My apologies to the UnilocalWold for taking so long to write my review regarding my Christmas Dinner experience. I was able to enjoy this meal with my family. I was definitely surprised to find how busy it was but even so the meal was absolutely INCREDIBLE and the service on point. My table enjoyed their meal and the Chef made an amazing wine recommendation. The ambiance is soo gorgeous/sexy/luminous! It definitely felt magical! This will be one of the most memorable meals I’ve ever had on Christmas! I recently went back for lunch in late January with a friend. I had the burger(BESTBURGERINALLOFNYC!!!) and my friend had the cacao e pepe. Both dishes were wonderful! However the service was a little slower. If you’re looking for a beautiful and delicious dining experience go to NOMO! It’s a gem in SoHo!

I loved everything about my experience at the NOMO Kitchen and will definitely be back. The ambiance is perfect. The service was great. The cocktails were so well crafted. The wine selection was wonderful. The food is delicious. It is a beautiful space too! I can’t say enough about it! It’s a hidden gem! Go for dinner: Try the Caccio e Pepe Spaghetti or the Fish Tacos — DELICIOUS Great for drinks: The cocktail selection is beautifully thought out and the staff is great at helping find the perfect cocktail for you! Wine is also GREAT. We had the Malbec and the Super Tuscan. Also, as an added plus, it is great for an afternoon escape: I went last week for a light lunch and coffee and it was the perfect environment to relax and get some work done.

Some of the best food I’ve had in NYC. Strong drinks go see a bartender named Freddy he’s great at what he does and easy to hold a conversation with. Absolutely have to try the fish tacos as well as the tuna tartare(best tuna tartare ever!!!) don’t be fooled by these negative post on here, I know good food and good drinks, period.

5 stars for the food. Absolutely delicious. Beautiful décor and ambiance. There were 8 of us and we finished every bite. Not a place to visit if you crave huge a huge portion, but the quality was superb. The service was extremely slow though, and it was a bit pricey. Once the food came out, magic!

I am so confused as to why this restaurant isn’t more popular or getting higher marks here on Unilocal.I had so many amazing meals during my most recent trip to NYC, including meals at Lupa, Blue Ribbon Sushi, David Burke Kitchen, and Totto Ramen just to name a few. The measuring bar was set pretty high, and still the meal I had here was easily the best one. I would even go so far as to say the pasta dish I had was the best pasta dish I have ever had– I mean ever in my life. Top notch. On top of the food being outstanding, the prices are also reasonable and the atmosphere is the perfect combination of romantic/intimate and cozy/comfortable. I was more than comfortable dining alone here. Back to the food. I started with the beets appetizer, which I had already had here earlier during my stay, and it was so good I came back to have it again a few nights later. My pasta dish though– the menu description doesn’t do it justice: «Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe House made pasta, poached egg, fennel pollen, cracked pepper» This was a buttery, comforting pasta dish that was rich in flavor without being overbearing or heavy. The poached egg takes it to a whole other level, and the cracked pepper comes through so perfectly. There’s also some sort of delicate crunchy things on top. I couldn’t figure out exactly what they were, but they added just the right amount of flavor and texture. This was one of those dishes where each flavor comes through loud and clear but all the flavors blended perfectly to create a tiny party in your mouth with each bite. It was so delicious that I couldn’t put my fork down to save room for dessert. It’s a shame too, because the Nutmeg Tapioca was definitely calling my name. Next time! Needless to say, this is a dish I could never recreate myself, so I’ll definitely be pining for it until my next trip to the city.

Soho Nomo kitchen is a great little hidden gem! The waiters/waitresses are attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The menu doesn’t have many choices, but what you have to pick from is unique and tasteful.

