my job. I had the Sesame Chicken and it could have been better; it didn’t have the spice and it tasted rather bland. The price is fairly reasonable. Maybe I will try something else from there or try another restaurant.

The spareribs were pretty addictive. I finished the whole tub in a sitting and was stuffed afterwards. They have good brown rice too. Good for a post-workout meal.

My first Chinese food experience in New York City and it was amazing. Wonton soup and shrimp lo mein and both were delicious. Ordered at the counter and got it to go. Definitely had enough for leftovers but it was so yummy I ate it all! Can’t wait to go back and try more! Or better yet have them deliver to me!

This place is hands down one of the best Chinese places to eat. It’s PACKED during lunch and you still get in and out within ten minutes, and it’s super cheap. Love this place.

This place is chaos during lunch. There’s a mob inside and no one knows who’s ordered yet or waiting for a phone order. You have to push your way to the front and tell them your order number, hear the lady scream out your order, and wait on the side. The screaming lady makes it all worth it, by the way. Their General Tso’s is hella good. The only vegetables you get with that are 5+ red hot chilies and maybe some green onions, but they give you your money’s worth in chicken. My other go-to was their beef chow fun. It is the only beef chow fun worth getting in a 10 block radius. Are there even any other Chinese take-outs in the area? I’m not too sure what else is on the menu, but look at it. That list is crazy long. You’ll probably move out of NYC before you finish everything on that menu.

My friend called the order in. Since I work in the area I decided to pick it up. I walked in and saw a crowd of people. No line in particular and no type of order. Anarchy everywhere. Some heifers jumped in front of me and picked up their order. I asked was my order ready and I was asked for an order number. I didn’t know anything about this so I told her I had shrimp and broccoli but before I could even mention the shrimp and green beans she jumped to the next customer. So you refuse to give me my food because I don’t have the order number? I guess it doesn’t matter seeing as if I would’ve left without it their trifling asses would’ve put it back in a pot to serve to some other sap. When my friend finally gave me the order number I decided to speak to another girl behind the counter. I told her the number and do you know what she did? She read my order back to me. If you’re aware of the contents of the order why couldn’t I have gotten my food when I was reading you my damn order? How many other people in the last twenty minutes placed the same exact order as me??? They gave us a grand total of two soy sauces and two duck sauces. The food was average.

It’s a tight Chinese joint, I always order chicken wing with white rice & sometime little container or broccoli, so good. I never miss their chili on hot oil, it’s also good, I always appreciate the guys coz it’s only $ 10& lots of food, better than greasy fries at least.

Solid option for Chinese American food. Good egg rolls(not drenched in grease), tender General Tso’s, decent Szechuan wontons. Skip the chili shrimp, it’s way too sweet. They can get confused on big orders and whoever is on the phone doesn’t always communicate clearly to the delivery person.

My company was working over at Pier 40 for several weeks and luckily for me I ran into this place early on. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Service is quick, prices are decent, staff is friendly & best of all food is great! What else can I say but give them a try & thank me later.

Only reason we went here was because hubby wanted Chinese vegetables & found it on Unilocal. It’s a small shop that makes food to order. Lunch special M-Sat 10:30−4pm purchases over $ 5.85 u can get FREE can of soda. B. ordered Suddist Delight(sic) — it was a stir-fry of mixed veggies. He got it without rice so just ate it all. I took a few bites & thought it was ok. Didn’t see any bathrooms.
