This is a convenient place to stop for a casual bite and to get out of the cold. They offer a variety of salads made to order, soups and sandwiches with interesting combinations. The coffee is hot and the service is friendly. Sometimes the wait for your food can be long, especially during lunch time. They have several locations but I only tried the Lenwich on Columbus Ave in the Upper West Side.

The nicest employees, all fresh ingredients, and prepared quickly. All you could want in a sandwich shop! I’m there almost daily and have never had any issues with service or food quality.

Amazing food … breakfast, lunch, hot food, salads. ALL excellent. Lenny and his brother Brian have made a chain to be proud of.

This is a nice a nice spot for a quick fresh sandwich, soup or salad. It all counter service. They have a pretty big sandwich menu with three roll options. I personally like the Kaiser rolls. I had the tuna fish sandwich. It’s not a large amount of tuna, unlike most local delis. The tuna is all white meat and fresh. The person I went with ordered the corned beef and turkey special. I tried his and got a big piece of fatty grizzle from the corned beef. I wouldn’t recommend the corned beef, but the turkey was good. For two sandwiches, two bags of chips and two drinks it came to about $ 25. If you’re looking for a quick, easy lunch I recommend this spot. For the most part any of their options are good and they keep the customers moving.

Probably the best Lenny’s spot in Manhattan. Sandwiches are fresh and juicy, chips are crispy and golden, salads are rich and yummy. The service can be slow.

Good Cobb salad! A bit noisy, but worth the chance to sit alone and enjoy a meal after a hard day’s work.

I had the tuna on spinach wrap which I added pickles to. Who would have thought that the alfalfa sprouts would work with tuna. So yummy and plenty of food to serve for dinner and next days lunch!

My favorite place to grab a sandwich or salad. Great lunch. Great prices. Recommend it to everyone.

Overpriced and unsanitary. You can get a better tasting salad with fresher ingredients for the same price at Chop’t(about $ 10 – 12), plus the guy who makes the salads is always wiping his sweaty face with his gloved hands — the same hands he uses to put the ingredients into your salad bowl. I also found a hair in my salad once. Lovely.

I love this deli. It’s clean and they are super nice at the cashier. I always get the garden salad with jake and it is very generous for 7 bucks. Love to see outdoor in a he warm days.

I’m new to Lenny’s and didn’t know exactly what to expect. Walked into to find a very clean and orderly kitchen wear the make the food in front of you. I wanted the breakfast burritos, but they weren’t on the main menu. Had to ask the employees that take the order to get pointed to the separate menu for the breakfast burritos. There were a few options that seemed pretty good and I ordered a few different types for my friends and myself. They weren’t the classic Mexican style breakfast burritos, but were good nonetheless, and relatively cheap at $ 5/ea. Would come again.

$ 9(after tax) for tunafish salad on white bread? Look, the sandwiches here are all really good. but THEY’RESANDWICHES. The thing this place is doing wrong is the regular-bread sandwich pricing. for only about $ 1 more, they offer the same sandwich on a hero. which is nearly double the amount of food. It makes more sense to get the hero every time regardless how hungry you are, because regular sandwiches are such a rip-off. strangely, you can get a breakfast platter here of 2 eggs, meat, potatoes, and toast for only $ 5.50. who is pricing this stuff? very strange.

This was pretty good for a chain. The food was tasty, made to order food with lots if good suggestions and fresh ingredients. I did have a fruit cup however that had less than fresh fruit in it. Wasn’t impressed with that.

Was in the area looking for a quick lunch. There was a shake shack down the street but it was packed so walked a few more blocks down. Glad I did. Found Lenny’s. It looked busy but the ordering line moved quick. Since it was lunch rush I think they had the A squad making salads and sandwiches. I had the #1 Lenny’s. I forget what was in it but it was delicious. Nice hot sandwich perfectly made. Nothing fell out of the sandwich, impressive. Overall I thought it was a nice sandwich. I’d return to try their other stuff. It was a bit hot inside. Overall clean place, nice workers, and bathroom was pretty clean for being a single.

