Chose this place on the fly however the pizza was amazing! The service was even better first time there and the guy cared enough to even ask me how we liked the pizza!

Best pizza in LES by far and likely the best in the city in general. All of the food is fresh and delicious. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Delivery is very good too.

I had a chicken sandwich delivered for dinner It arrived in good time Unfortunately, the chicken was hard, chewy and overdone Lousy consistency I’m quickly losing my desire to eat Nonna’s food The search for decent delivery food continues

Dee-licious, ordered for delivery, the pizza is really top notch, especially the sauce, loved the Capone and the classic slice with meat sauce. However, a bit on the pricey side for takeaway pizza, bought 4 slices, some mozzarella sticks and a bottle of Pepsi and it came to about $ 40.

Ask 10 New Yorker about their favourite pizza place and you get 10 different opinions for sure. So here’s mine: I really, really love this place. I order in usually and I’m sure that’s why I gained some weight. The pizza by the slice is amazing, you can choose from a lot of options. Nonna’s «Magic» Square Pie is a blast as well as the Bianco Pizza. One day I went crazy and decided to order gnocchi instead of pizza, I can only tell that this is something to avoid — it was absolutely soggy and just average tasting. Stick to the pizza and stay happy!

First time writing positive review, but ordered take out yesterday lasagna and stuffed shells… best i ever had. Prices decent for the taste. Buttered pieces of hero bread was great too. wish more bread, but exceptional. Never been to restaurant. review on take out. Easy online ordering connected via Unilocal.Went to Clinton pizza after Unilocal reviews prior and pizza was just ok. Thank god i skipped clinton pizza with not too many pasta options on their online ordering. They dont have lasagna nor stuffed shells, hence trying this gem of a take out restaurant. Hope for consistency second try and hope my review doesnt generate increase in cost. Thank you for your food quality yesterday.

On point Sicilian pizza. The ingredients are truly quality and they have a great variety of slices! My favorite is the tartufo, which has mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, truffle oil, and parmesan cheese. Highly recommend this place.

I ordered delivery from Nonna’s recently. I take delivery taste with a grain of salt as weather conditions and traveling with food can leave food much less tasty then when it left the restaurant but this was pretty ridiculous. My calzone was visibly burnt… BLACK in many places actually. The Parmesan that was used to perhaps cover up the black spots tasted like it had gone bad. When I’m spending $ 14 on a calzone, even just delivery, I expect it to be edible at the very least and this one was not. One bite tasted like a campfire. I will definitely never visit or order from here again, as anyone letting something this visibly burnt leave their restaurant for a customer is not paying any attention to food quality!

Truly the best pizza I’ve ever had. Hands down, no question, game over. The pancetta and grilled onion is the absolute best.

Three stars is the top here. Pizza is sitting out, cold, thin for Sicilian style, and over cooked. $ 5.40 for a slice of sausage, mushroom, and peppers which should’ve been $ 3. The $.99 pizza joint in the hood beats this place in raw taste and price. Not bad but nothing special. I’d go elsewhere.

Absolutely one of the best pizz!!! The cheese is made in house and the flavor is incomparable to 99% of the other pizza shops. I had down recommend this shop and feel free to try it all because all their pizza is absolutely amazing.

People there are excellent and very nice and the regular slice is AMAZING! compared to all the pizzarias ive had. Its super cheesy and the grease and ingredients might b the reason for it. Pizza slices with no grease on it just taste very poor and their sauce is unlike any other. I asked the man behind the counter making it and he tells me they actually cook the sauce before hand and season it which explains this amazing taste! The square slices with topping are obviously amazing too but I HIGHLYRECOMMEND trying their regular slice first. Its ADDICTING!

I’ve walked past this place numerous times before and I didn’t bother to step in until last week. My friend and I were looking for good pizza places in the Lower East Side and we decided upon this place. Upon walking in, we noticed the nostalgia of the store. It featured brick walls and old painting hanging on these walls. The lights were also slightly dimmed so I guess that added to the nostalgic vibe. My friend and I both wanted the Grandma slice but there was only one piece left on the counter. Luckily, the man at the counter was nice enough to cook up a new pie in the over. 10 minutes later, we both got our Grandma slices. I also settled for the grilled chicken slice while my friend settled for something else. Overall, I would he returning to this place. It’s not a bad place to have pizza and chill. Cut basil leaves, balsamic vinaigrette and mozzarella and finally sprinkled on your slice!

