The Quick: fantastic delivery experience. On time (even little early) plus the food was hot, and delicious. Overall a great pizza spot.
The Details: Ordering food for a work event always gives me anxiety. Luckily, Guiseppe took away the stress and left me with delicious food to impress my clients. The pizza was fantastic, very large and flavorful, classic New York style. The only pie we didn’t love was the veggie because it had mostly broccoli and mushrooms. That being said, I will absolutely order from them again.
The Damage: 5 pies (3 speciality pies) and a family style salad with fresh mozzarella ~ $ 165. Wasn’t the cheapest pizza but the slices were filling and delicious. Worth it!

I like the pizza and would have given this place a better rating, but the people who work here seem to be pissed off all of the time. Given that’s it’s a small pizzeria with low expectations as far as service is concerned, it’s has still been well below expectations. I don’t need them to be happy-go-lucky, but at least wipe the ever present scowl off your faces and pretend you like your job.

I feel kind of dirty writing this review — I’m a Royal Pizza loyalist, but my boss was buying, so who was I to say no?
Delivery at lunch hour was something like 30 – 40 minutes, not bad for peak time. Delivery guy was your standard issue, nothing too friendly but he delivered right to me and managed not to drop my pizza, so I’m satisfied.
Pizza itself was a decent size for $ 21 (half pep half plain), at least for Murray Hill. In Brooklyn, I’d be offended at such a price point, but again, my boss was buying. The slice itself was acceptable, but the operating word here was GREASE. And I don’t mean the charming-with-disturbing-subtext musical, I mean there was grease just all over my mouth and hands when I was through. I don’t deny it was tasty, but it’s tough to enjoy your meal when you can feel it bringing you closer to the grave.

Buffalo chicken pizza was terrible. Zero flavor and when I added red pepper flakes, turns out they had zero taste as well. Skip this place and move on.

If you look at the review from Ngoc H. below mine, I had the exact same experience. My order was due to arrive at 8:10 — 8:20. I called at 8:50 to make sure it was on it’s way, but was put on hold for several minutes, and had to call back to get an answer and an apology. I was told my order was the next to be delivered. After thinking that I would receive my food in 10 – 15 minutes (because most places are sympathetic and try to keep their customers happy after screwing up), I received my meal at 9:30. I wasn’t even hungry, so now I’ll be having it for lunch. Hoping it’s good, because their customer service sucks.

Terrible customer service. I ordered on seamless and after an hour and a half of waiting (delivery window being 45 minutes) we had to call them to ask when we will receive our order. They were rude on the phone and did not give any explanations other than that our order was next to leave for delivery. I don’t usually give such poor reviews but customer service is important and they were unapologetic and surly.

Great pizza, and the super slice is the way to go! The crust has a nice crunch and nice seating area. Just sit iway in the back, nice and cool! Good New York pizza and slices are huge!!! Starts to get crowded at lunch but atmosphere is laid back! Would definitely return!

Okay pizza. Work ordered a bunch of pies, different varieties but mostly plain. The plain pies had nearly had the cheese slide on one side of the pizza leaving the other half cheeseless. Womp womp. The pizza itself had good flavorful sauce, but the crust was a little soggy and not crisp. The slices with cheese on them were pretty good

Every bit as good as billed, even right before closing. Big slice of pepperoni and mushroom plus a medium root beer was $ 5.50. A slice of heaven worth every cent.

The pizza — while not fresh, isn’t too bad. Maybe a b-. Possibly even a b+. However I have such a bad taste in my mouth from the service. It’s rude, discourteous, unwelcoming, and generally bad. If you’re looking for good pizza in this neighborhood, my first piece of advice would be to stop looking, and go to another neighborhood. My second piece of advice would be to try a different pizzeria, you deserve to be treated better when you’re spending your hard-earned money

Omg my fiancé and I stayed around the corner and we literally had at least 2 slices of pizza a day! We were on vacation so we could ;) the White pizza was my favourite but can’t go past a good old plain cheese!

I ordered at 6pm on a Sunday nigh and waited 1 hour and 45 minutesI live 3 blocks away. I called 3 times and was told each time that the delivery guy «just left». I will obviously next order from here again.

My new favorite nyc pizza. So fresh, and great quality ingredients you can seriously taste the difference! Get the margarita pizza for sure– the little drizzle of olive oil just put it over the top. 4 slices and 2 waters for $ 18 you can’t beat that for a late lunch for two. Pass by all the others and hit this spot!

It’s not the best pizza ever, but not the worst either. The pizza here will satisfy your craving though! The slices are huge. And when you order they put your slice (s) back into the oven to warm up. The pizza is also pretty oily; drenched in oil depending on which one.

In my search for excellent pizza, in particular an amazing slice of buffalo chicken pizza, Unilocal led me to Giuseppe’s. I purchased two slices, and sadly threw away most of one of them.
Their «Spicy Buffalo Chicken» pizza had no spice or heat to it whatsoever – biggest downvote of all right there. The chicken tasted and looked a bit off and under-cooked, there was about twice the necessary amount of cheese which would have overshadowed any hot sauce had there been any present, and the grease stained through several napkins as well as both paper plates I was given.
Bottom line, I was unimpressed with pizza quality and the buffalo chicken slice was a letdown considering other reviews.

You are near Times Square. You are near Grand Central. You are walking by on your way to somewhere in midtown and are starving. This is what Giuseppe’s caters to. This isn’t a destination stop for authentic NY pizza. This is pizza, down and dirty — sparse and uninviting interior, staff that could care less about you but still churn out decent pizza — ok maybe it is NY pizza, just not great NY pizza.
If you take a short trip through the reviews, almost every person who describes this as «true NY pizza» is not from NY. Although I live in NJ now, I grew up in Brooklyn and while this pizza is clearly pizza in NY, it is neither a fair representation of NY pizza as a whole or exceptional in any way. It is a decent slice of pizza in Manhattan, no more, no less. If you need a quick slice, you will be ok with slipping into Giuseppe’s. If you want the best NY pizza, read more reviews and get the hell out of midtown.

Amazing! I ordered their cheese pizza to our hotel and they were fast and efficient. Plus the pizza was HUGE. Each slice was bigger than my hand. I hate it when there isn’t enough sauce on my pizza but they had the perfect amount. Also, the garlic knots were delicious! This place is worth the price… And it’s cheaper than most that we found.
I have never been to their actual location but their delivery was fast, price just right and food delicious!
