I had just gotten a job in Manhattan after 33 years in the real world and having someone as knowledgeable and energetic as Andre made what could have been a traumatic and painful experience into an enjoyable (ish) experience (the man can only do so much). Was very quick to respond to my texts and emails and actually showed me only properties that fit the description and price range of what I was looking for. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a place in Manhattan.

Francisco Fisher is an incredible realtor to work with. He’s so knowledgable about the city and dedicated to finding exactly what you want in an apartment. He really listened to our concerns about budget and worked hard to making our ideal apartment a reality. He constantly sent us new apartments, floor plans and pictures. It’s like his mind never stops thinking of new and better options for what you want. We ended up changing circumstances and not renting but I have no doubt in my mind he would have found us the perfect place, he never gives up on you. I would recommend Francisco to anybody.

Dale Arant is the best broker that I’ve met. He was kind, professional, honest and willing to help me to find the best apartment. If I have a chance to move again, I will definitely call him.

Nash was fantastic. He was quick to answer my call and took me to view apartments the very same day. He was patient as I decided on a place. Nash was great at following up with me and was helpful in finding new tenants for my old apartment. I would recommend working with Nash.

Joshua Rodriguez is hands down THE BEST broker in the city. Here is the reason why:
1. He is on your side, fighting together with you to get that dream apartment with the best price. This is important and it actually makes a difference. I negotiated with landlord for a lower rent, Joshua helped me out finding ways to cut the price lower.
2. He listens carefully to the client, carefully select all the apartments meet the requirements, and knows how to plan the route smartly. After telling him the features I want and my budget, Joshua searched for all the availables, eventually found 10, called to book appointments and planned our route well so we don’t need to waste time and energy to go back and forth.
3. He is a very patient and easy going person. I was tired of speaking to snobbish brokers in the city, or those who promised to call back but never did. Finally I met Joshua, he is genuinely a very kind and patient person. While I was being indecisive, he patiently waited and offer honest and helpful suggestions.
4. He respond quickly to msg, emails and phone calls. Efficiency is the key!
After a week’s hard work together, I finally nailed down my dream apartment. Would never get it without Joshua’s help!

Jamie Fields with Manhattan Realty Group is an unbelievable broker and person. She was trusting, professional, and transparent throughout the entire process with my roomate and I, who both moved from out of state. After meeting with another broker who would not listen and was showing us things out of our price range and in undesirable locations– Jamie was able to work with our price range and find us something we are unbelievably happy with.
I would recommend Jamie to any person looking for a place to live in New York City. The Manhattan Realty Group team is a well oiled machine, and Jamie is a perfect representation of their professional and kind nature. I am elated with the results of my experience. The fast paced nature of this market can be stressful, but Jamie kept things wrapped tight and was able to help us in our time of need.

Jamie was my broker, but Drew was the one that first met up with me and showed me a handful of really nice studio apartments. Both of them were more than friendly and incredibly professional throughout the process.
I was a bit discouraged when my application wasn’t accepted for my first choice of an apartment, since I was already on route home to a different city, which is quite a distance away. Although, Jamie didn’t give up; she found me this great studio in UES. I was pretty bummed that I didn’t get to see it during my visit, so Jamie visited the apartment and facetimed me and took several videos to show me the surrounding neighborhood, the lobby of the building, and the inside of the apartment. The application process went really smooth for this apartment.

I had the worst experience with Nate Grossnass. He was unprofessional, disrespectful and outright rude. First, when I contacted him via a on-​line NO FEE listing in Gramercy, he said that that particular unit was now unavailable, but that he had a bigger/​better unit in the same neighborhood in the same price point. I agreed to see it. The unit was great, but when we asked about a fee, he told us it was 1 month. Later that day I looked up the building to try to find reviews from other tenants on what it was like to live there, that’s when I saw that the building was a no fee building, all you had to do was call the management company to schedule a viewing with the super/​landlord. We were still looking at other apartments, but when Nate kept pestering us about the unit, we finally told him that we saw it was a no fee building. He then went on a rant via text message, saying rude and sarcastic things, and telling us he has now blacklisted us with the rest of his brokerage and the building management company. My favorite… «not to be rude, but I am going to make sure nobody from my office works with you as you don’t respect what we do»… Failed attempt of «not to be rude».
Also, the original apartment I inquired about, which Nate said was off the market, is STILL posted on Renthop and Streeteasy.,… I have read that many brokers post false listings to lure in clients, and then show them a different/​fee apartment.
Isn’t the CLIENT, supposed to feel respected and taken care of? Not the case here…
STAY AWAY.

