Megan Nordle Figure Skating

Megan is a very special skating coach and off-​ice trainer. She has a rare ability to gel with both young children (including my own) and adults.
Megan is fast becoming one of the most popular coaches at our rink (Chelsea Piers) due to her warm, caring personality and willingness to go the extra mile in supporting her students’ progress. Megan is so genuinely supportive and encouraging, both in person and electronically. She brightens up a room and always manages to turn my frown upside-​down.
I appreciate that she is a very active coach when it comes to demonstrating moves (rather than being stationary as some coaches are) and she also performs in shows, which is very inspirational.
I love that Megan is also my height! Her physique is athletic and her ballet background is truly evident in her skating.
I started off in an adult group class with Megan as our coach and then chose Megan as my personal coach, on and off the ice, as did a number of others in our class. I have had several coaches before in this country and elsewhere. Megan is my favourite by far and I can’t imagine a better coach for me. I can’t imagine skating without Megan…

Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better coach to introduce me to figure skating for my 3^rd first time (I’ve tried on and off over the course of 10 years, to very little success)… Sure, she was encouraging and professional, all good coaches are. The difference with Megan was that she was GENUINE and INSPIRATIONAL. Because she cared, it made me care. And that made all the difference.
