They make a delicious udon soup. The bubble tea is also very good. The sushi is standard, which is good considering the low price. If you intend to order for pickup you should know that the place looks a bit run down from the outside.

I ordered from the lunch special, spicy tuna, shrimp tempura and spicy salmon. The shrimp tempura wasnt bad; but everything else was. This is definitely mediocre sushi. Do not waste your time. The reason its getting two stars is because the miso soup was decent and so was the delivery time.

First time and I love it. Called ahead and picked my order in 10 minutes. It was very good. Good prices. I’ll be back.

I enjoy the lunch specials especially the Salmon teriyaki bento box. There is a huge portion of food for a reasonable price. The staff is always nice and the service is good here as well.

Recently ordered delivery. Upon opening bag belatedly realized had ordered from Lemon Life about 1 year ago and food had been awful in the very same way. Everything tainted, off, and tasting like prep area unclean.(Even salad leaves were weirdly scary in flavor.) ‘Sushi’ bears faint resemblance to that category. Picture a toddler trying to duplicate the appearance from a photo — using play dough and cat litter.

The worst shrimp tempura I have ever tasted and something about the sushi that made it not satisfying

It used to be a nice and clean place when it first opened six or seven years ago. My friends and I would stop here to eat cheap sushi and bubble tea. Recently, my sister and I were too lazy to go to Coco and decided to stopped by since we were in the area and boy has it changed! It looks dirty and broken down. They lack good customer service, we asked to see the difference between a small and large cup for bubble tea and the lady simply pointed at the stacked cups. She took such a long time to make 4 bubble teas we regret not going to Coco. I would skip this place at all costs. Ordered pomegranate green tea and it was too sweet.

As far as Sushi in East Harlem goes, Lemon Life is second only to Charlie’s Place(up by 125th and Madison). Really great lunch specials, tasty rolls, and quick service.

The biggest mistake I have ever made was ordering from here. I woke up, a tad hungover after birthday celebrations, and was craving bubble tea. The only place near me that delivered such a thing was Lemon Life. They also delivered sushi… so I thought… «why not?!» Yeah. Stupid, stupid move. I have never been sick from sushi til now. The bubble tea, however, was not bad. But the sushi itself tasted old and looked like someone who didn’t give a damn prepared it. I stopped eating pretty quickly into it, but still felt the effects. Clearly another year older did not make me another year wiser. Never again Lemon Life. Never again.

Mediocre sushi and sashimi, however, the prices are reasonable so I guess I should not expect too much. The interior is really run down and beat up. I kept expecting a roach to crawl out as I waited for my order. They do have an «A» rating, however, so that does mitigate to some degree. The guy who makes the sushi is really pleasant and I like talking with him. The cashier doesn’t talk much, not much eye contact, but pleasant enough. The low prices keep me coming back for more, and since I really really really like East Asian and South East Asian cuisine, this place will get a lot of my business.

The best sushi in my Area. I live 2 blocks from lemon life and I’m lucky they have the best roll in east Harlem. The Ocean Roll is by the best roll they have on the menu. It’s to perfection that roll. The service is great and delivery is fast too. Love this place.

Absolutely love their California rolls and the fact that i get them delivered at work in an expedited time frame and their prices are great. Really surprised the place is so tiny they should really expand.

This is a cute little hole-in-the-wall sushi place that offers reasonably good sushi at really fair prices. The restaurant itself isn’t really much of a «restaurant,» but really is a tiny space that seems to cater more for delivery and take-out. The people who work there are friendly and the interior is clean, but looks like it hasn’t been update or cared for in a while, or… ever. If you want sushi on the go, this is a great choice, but if you want some ambience — or really, any ambiance — you probably won’t be happy here.

Favorite lunch spot in the neighborhood. Staff is nice, and helpful. They make your food fresh, so it can take some time to get your order. Good lunch deals through 4pm. Cash only(and not many banks nearby) so be prepared. Very minimal seating; clearly intended for takeout, but there’s space to sit while you wait. I like the salmon lunch special, or vegetarian /fish sushi rolls best.

Everything I’ve ordered from them so fat has been awesome. I love their strawberry mango smoothies. And it makes me so very happy that they clean their shrimp

Extra star for sushi in Spanish Harlem. Food isn’t the best, sushi isn’t the freshest but for the price and the location.(on my block) I’ll buy it Bubble teas are amazing. Either way you can’t hate lemon life. It’s too fun. Lunch specials before 4! CASHONLY

I feel like the sushi and bubble teas should be rated separately. The sushi here is cheap and one of the few sushi places in the area. They specialize in a number of platters as well, which are perfect for small groups. It all seems to be decent quality typical of takeout places. Pretty trustworthy, but it ain’t no Nobu. However, the bubble tea here is a huge disappointment. Everything is mixed from sugary powders, and the only way I can get a somewhat drinkable order is if I tell them I don’t want any sugar added(which actually translates into an adequate amount of sweetness). Service also leaves a lot to be desired, but what can you expect?