For being a chain, Lenny’s has done a remarkable job of maintaining its identify and still offering high quality deli options. The first thing you notice when walking into Lenny’s is the sheer size of their menu. I’m convinced they can reasonably offer you any type of permutation of a sandwich or salad. They even have every bread option to fit your appetite or mood and they’re all good. My personal favorite is the H1, which is basically thanksgiving dinner stuffed into a sandwich. Somehow they manage to use gravy to top off all that turkey, stuffing, and cranberry without once making the entire sandwich soggy. I know I should try other things here, and I have, but I always come back to this sandwich. One day I’ll might even try out the salad bar which looks fresh, and delicious judging by the various ones I see people making. If you happen to walk by this location or any others across the city, don’t be afraid of the unknown. The food you’ll get here will rival almost any of your favorite small shops.

Lenny’s used to be a favorite, then about a year ago they«got new management» and the place hasn’t been the same. We used to order delivery from here all the time online. The food would(1) take forever to the point where we’d call and(2) when it finally arrived it would be undercooked/wrong food/missing ingredients. We called and complained the first few times. Then we called«corporate» to complain. NOTHING has changed. You should eat somewhere else in the neighborhood.

I went to this Lenny’s because i always go to Lenny’s at Rockefeller center. I ordered a cobb salad! I was the only person ordering a salad at the moment cause there was only four people there. I was waiting for 15mins, then i noticed that three people just designed there own salad and my salad is a Lenny special(cobb salad) but it was yet to be given to me! So I go to the counter and ask whats going on! Salad was never made, so i waited till it was made another 5mins! On top of all of that the container they usually use to serve the salad was finished! So it had to be divided into two containers!!! So as i walked out i noticed that there was none of the ingredients such as chicken, dressing and avocado!!! It was the worst experience ever… he tried to force me to take it! I denied and asked for my money back! But he only gave the money for the salad a forced me to pay for my drink!!! To top it all off i was in. 30 min break!!! I didnt eat at all!!! Thanks lennys!!! I wish there was something that could be done! But i am just a consumer who was given yet another bad experience… i will just join the list!

We were heading for a day in central park combined with a visit to the MET and popped into Lenny’s to get drinks, simple enough. We bought a few bottled drinks, a sandwich, small iced tea and a large iced tea which we asked to be split into 2 small cups so 2 people could share it. Simple enough, 1 small iced tea for one person. And one large iced tea split into two cups so 2 people shared it. The cashier was pleasant and said its absolutely okay to split the large iced tea as long as we paid $.50 for another cup. Sounds good. Well not according to the lady making the drinks. She was extremely rude and gave us one small one instead of the large iced tea split between 2 cups! We brought it up to her and she proclaimed that it’s absolutely fine and to be happy since she only charged us for a small iced tea… but I wanted a large?! We leave and I decide that we definitely overpaid, I looked at the receipt and we had been double charged for a vitamin water we hadn’t bought. I came back in and the worker was even ruder. Between rolling her eyes and being snappy, I decided never again am I stepping foot in this chain. PS: Sandwich wasn’t that good either.

A decent sandwich place with many locations all over town serves sandwiches, salads and not much else. A work lunch place for sure, a 8−9″ hero will run you pretty close to 8 bucks. They have many, many options – if you can’t find something here, you’re probably not trying hard enough. I was a little disheartened to discover that croissants were no longer available — this was a favorite of mine back in the day. Never mind, for a ‘reliable’ sandwich product all over town, Lenny’s is a good choice. But it’s a takeout sort of spot. I will say, they have a sort of insane way of ordering that seems to be as much their fault as the crowd’s… As far as I can figure you’re supposed to order at the register and hang out until your order is called, pay, and then be on your merry way. Two trips to the counter. Order. Pay and pick up. Somehow, the locals cannot understand this, despite several large signs. It then becomes order, loiter, pay, loiter, pester, loiter, pick up food. If you follow the prescribed method there’s simply a massive to cut through who are all milling about believing sandwiches are created instantaneously at the push of a button on a touchscreen. If it were that easy, why would I need sandwich places?