Way over priced even if it is New York Seating choices are a bar stool with padding Or a folding chair with wooden slats. Why does design have to sacrifice comfort ? Portion size is an appetizer no matter what course. And check your bill when splitting a check since their recommended tip is for the entire amount not your portion I’ve eaten here twice because it’s the hotel Restraunt but convenience is the only thing brining me back

Décor: Amazing, they kept the glassware from the previous restaurant and it feels airy but when it’s dimly lit, it looks gorgeous. Food was okay, presented beautifully but nothing more than that. The vanilla icecream is something magical though– I don’t know what they do to it but it’s much more than your regular vanilla icecream! Id come back for a drink and dessert, probably not dinner!

Ambiance is very romantic in the evenings. Love the glass ceiling, great lighting during lunch time. Service was good. I had to give only 3 stars for the food. It came out slow. Margarita pizza was good. Chicken lollipops not so fabulous! It’s literally 3 giant chicken legs. Might have been better as actual chunks of chicken on sticks. We ordered the steak and asked for med-rare, we got well done. Waited for corrected one and it came out after everyone finished eating! Plus it was med-well! Manager supposedly try to fix! Oh well.

I will not go here NOMO’. We sat at bar for 15 minutes waiting for service. Bulky bartender was checking his phone and chatting it up with other servers. Don’t think he even saw us leave. FOSHONOMO’ NOMO!

We reserved our table for two for thanksgiving dinner a few days in advance. Upon arrival everything was going well until our server started his service. He greeted us with menus and nothing further. When he came to ask us for our orders he interrupted conversation and wasn’t pleasant from that point forward. As we watched his service to others it was evidently different. Every new table got a «happy thanksgiving». He spent time smiling and chatting with the other tables. He checked in how they were doing nothing. None of this happened with us. He also removed our beverage that still had beverage in it asking if we wanted more. His service was very very antisocial and uninvolved. We felt as if he did not like us for some unknown issue. Max was by far the most unpleasant person to experience especially given the price of the meal. Now when it comes to the $ 95 prefixed 3 course thanksgiving menu — one word — disappointing! The appetizer was alright hey nothing amazing, the entrée was horrible. The plates seemed prepared in advance and warmed up yet not heated. The turkey was cold, felt if it was a frozen breast that was pre sliced and pre cooked elsewhere. It honestly felt like an overpriced TV dinner kind of chicken which is unfortunate. Having the chefs name on the menu makes it even worse as he came and greeted the table next to us yet never us as well. This was the poorest most expensive meal I have had in awhile that felt as if it was not freshly made. What a disappointing thanksgiving meal by a hotel restaurant that has rebranded itself from a group that has some great food options in other properties. I would not come back and feel robbed by the price for the quality of both the food and the service. Never again.

Ambiance: 5 stars Food: 3 stars Service: 4 stars Nomo Soho is the great place to catch up with your girlfriends. The restaurant is a part of the hotel and has a greenhouse vibe with high glass ceilings and glass chandeliers that decorate the space. The ambiance definitely makes this place worthwhile to check out, however the food was alright. The best dish on their brunch menu is definitely the baked lemon ricotta pancakes($ 17). They melted in my mouth and the pancakes were very moist and fluffy. My friend ordered an omelette($ 19) which was a very standard dish that was not particularly special. I ordered the oatmeal with dried cranberries and dried bananas($ 12) which were also just okay. The food was not the best and the menu lacked colorful options. That paired with the higher pricing of the food would probably not have me coming back any time soon. I really did enjoy the natural lighting in the restaurant, interior design, and the attentive staff.

This is the kind of place that spells«prix-fixe» «pre-fixe» on their menu, which should tell you plenty.

