Marc Sclafani, DDS

If you’re fortunate enough to have Dr. Sclafani work his magic on your mouth then not a soul will know that you’ve had dental work done. Trust me he is that good!
I’ve needed massive amounts of reconstructive work done and I trust no one else. I make the trek from Connecticut to see Dr. Sclafani (and only him) and worry that when I leave the area I’ll need to take flights back to NYC just for him. Not only is he a technical genius but he is as kind as he is talented. If you’re lucky enough to have him be your DDS you’re guaranteed top-​notch work that will look natural.
I never comment on other people’s reviews but I really question the one negative here because it doesn’t represent the way he operates. He’s fair and very reasonable. I have a hard time believing that he would not honor a commitment. His office is always packed with people eager to see him. I’ve been a patient for close to 15 years. I adore him!

Stay away from this dentist. He caused severe TMJ. He was not around to resolve the problem and he said he was going to adjust the bill for this poor work and service. It’s seven months later, and this crook has not returned my money. No practice should be run this way!

I have been going to Dr. Sclafani for years, he’s not only patient but also informative, I am a little apprehensive when it comes to dentist’s but I always feel at ease. He’s worth the price and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. He’s always looking for the best solution to my dental issues not just the ones that are easiest to him but the ones that benefit me the most. I enjoy seeing Reva as well for my cleanings, she is by far the most talented hygienist in NYC.

I am a fairly new patient to Dr. Sclafani. I went in for a cleaning and needed a few caps done because my old dentist did really large fillings. His entire office staff were pleasant, polite, and helpful. He did 3 crowns for me and they all are wonderful. I love the way they look and feel. I recommend him and his office to all of my friends and family. I am a true believer of you get what you payed for, although more expensive than my old dentist, it was more than worth every penny.

I have been seeing Dr. Sclafani for numerous years now, and I am always extremely pleased with my visits. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. He takes the extra time to make me feel comfortable, considering he is working on my teeth which is uncomfortable. I have slight TMJ so he is extra delicate when it comes to that. I have sent several of my friends here and they have all been satisfied. I would definitely recommend this dental practice.

I have been going to Dr. Sclafani for several years and have found his professional opinions, and technique excellent. He is caring and attentive. Last year he came in to the office on a holiday to take care of me. He is willing to take the extra time to do a first class job. His price may be high (overlooking Fifth Avenue what would you expect) but where he did a crown which later had to be removed he gave me credit for the payment. He has on a number of occasions had me wait for treatment until the nature of the problem became clearer. So I could not ask for more in a dentist. His office staff is charming and friendly. Dental work is never fun, but this one deserves confidence.
