The plants are mediocre, but the customer service was great — so for that reason I’ll give them a 4. As soon as we started looking at the plants outside the shop someone came to assist us. We had a woman who was very knowledgeable and helpful — you can tell that she knew what she was talking about. We got a jasmine that’s already not in the best condition, and it’s only been a couple of days. My advice: don’t get a plant that’s been sitting outside the store. I’m no botanist, but these extreme temperatures can’t be good for the plants (unless it’s a cactus). The ones sitting outside looked scorched.

Went here to buy two new braided «money trees» (Pachira Aquatica) for my apartment. The florist was very helpful and quickly chose the healthiest trees she had. Very quick, painless and efficient service — I’d definitely go back for future plants

My boyfriend sent me flowers for valentine day. It arrived 5 days later. The roses were very old, they basically torn off all the old petals so there’s 35% of petals of what’s supposed to be originally. I would never recommend their service to anyone.

This is a small flower shop. They usually have a lot of plants placed outside of the sidewalk. When I walk pass by, it may get a little overwhelming with plants in the way and tourist walking by and with locals standing in front of the shop looking at the flowers.
Two staffs, I dealt with was pleasantly nice and helpful! I had brought plants and flowers from here a few times. They also have a good insect killer, but they are always low on stock somehow. They need to order more!
I have gotten a flower bouquet delivered to me from here ;) and I have ordered a flower bouquet to be sent out. When I placed an order on a flower, I have showed them a picture on something I wanted and they suggested something similar which was still pretty. The price was reasonable and they had delivery. I have asked for a delivery time and it got there roughly 30 minutes earlier then expected. Their time was very prompted.

I have gone here now a number of times looking for flowers and flowering plants as gifts and each time have found something great. The staff here is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Finally, for the quality of plant you are getting here the prices are extremely competitive, making this florist hard to beat.

This is the first time i’m writing a review, so bare with my my fellow Unilocalers.
I discovered this store from a last minute birthday bouquet hunt. Naturally I had no idea what to get, the shop keepers where very helpful in picking out the flowers with me. They gave suggestions, showed me samples of different arrangements. And was being very helpful and sincere with all of my questions. You know it’s a nice bouquet when multiple random strangers ask «are those for me?»
Another thing to note was the wrapping on the flowers, not too much, not too little, my favorite is the really nice bow to top the whole thing off.
Defiantly recommend the place, they know what they are doing!

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR VALENTINES DAY!!!
So here I am ordering flowers for v-​day thinking it was going to be all good, and… THEY NEVER DELIVERED THE FLOWERS!!! AND I never got a call afterwards apologizing, nor did I receive an email notifying me they didn’t deliver the flowers!!! The worst customer service, I called and emailed back 100 times and never got an answer, NADA! Absolutely ruined my Valentine’s Day, I will never come back even if you paid me $ 100 and threw in a few hot dogs from Nathan’s.

Went here to get a flowers for my one year anniversary and it exceeded all my expectations. The attention put into the arrangement and the wrapping itself blew my mind. Several people commented how beautiful they were, but most importantly my girlfriend loves the flower! Thanks again!

Excellent place, the person working there was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He also arranged my bouquet with great care and thoughtfulness. Will definitely come back in the future for flowers and plants.

Consistently great floral arrangements, family from out of state used to rely on big chain florists to deliver flowers to us during the holidays, they were always pedestrian and substandard. We ended up just telling our relatives to STOP using the big chains and just call Susan — ever since then our floral arrangements from family and friends have been GREAT!
Susan is also a GREAT asset to Chinatown since she keeps abreast of news and takes and ACTIVE role in her community despite not living in Chinatown, that’s reason enough to go to her, and NOT to a national chain.

I used them for my wedding at Cipriani on 8÷8÷08 and I was so so happy. I had been a bit worried after reading the last review, but everything was flawless and the flowers were GORGEOUS, very good quality. I had these super tall vases with calla lily arrangements which people LOVED, but the cocktail table flowers and the bouquets were equally nice. Susan and her team really outdid themselves. I would recommend them to anyone. Their prices are very reasonable and the quality of their flowers is very good. People thought that we spent A LOT more than we did. I think out of all the vendors we used, this one surpassed my expectations the most. Thank you!

I was torn between giving this place 2 or 3 but thinking back to what happened on my wedding day, I relented and decide to give it a 2.
After searching at least 8 different florists between Flushing and Ctown, I decided to go with Manhattan Florist mainly b/​c Susan spoke perfect English and really seemed like she had an eye for design.
You’ll probably save a bit of money by getting your flowers here compared to other florists in Manhattan but if cost is your # 1 factor, then I would go with other chinese florists as their prices were alot more competitive (plus they charge tax here which is uncommon for chinese florists).
Anyways, so we had discussed getting calalily arrangements for my bridal bouqet. I really wanted calalillies and that’s all I ask about when I was shopping around. Susan was extremely thorough and even put something together for visualization which none of the other florists had done.
So what happens on the morning of the BIG DAY when my BIL picked up the flowers back to my apt? No calalillies! It was the only thing I looked for and nowhere to be found. The flowers still look gorgeous but still. I had made that my # 1 requirement and paid a bundle for it! I was stressed out as it is and what she offered was to knock off a small portion of the bill. I was ok with that b/​c what else can I do? Of course at the end of the day, it wouldn’t have mattered as much but still. still. still.
Lesson learned — always call the week before to confirm your order. But who knew! It was all written down on the invoice. :-/​

Cons: did not deliver what I had asked for (otherwise I would have given this place 4 stars).

i used to work here!!! ok… well i worked here for one day. i hate this place they worked me to the bone. after one day i couldnt take it anymore and never again will i work at another florist.

I was a bridesmaid for my friend, who got her bouquets from this place. The prices were very reasonable and the flowers were beautiful. Don’t let the Chinatown location fool you, the staff speaks English and everyone who works there is very friendly and accommodating.

It’s a really nice little shop with flowers displayed all over on the outside. So as you walk by, it’s like walking through a little garden. Their flowers, small pots, tall plants, whatever you may, are slightly overpriced than some other stores. But I would like to say that it’s totally worth it. The flowers there really are gorgeous. They also have nice paper to wrap it in. You could never go wrong buying flowers and plants here. I recommend.