I’ll give it a 5 for décor and a 1 for bar service, drinks restaurant service and food… I guess that averages to 1 stars. The look is nice and interesting. Looks like a great place for a drink… if you ever get yours! I ordered 5 drinks and only received 2 right, 1 wrong and never got the other 2. I ordered a TEQUILA Gimlet with salt and got it with Vodka and no salt! He said the bar doesn’t have salt. The bartender totally left out my drink and my mother’s. In fact, I reminded him and he said it’s coming as he continued to make others drinks and take others orders. He totally forgot about us! Those in the larger group of us that got their drinks hardly had racing reviews. Hardly worth the money they charge. The birthday girl had to go complain to management before anything could even begin to be remedied. We had an 8 pm reservation and it’s past 9:30 and still haven’t been seated…10PM finally sat down. Service is super slow! Once it finally came. I wish I was still waiting. As my girlfriend said, «the food here sucked d!¢# «The best part of the meal was the soggy pizza by default. You can say the cake was, but we didn’t buy it there, so I don’t think that counts. We were a big group, here for my niece’s birthday. No one introduced themselves as our server or team of servers. I constantly had to call whoever would choose not to ignore the huge table in the middle if the room and hope my order would come. Serve time on drinks were about 12 minutes or more, if they came at all, which for my brother and I, it didn’t. I won’t be coming back! Btw… Beware, this place has a propensity to attract douchebags! Realize you will be paying for nice pictures and that’s about it. Don’t expect 5 star food or service. Spend $$$$ at your own risk!

I was there last Saturday for brunch. We couldn’t be seated in the main room as it was booked for an event, but the food was really good and very well presented. Not the best waiters, but I will go back!

I have to admit I was seduced by the airy atrium space at this Euro-trendy SoHo hotel. Greenhouse rooftop. Chandeliers(photo: ). A Chilhuly-like glass light fixture. This was so not the hotel I was staying at on my recent visit to Manhattan. It was way too fashion-forward, flip-my-disco for my proletarian taste and pocketbook but obviously not for the European tourists who thought nothing of the florescent pool wear they donned for their dining in here. I inadvertently seated myself next to a mouthy Swedish businessman who spoke at an especially high volume on his smartphone. I think he wanted to make sure everyone in the restaurant knew he was cutting the deal of the century. Needless to say, I moved as far away as I could from his Scandinavian highness. The big draw appeared to be the $ 23 Continental Breakfast Buffet, but I didn’t feel that ambitious. I decided to go for the $ 16 Baked Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, which honestly tasted more like a three-layer cake without frosting(photo: ). It came with a spoonful of macerated berries and candied Sicilian pistachios. For a breakfast dish, it was beyond excessive on the muchness scale. In hindsight, I probably should have gone for one of the $ 18 Build Your Own Omelets. I tried to temper the sweetness with a $ 9 side of Turkey Sausage, but I was rather appalled by the fact that I received two halved links for that exorbitant price(photo: ). With the Nordic baritone still bellowing in the background, the $ 6 glass of Orange Juice and $ 4 cup of coffee were doing little to improve my attitude(photo: ). Speaking of which, getting refills on the coffee turned out to be a non-starter as the staff spent most of the time huddled behind the bar. Oh well, it’s a pretty place anyway. FOOD — 3 stars… appears to be prepared for more decadent palates in mind AMBIANCE — 4 stars… pretty and spacious though loud voices do echo quite a bit SERVICE — 2.5 stars… mostly in hiding once the food was served TOTAL — 3 stars… pricey breakfasts for a Euro-trendy clientele

The food and service is amazing! I only come here during brunch because I’m in love with the pancakes. The ricotta pancakes are the best pancakes I have every had. The kale salad is simple but delicious. The steak is mouth watering. I love this place! One of my favorite restaurants in the city.

It was a delicious, albeit overpriced meal. Their wagyu burger was one of the tastier ones that I’ve had, although I think that they could have made it more flavorful. At least it left me feeling as refreshed as when I began eating it, unlike most burgers that make you feel heavy and slow. The herbed fries that they tout were crispy and salted just right. Really, if you come here, you’re not looking for large portions and a good deal; you come here for the ambience. And, I must admit that it was a lovely brunch that met all my expectations, though it did not exceed them. Final review: 4.25 stars for the overall experience.

They did not change this place at all after the new management. Good thing because the venue is beautiful with lovely chandeliers. The food we had for brunch was on point. Order the truffle flat bread, and definitely do not forget to order the pasta. Very unique. but we loved it.