Very cute place right under to my apartment. I have a lot of pizza options living in the LES and just moved to the neighborhood so it’s quite nice to have this place just out of the convenience of it being there. The size of the place is deceiving from the outside and actually seats people. The pizza is really good and the staff is quick. Only downside is it’s a little pricey. However, it’s worth it because it tastes amazing.

This pizzeria is the nicest looking place on this sketchy block. There’s plenty of options from pasta to sandwiches to rolls, and even French fries. My friend and I paid $ 10 for 2 slices of cheese pizza(which were delicious) and French fries that were not good at all. They were super hot but tasted raw on the outside. How do you go wrong with french fries? *shrugs* P. S. Don’t turn off the lights to the bathroom; it will shut off the lights in the whole back area of the restaurant. I learned that the hard way. :)

Found this place by pure luck and omg amazing. First, I must say if you love Sicilian and crunchy, this place will be heaven. Atmosphere: Small, narrow, clean and simple. Service: Nothing out of this world but decent. Food: They have slices with every topping you can imagine. I had the spinach ricotta and omg it was juicy, crunchy and delicious; a true food orgasm. My friends had the prosciutto Arugula and they seem to love it. I wish the slice was a little bigger but other than that, no complaints. Prices: $ 5 and up per slice but worth it. If you’re in the area I would so recommend this place.

Eating pizza is a rare occasion but sometimes I throw conscious into the wind… and enjoy. I ordered Margarita pizza and the man said he would make it from scratch, this was about 10:30PM on a school night. Twenty minutes later, I had a crispy thin crust bubbly cheesy pizza with delicious tomato sauce and basil. I had to stop myself after 2.5 slices but I wanted to eat the whole thing. I remember when the owners opened this place, nice group of guys and the employees are jovial as well. This place is opened late and definitely a staple on Clinton St. in the LES.

stopped in here briefly to grab a few slices before going to The Delancey for a friends birthday party. SO surprised at how delicious it was. Any of the slices are a great purchase and they aren’t too pricey. There is a 10 $ credit card minimum which I reached with 2 specialty slices and a bottle of water. 2 slices left me full, so it was plenty of food. I literally loved the crust, and overall, it was really really good. Don’t go here for the ambience, the décor, or the seating– because that’s not anything to write home about. It’s just damn good pizza. I wouldn’t go to sit down and eat here with a group any larger than 4, because there are only about 3 tables for 4 people in the back.

TL;DR Expensive good pizza. I’VEBEENCONNED! Does this place think they’re Di Fara? It’s like $ 5.40 a slice. Why did I still buy it? Well… I thought it was up to stuff with all the high quality toppings… and also it was really late and it was the closest place with above average food. Also why the hell are all the reviewers saying this place is cheap with 1 dollar sign? Are these people on a diet and think 1 pizza slice is a meal? Last I heard you need 2 pizza slices to even consider being full. This is a two dollar sign place. C MON!!! The pizza tastes good, but it’s most likely because of the toppings. Whoever Nonna is, he/she probably was like«my pizza is good but not exceptional… how do i take this to the next level? I KNOW, I’LLPUTSOMEPANCETTA!» And that was probably the start of «lets put a kid with ADD in the kitchen and have him throw stuff on the pizza» BOOM! Bacon, gorgonzola cheese, and walnuts. BOOM2! grilled chicken and arugula BOOM3! Cream of spinach, peppars, artichoke, and ricotta cheese and so on. The crap part is the few times I’ve been here, it was close to midnight and the slices I got are not fresh. It’s the«made 2 – 5 hours ago, and will put it in the oven for you to heat it up» slices. Hence the following pro tips: 1.Order an entire pie so you get the pizza fresh 2.Order the slice that you see them just taking out… you wanted something else? Well you gonna get a stale slice. Do you want fresh high quality toppings or not? Stop reading here if you don’t care about prices — — — — — — — These concoctions are really good and the flavors all mesh really well, but that price! I just don’t believe I’m paying this much. At those prices I might as well get their sandwiches. I don’t know, maybe I’m not earning enough or I’ve been eating in OG Chinatown too much, but I have price shock whenever I step in here. I’m going to be dropping over $ 10 to NOT be full. at this point I might was well go to Lombardi’s. With $ 10 I can get 40 dumplings bruh! Mad good dumplings at prosperity. Even the regular slice is like 4 something. That’s definitely not worth it, so you might as well get those special slices for a dollar or so more. And that’s how you drop over $ 5 for a slice.

OMG!
