Such a nice place! The staff is very friendly and take care of you. A little pricey ($ 80 for cut and flat iron) but what part of Manhattan isn’t? Got my hair done by Kelly and she did a phenomenal job at taming my very frizzy curly hair into a very smooth straight appearance and she’s a very friendly person so it made the time there much more enjoyable. Can’t wait to go back!

I’m absolutely in love with this place! Not your average overcrowded salon. It’s got a clean and chic look and the service is great! Ask for Laurie. She’s been cutting my hair for years. :)

My new go to place to get my hair done and get my hair/​skin/​nail care essentials. Lori is awesome! She is so friendly but more importantly she does a great job. I’ve gone to her three times now and I will never go to anyone else! She is also Cezanne certified if you are looking for a formaldahyde-​free treatment. They also sell a bunch of different haircare lines as well as makeup and make up tools, even fun wigs! I love this place!

I happened to walk by one day and discovered the front of the store has products for sale and in the back they have a salon. They do blow outs Thurs-​Sundays. I got my hair done by Laurie who was great! I have long curly hair. She was quick, very professional and I walked out with beautiful hair. I asked for a straight haired look and came out with a sleek shiny blow out.

This review is mostly about Gina – the hairstylist. She is absolutely amazing! I spoke with someone over the phone about a week and a half ago and they recommended I come and have a quick consult with Gina after work. We met and discuses what I was looking to do — purple on the bottom of my hair and a trim. Since I already have highlights from the last 8 years of dying it, I wasn’t sure how to accomplish this, since I wanted the purple to start about shoulder length. I have very long hair, which can be difficult to find someone willing to deal with it as well. She recommended just adding a bit of toner to the top to even it out and she would do an ombré into the dark purple. When I returned for my appointment, we went over everything again and she did a strand test on my hair before bleaching it, with a very highlighted section. Then she went to work. From the moment I walked in I had been offered water and chocolate (multiple times). By the time we started getting into the toner I was offered some wine – score!!! After she finished the first round of color, I was a little nervous because she hadn’t been able to find the purple she had wanted to use, so she had mixed magenta and blue. To make the purple darker, it had to have more blue in it. I was hoping the second round of coloring would help, but it wasn’t quite right. She picked up on the fact I wasn’t really happy immediately and told me they had ordered the purple online and that I could come back in the next few days and she would redo it – no charge! She tried so hard to make this what I wanted that one of the other employees went to a nearby Ricky’s to see if they had it. We were in luck! She did another process and this time I could just tell it was exactly what I wanted. I have never spent 4 hours in a salon, but it was worth every minute and I couldn’t be happier!!! She even showed me a few tricks for my hair and I was gifted a few small items as well. I’m so happy I waited to have someone like Gina do my hair, because it’s beautiful and she wasn’t happy until it was just what I wanted. If you need a new hair dresser — come to Gina! You won’t be disappointed.
