I was walking around the west village looking for a store just like this, with beautiful objets and gifts. Unfortunately they did not quite have what I needed, but the gentleman working there was incredibly helpful and friendly, showing me every possibility, and in the end directed me to an amazing store across the street (!) that specialized in my desired type of item and which I hadn’t come upon yet. So now I have two new stores bookmarked for future purchases — both fabulous, with lovely, helpful people working there. And there was a really cute dog at LEO — hi Benji! :) I look forward to my next visit.

I love this store! I found it by accident and they had some great cast iron bowls that I had been trying to source off the internet for months. I could also have bought many other items while I was there — so many interesting and beautiful pieces.

If you want to find an outstanding gift for a special occasion – or no reason at all – Leo Design offers an amazing array of antiques, jewelry, picture frames, boxes, vases, paperweights (featuring many animals) and more. They offer copper vases of all sizes that can’t be found anywhere else. The store is cluttered with amazing things of all prices (mainly middle to higher end) and if you have an unruly child, oversized backpack or an unruly partner, please leave them outside or at the door! Inside, you’ll find two gentlemen with a wide knowledge of antiques and a wonderfully patient and generous manner. Perfect for wedding and anniversary gifts that will be of use and stand out for their beauty!

Great selection of antiques! Wonderfully displayed, by colors and styles. I have worked for auctioneers in New Hampshire for years. I was amazed at the value in NYC for impeccable antiques. I found a great Fulper vase at a very reasonable price. The gentleman who helped me was very kind and we had a great time talking antiques. Very knowledgeable and personable! Great experience!
