Nancy Rosen, DMD

I have spent many days in a dentist’s chair. Growing up, I wore braces for 7 years, and I have family friends who are dentists. But I have never been to a dentist as unprofessional, careless, and cold as Dr. Rosen. I loved my smile when I began seeing her, and left her chair feeling insecure about my teeth.

I went to Dr. Rosen b/​c I really needed to see a dentist and I had read good reviews of her on Unilocal,but I was underwhlemed and I wouldn’t recommend her to others.
She didn’t do the cleaning herself, one of the hygenists did it and it really wasn’t done thoroughly at all. I also wasn’t happy that we spent less than 5 minutes face to face even though it didn’t seem like the office was busy.
I thought the atmosphere was a little to cutesy and borderline unprofessional. Everything was pink which was okay, (that’s the cutesy part) but then there were magazine articles that she was consulted for just plastering he walls. Some of the magazines covers were like Cosmo and I was forced to stare at ‘101 thing to do to his penis’ while I was getting my teeth cleaned.
Really?! No need for that in a patient care space…

Dr Rosen is great! I have recommended her to many friends and colleagues. I’m lucky enough to have never needed anything major done, but I certainly don’t dread seeing her for cleanings and xrays.

My husband has been going to her for 10 years — standard fillings and cleaning, removed molars and fixed a chipped tooth. In addition to being a professional and great at her job, she also knows how to make you feel comfortable. We would’ve kept going to her but she doesnt accept our new insurance. We’re actually having a hard time finding a replacement.