Our search for a two bedroom apartment in Midtown West was looking bleak. Until Shragi introduced my roomate and I to the Upper East Side. He negotiated the price in order to fit our budget and prepped our applicaions and lease terms all in one day. He answered all our questions and worked out all our issues, finding us an apartment and completing the lease signing all in one day. My top recommendation for a broker in Manhattan is Shragi, he was honest and straigh forward with us throughout the whole process and quickly negotiated an incredible deal!

Ronni is one of the most patient and creative agents that I’ve met. She has great ideas about how to use space and she really knows her market!

No stars, if I could. The usual gig of an appointment being cancelled at the last minute because an application has been submitted. Then, of course, there are other apartments to look at after you answer a few questions. Then the yada, yada, yada claptrap about how hot the market is– «out of my control.» It is like a script. Nash Benaim of Manhattan Realty Group is right on script.

Joshua Rodriguez at MRG is everything a real estate agent in NYC should be. Attentive, communicative, and honest!
After a horrifying experience with Citi Habitats left us in a bind, we contacted Joshua to help us find an apartment in less than a week. He listened carefully to what we were looking for and didn’t waste our time showing us anything that wouldn’t work. My family and I took a while discussing the different options Joshua showed us, and he was incredibly patient with us while we debated.
We will definitely contact Joshua the next time we need an apartment in NYC!

Ask for Ronni — She is patient and full of insight. The team has a pretty good inventory of apartments. We ended up with a really high quality unit within our original budget. Ronni and team really work for their money. It’s the first time I’ve ever felt like a broker actually provided a service worth paying for. Ronni also suggested good doctors in the area — can’t beat that!

Francisco was an INCREDIBLE broker. I’d never done apartment hunting before, so I came into the process pretty uneducated — and as a result, likely easy to take advantage of. But throughout the process, Francisco made it very clear that if I told him everything we were looking for and our price range, he’d show me spaces perfect for our criterion.
He set up several viewings, and as we viewed, he developed a stronger idea of exactly what we were looking for. Sure enough, the place he had been saying he thought would be perfect for us ended up being, well, perfect for us! He sat with us through the meeting with the property management, and even helped us get a cheaper deal so that we could afford the building’s fitness center.
Overall, fantastic experience. Really suggest working with this group.

Found an apartment on naked apartments that looked nice and I had several agents reach out to me about showing it but Alma from MRG gave me a great vibe from the start. She was upfront and honest about everything and she worked for every penny of her very reasonable broker’s fee. She also had many amazingly spacious and affordable places to show me. Next time I look for a new apartment in the city I will go straight to Alma and not even bother searching through a million real estate websites!

Great experience with Zary — was very helpful and frank with answering all of our questions.

Zary is THE BEST broker. This was my first experience with apartment hunting in the city and Zary made the process a breeze. I think we felt instantly at ease with her, and none of the listings she showed us disappointed. She knew exactly what we wanted and I really felt like she was the most informed broker we dealt with. She was also the most accessible and reliable– answering calls, texts, and emails right away.
Even through some issues with our application process, Zary was great at thinking on her feet and jumped through hoops to make sure we got the apartment we wanted. Her and the whole team at Manhattan Realty work well together to get the job done. I could not have had a better experience and would highly recommend her to anyone.

My partner and I worked with Eli to rent our apartment in the UES. We met with Eli after a handful of sketchy and unpleasant experiences with other local brokers and management companies. What a difference! Eli is experienced, knowledgeable, and doesn’t waste anyone’s time. After showing us a few places that were a bit out of our price-​range, he knew exactly what we were looking for and delivered on it the very next day. Our application and rental process was very smooth, and lacking in stress — something that is certainly atypical around here. Would definitely recommend Eli (and the rest of his team, if they share his professionalism and knowledge) to anyone looking for a broker and tired of the NYC nonsense.

I never use real estate Brokers but I had such a great experience working with Erez that I had to write my first Unilocal review about it!
Erez sincerely listened to our needs and suggested precisely the type of rental apts we were looking for. He was honest and flexible with us throughout, communicating every detail we would have overlooked on our own. He was always on time and very quick to respond to texts, emails and phone calls. His colleagues also seemed very professional. I wouldn’t use another Broker.
