As a student for the past 13 years, training with Sifu Chen has physically and mentally lifted me throughout my life. This school teaches the TRUE meaning of Kung Fu and it’s good, hard, fun amongst a very supportive and awesome group of people.

I found myself at Sifu Chen’s school after years of hopping around for a legitimate knowledgeable teacher. This isn’t a place for lazy people. You need to be very self motivated to push yourself and to take what Sifu Chen has to offer. He has a wealth of knowledge where I’ve found that my only limitation here was that I wasn’t practicing and pushing myself enough. From what I have learned here, I see and practice martial arts differently. The Liuhe Ziranmen style is very unique but very practical. My body mechanics work better and I’m not as stiff compared to other styles I had practiced in years prior. If you are a serious martial artist you can push yourself to another level with Sifu Chen with what he knows.
Wendell is also a great teacher for the children’s wushu. He’ll teach your children discipline and respect. If you can’t do aerial, well Wendell can and he’s 50.

I had been very fortunate to have been introduced to Sifu Chen school 15 years ago by a friend. I had been learning Wushu informally for 2 years from two friends after meeting them both in a traditional Kung Fu school. I was mesmerized by the fluid yet staccato like movements of Wushu that is beautiful yet based on true martial fighting foundations. In the years of practice with SIfu Chen, I’ve learned to enjoy each movement, have a better understanding of my physical body as it relates to each movement, and understand where the power for each movement originates. Sifu Chen’s also has an incredible ability to come up with individualized forms that suits each student and remember them all even when you’ve forgotten! You can feel his enthusiasm and joy of movement when he demonstrates. He truly enjoys students that has the same love of movement and Wushu!
Wushu skill is acquired through time and practice and is by no means easy! However the pain and difficulty that you go through in learning the basics, make the accomplishment of any small skill that much more satisfying!
I would recommend Sifu Chen’s School to anyone who is looking to learn a martial art that requires time, effort and discipline from a Master of Movement!
Sifu Chen also offers private one on one instruction of Tai Chi, Chi Gong, and Liuhe Ziramen. He is even better one on one. He give so much information that your head almost explodes with those invaluable nuggets of wisdom not only in movement but how it relates to living a good life!

This is a great place to learn contemporary Wushu! This is what Jet Li does and it’s a great skill to develop. You can learn how to defend yourself as well. Sifu Chen Ying is very patient, knowledgeable, and über skilled. He can teach Wushu to all kinds of students, from beginners to pros.
