Large portions and cooked very fast. Beef and broc was cooked fresh and not too greasy. The steamed dumplings were also really good and not too chewy. Decent prices for the city. We will order again when in the mood for Chinese take out!

Functional Chinese take-out in LES. Food is fine, portions are perhaps a bit better average. It essentially looks like the model all other Chinese take-out storefronts are based on, perhaps just a bit dirtier. But I don’t think this impacts the quality of what you get there.

Awesomely fast delivery on a very lazy Sunday. Good portions, great flavor, not too greasy. Will order again!

Not a place that I would come to alone, but when there are two of us the Double Dragon is the perfect spot. Two dragons, great food, what else could you want.

Just stumbled upon this place when I was in the mood for Chinese food at about 11:30pm. Got the Combination Lo Mein and the Four Seasons Chef Specialty. The latter was very good, the former excellent. The small portion size was more than enough for one(seemed like a regular portion anywhere else). And the prices were right, the counterperson friendly, and the wait time reasonable. Wish I had a place like this, esp. one open late, near where I live, New Orleans’ French Quarter.

Never again. Late delivery. Food tastes worst than that out of a frozen meal. It was soooo bland despite my request for spicy.

TERRIBLESERVICE! It doesn’t even deserve a star. My food came over 40 minutes late. I called the restaurant and the first time they told me to wait a couple of more minutes. The second time they hung up on me because I demanded a refund. On top of that the free soda they had promised for purchasing more than $ 20 was not included. When I told the delivery man he said that he would be back with it in 5 minutes and was not. When I called him after about 15 minutes he said he would bring it. He, of course, brought the wrong soda. The food was also really bad.

Decent Chinese food, if you are desperate for some Chinese take out and it is past 9pm, then I guess this place will suffice but the quality is pretty bad and the food isn’t all that cheap for take out. If you have better options, you should eat there unless like I said you are super desperate

What a great spot for cheap Chinese Food! I got a small wonton soup and smalk chicken and veggies for under $ 10. The chicken & veggies was yummy. Wonton soup was ok… broth was bland. Its more of a takeout place but still enjoyed eating there at one of the 3 tables. Heard about this spot through Unilocal

This place is exactly what I was looking for. I just wanted a special combination that gave me chicken, fried rice and an egg roll. Chicken and the egg roll were great! The fried rice was good too! Not the best I’ve had, but good enough. Unfortunately, they didn’t deliver to my location, but pickup was ready less than 25 minutes after I placed my order. I’ll definitely be making this my go-to place Chinese take-out downtown.

I will forever be grateful for this place. During hurricane Sandy, they didn’t raise the price on their food. They were kind and generous.

Let me make this review short and simple: FOODISHORRIBLE. Way pricier than other Chinese take out places in East Village. NEVERAGAIN. That’s all I gotta say.

When Double Dragon 2 The Revenge came out for Nintendo Entertainment System, it was a landmark title in the beat em up genre that propelled the way for Final Fight and Streets of Rage by Capcom and Sega respectively. It also helped create a sub-sector known as the button masher beat em up at the arcade which included titles such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Simpsons, X-Men and my favorite Captain America and the Avengers. The thing that set apart Double Dragon from its clones is that if you beat the game with the help from a friend, both of you would duke it out to win the affection of the damsel in distress. Imagine if Mario and Luigi had to fight over Princess Peach after tossing King Bowser? Unreal. Later, when the story of Billy and Jimmy Lee was cooling down in popularity, the developers at Rare had them team up with the Battletoads to take on the dark queen in what was dubbed at the time as «the ultimate team.» Battletoads was one of the best games for Nintendo and recently has taken on up some new found acclaim after the CEO of Groupon cited the game in his resignation e-mail or letter a few months ago. Needless to say, I came in with a lot of expectations associated with the Double Dragon moniker. Please add a star if you haven’t played the Double Dragon games or aren’t familiar with Battletoads. The pedigree was too strong and these guys couldn’t live up to my lofty expectations. Going over the food for a second, Everything was just ok but overly salty. I live just outside of Chinatown in the East Village, so I either have to accept there isn’t a go-to standard Chinese takeout restaurant in this area or hop the train downtown to greener pastures.

NDDII is where it’s at. This is NY Chinese take-out food period. Free cold noodles with $ 15 order! Veggie Mooshoo, Hot and Sour Soup, Steamed Tofu Mixed Vegetables w/Sauce on side… The usual. Fried stuff is good too. HUGEPORTIONS.

Food — 7⁄10 Service — 7⁄10 Atmosphere — 4⁄10 Typical Chinese-American fare at this small take-out restaurant. There are some small tables but few ever eat at this establishment. I live a few blocks from this place and I’ve constantly picked up CHEAP, LARGEPORTIONED plates of food. Lunch combos are especially generous. Recommend: Shrimp Egg Foo Young(lunch/dinner combo) Chicken Wings General Tso’s Chicken Do NOT Recommend: Chow Fun Lo Mein

It’s super typical cheap chinese takeout– and the whole situation is quite bittersweet. I love dumplings and live within a few minutes of both Prosperity and Vanessa’s… So a single $ 1 bill is my idea of proper dumpling currency. But this place has the best steamed shrimp dumplings ever… and the $ 5 price tag does not even make me flinch. They are soft, tender, thin skinned, hand pressed — with the perfect chopped shrimpy madness enclosed. Freakin lovely. Perfectly served with this delicious garlic, hot peppered dumpling sauce. I nearly drank the remaining sauce. They deserve 4 stars for one single delicacy: the steamed shrimp dumplings.
