Live in Stuyvesant Town Went in around 7:00 pm and bought a cheese danish and a cinnamon pastry. The bill was $ 6.40. They were both STALE.

So I Ordered from grubhub their Wisconsin cheddar burger. YUCK!!! It was just really bad. The bread was hard, the «lettuce was a large piece that doesn’t belong in salads, the burger overcooked and had no taste, and the cheese was so nasty. Just nasty and had this nasty curdling look. $ 15 for this crap. So disappointed and frustrated. I kept it because I was annoyed and hungry and didn’t even want to deal. I doubt I’ll order from here again.

The brunch special was over priced. I got the omelet with avocado, turkey, and swiss. I specifically asked for it to be slightly runny and it came so dry I had trouble swallowing at points. There was also absolutely no spice/​flavour to it, I needed to douse it in hot sauce to get any semblance of flavour. The home fries were similarly not spectacular and arrived cold. They brought my friend the wrong toast and his steak wasn’t cooked enough either (he asked for well done and got medium.) the waitress was very nice though and attentive, checking in on us often. It was super busy and that may be why!

The worst service in my life. I wasn’t able to even speak to a decent worker and I never even received my food. They gave me a difficult time and were rude to me. They even hung up the phone before I can even finish explaining my order or anything. Refused to give me a discount or refund for the order I already paid for. I don’t know who the hell works here but the service is poor and the people are unhappy, rude, and straight up mean. They were no help to me and I do not plan on ever ordering food from here again. If the environment of these people is a reflection of the food then it must all be complete shit. Save your money kids!

I got a breakfast special (before 11am): Challah french toast, fresh squeezed oj and coffee.
It doesn’t look like much but it is filling.
The syrup was so thick I kept having to pour more over it (and I’m not a big syrup person!). The toast was moist but still a bit tasteless even with my constant syrup pouring. I did not expect my challah to look like thick, sliced bread, but it was good nevertheless.
The oj was good.
Service was quick.

They have gluten free pancakes and waffles!!! Last night was the first time I had ever gone. Open 24 hours so it’s great for that late night fill up after a night out. I was so happy as a celiac to be able to eat though. And those banana pancakes were so freaking good!

I love this place — a wonderful spot to grab late night munchies before you get on the L Train. The mozzarella sticks are superb, the staff is nice, and they whip up food incredibly fast. Coffee shop 4 lyfe!

Love this place. Why? It does the basic diner things right. The food comes out quick, the staff is indifferent but nice, and the menu has 3 too many pages… Loves it. Delivery is quick, though I order from my buddies place which is across the street. Favorites are the chicken caesar wrap, gyro wrap, matzoh ball soup and (an absolutely humongous) garden salad. Though pricey (for a diner), it’s a good option when you don’t feel like cooking or you need some late night soup and a burger delivered to your face.
Bonus: Open 24hrs

Several excuses were given when I kept calling to follow up on my order, and one was that I was too far when their shop is just 7 blocks away from me on the same avenue.

the two is for the service. absolutely terrible. i’ve gone there multiple times — just to pick up food or late night… every single time, service is just terrible. food is actually really really good diner food. (which is why i continue to go, but it’s also convenient to where i’m located)
went there on saturday night around 3am, ordered our food. they forgot half of it, they didnt come to take our order for at least 30 minutes and then when we finally did order, we were almost sleeping on the table since it was an additional 45 mins.
all in all — grilled cheese, fries, mac and cheese, all good — but try not to go when it’s too busy.

They need to update this place. Seating has duck tape on it. They are a couple dollars too expensive. The omelette I had was good but the potatoes must of been cut from raw potatoes which is not a bad thing but the pieces were so big and chunky and parts were really soft while others were not.

This place always rips me off on deliveries. Last night I ordered a sandwich over the phone. Carefully reading the menu item and price to the old guy on the phone. I was using their own website menu for the item and price. I clarified at the end the price, and he said ok.
Guess what? It was more then $ 4 more when delivered. I called up while the delivery guy was at my door, he said the website was old and nothing he could do. Same guy I spoke with before.
I really was hungry and wanted the sandwich, unfortunately I paid. Guess what? THEY FORGOT THE BACON TOO. I’m done with this place. I imagine they’ll lose their lease like every crap shop in town and it will be a Starbucks soon.

What a pleasant little spot! I went in for a simple muffin with orange juice — to my surprise, it was so much more than that!
I ordered your standard blueberry muffin — what they did next really made the difference. The waitress cut the muffin in half and toasted it. It was amazing, they served it on a plate with butter and jelly. Now, I can never have a muffin without making it this way.

As far as other foods, I wouldn’t know but if you want a muffin, this is the place to be.

Typical low quality diner. I ordered a breakfast meal, swiss cheese omlet with bacon & homefries. I got an omelet with the wrong cheese and because my bacon was not part of the meal I got charged an extra $ 5.45 for some overcooked bacon. The water tasted horrible so ask for bottled water.

Hole in the wall diner in the neighborhood that is open 24 hours a day and seven days a week. The menu is quite extensive everything from breakfast all day to dinner and sandwiches and burgers. The corned beef in the Ruben was delish, however it wasn’t executives very well. The bread was so greasy I couldn’t pick it up so I just ate some of the inside wit a fork. On our second visit I got smart and ordered breakfast, corned beef hash and eggs. Much better choice!

The smallest, coziest, little dinner on 14th street. The portions are perfect and the service is typical. This was my final meal destination before surgery and I didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day. Omelette, home fries, French toast, orange juice, what more could your ask for? I’ll be back soon some coffee and another buffet feast! Lol
They could clean up a little better, but overall I love it.
