Came here because I wanted to monogram a notebook for my friend. the moment I received the monogrammed notebook — LETTERINGSPACINGTERRIBLE. MONOGRAMNOTEVENSTRAIGHT. What the hell. Why did I spend money on this shit? They need a new monogrammer, pronto. I’ve lost faith in the world because someone can’t even get a simple action like this done correctly.

Really unimpressed with the layout and execution here, so save your time and money and buy their excellent products on Amazon. Between this and Papyrus and the countless other indie stationery shops nearby, I just don’t understand the business model of such high retail rent for the concept.

How does a modern chain retail store not accept returns? Absolutely ridiculous. I asked when purchasing what their return policy was, and was told to just keep the receipt. I came back the following week with the notebook still shrink-wrapped in plastic, and they refused to do a return. I told the cashier I had inquired about their return policy, and she just pointed to a scribbled post-it note on the side of the counter that said something in small print to support her argument. If a store is going to charge a premium for goods of average quality, they should at the very least deliver above average customer service. If you’re even considering buying one of their overpriced notebooks, do yourself a favor and buy it on Amazon for 20% less and give yourself the option to return it.
