The only fresh brewed coffee you will find in this area of town. You would never know it was a coffee spot if not for the super small sign way below eye level. This was a true Unilocal find. Coffee was on point. Irving Farms apparently somewhere in NY is the roaster. I was hoping for a latte but they do not have an espresso machine.

Stopped by this place on a whim on my way to grab some dumplings. The owner helped me make a decision about what I wanted to drink with ease and we made pleasant conversation while he made my drink. Super great guy. If I had a bike, I would definitely trust him with repairing it. The drink was above-average and well priced. Dark chocolate hot chocolate with no whipped cream. He even asked me how sweet I wanted it, so it was customizable. Overall, great experience. Great place to pop in for a quick drink.

Great place and great guy!!! I went there because I had a flat tire and he didn’t only fix it quickly and cheaply but he also help us solve some issues with my girlfriend’s bike at almost no cost. I asked him about buying a new bike and he was really helpful recommending me to not waste my money in some of the most expensive models and offering to help me making the decision. Overall, I think I’ll go back anytime I have an issue with my bike even though I don’t live in the neighborhood.

I had a serendipitous breakdown in front of OTB. Qian expertly replaced my cracked flywheel, made some adjustments and got my bike humming again. He is as nice as he is knowledgeable, and clearly a neighborhood favorite with several locals stopping in to say hi in the short time I was there. He knows what he’s doing, carries a small but useful inventory of gear and offered the type of advice that only comes from years of experience. I highly recommend their services and look forward to stopping in for a cup of coffee some time soon.

It’s always a quick and painless trip when I stop in here for a quick repair or recalibration or whatever the case may be for my bike. The owner is a knowledgeable and friendly guy and the his prices are borderline too friendly at times, but much, much appreciated. He’s probably the epitome of what one would want a small business owner to look like. He works quickly and does a pretty thorough job. This place is perfectly convenient being just«off the bridge» bike path. It’s easy to limp on over after crossing the bridge and get the service that you need to before being on your way. Also this place is a little café as well. I plan to have a drink the next time I stop in there. Additionally, the prices for bike features and accessories seem to be a bit more reasonable than other shops in the area.

My new favourite go-to spot ! Very welcoming and insightful. Q shared his experience with me, and offered really great advice. Def a great spot if you’re coming«off the bridge» and want to stop by for repairs or a quick drink !

The owner, Qian(hope I’m spelling it right! Pronounce chee-aun) is a really nice, down-to-earth guy. Knowledgeable and passionate about bikes. I went in looking to fit a bike rack onto the back of my old Peugeot, and he set me up with a solution that was better and cheaper than another shop I had been to earlier. All with a smile! Off the Bridge has my business even if it’s out of the way. As far as bike shops go, customer service wins over all else, and this is the place to go if you want a bike shop that will treat you right. Qian is still running the show alone(as others have pointed out) but he mentioned that starting next week he’s hiring a wingman, so he won’t be bouncing back and forth between bikes and coffee ;)

Came over the bridge really wanting something cold to drink, but feeling too lazy to lock up my bike, and thought I’d stop in here since I could bring my bike in with me. The guy running the place was super nice but chill so I ended up asking some bike questions while he made my coffee. Ended up with an excellent iced coffee and a new handle-bar-raiser-thingy. Very cool.

Awesome shop. Great idea to fuse a coffee joint with a bike repair bike. Very reasonable prices for repairs, lights, and other accessories. Coffee is from some boutique roasting company upstate and is dope. Good music and the chill customers that tend to come in give it a nice vibe, and Q the owner operator is super friendly and just a great guy. I’ve got a schwin from the 70s, which is a steel tank and needs some upkeep, and Q has my business.

Their coffee beans are over roasted and/or stale which makes for a bitter tasting ice coffee. For $ 4, I would expect a better prepared ice coffee. It tasted similar to deli coffee, which is also half the price. Bike repair right next to a major commuter bike lane is pretty smart, although their signage and atmosphere seem aggressively disconnected from the Chinese-run businesses surrounding it which provide both English and Mandarin signage.

Just what you need when you discover a screw in your tire in the middle of the bridge! Friendly and effective service for bike repairs. Get a better sign though, I assumed it was only a coffee shop at first.

Needed to fix a flat so I stopped in here. The dude running the shop is super nice. He’s running the show by himself right now, so he was jumping back and forth, but I didn’t mind. I don’t drink coffee, but he’s serving Irving Farm, if I remember correctly. He seemed super knowledgable and fixed my flat in a jiff, and for a reasonable price. I’ll definitely be back.

Had a flat right before the Manhattan Bridge. I walked in to the Bike/Coffee shop, was greeted by a very friendly man that was very knowledgeable in all things bike related. He asked me if he could serve a coffee customer in between fixing my bike, for now its a one man band. Greatly located off the bridge, and open at 8am! Great for a early morning commute fix.

Great customer service, I walked in after getting a flat and he helped me very quickly. Super kind, knowledgeable, and then I got some iced cold brew coffee to go! Win win. Affordable and will go back!

An interesting concept of using all of one’s space productively. The owner who introduced himself but whose name I have forgotten is running both the bike shop and coffee shop(which are about 6 feet from each other!). I have not had a bike repaired here and he did not have the obscure part for a Zephyl double barrel pump that I was looking for, nor did I try the coffee, so this review is really for the place’s friendliness and concept!

Inside this shop, there is a bike repair section shared in this space. As informed by the employee, this coffee joint has been open for only 13 days… I needed a quick pick me up for a stressful long day and the coffee got me wired. I got exactly what I came for. I got the large cold brew coffee which already has espresso shots mixed in for $ 4. There was no half and half but whole milk. soy and almond milk. The guy helping me was very nice. Its location is convenient for me so I’d definitely be coming by and supporting this local coffee shop!
