Oh and more than a month after I paid the bill I am still getting letter asking me to pay. Is it mere incompetence or harassment?

I called to make my first appointment and after giving all my info, and finally picking a day that a doctor would be available (I was referred to Dr. Levy but he wasn’t available for a month), we are wrapping up the call when I am told that my credit card number would need to be taken beforehand just in case I don’t show up to the appointment. A no-​show fee would be charged if I didn’t cancel 24 hours before my appointment so they would keep my card number, just in case. I’ve been to many medical establishments in my time, but this was the first time I was asked this. I thought it lacked class, and so decided to go elsewhere. Also, for a person that has experienced credit card fraud, it concerned me but, that’s probably a normal paranoia given my experience, Therefore, I cannot give a full review of the place but I wanted to let others know of their policy, in advance. I am sure there are folks out there that don’t mind providing their credit card info before even going to your first appointment. It just creeped me out, but at least you now know and can make your own decision if you want to go. Thank you.

I went to see Dr. Datta for an annual exam and she is a rockstar. Overall the office is super slick and modern in its processes. They have a direct link to the pharmacy of your choice and electronically send over scripts which is nice. They do hold your credit card on file but I think that’s pretty standard. (It’s to ensure that proper payments are due, I get it.) They also provide a patient portal for organization and record keeping, another nice little perk. The administration staff is friendly and cheerful and even though they were understaffed they still got my paperwork all processed in less than 10 min. I know that the other office locations get a bad reputation for their staff but just use the golden rule and you should be fine with «attitude problems» (verbatim, from the other location reviews) I learned that they just extended this practice so not only are there multiple exam rooms but this practice houses multiple doctors as well. My final advice is to get here a half hour before your appointment if you have paper work to fill out/it’s your first time. In general it’s good to check into the office 15 min before any appointment.
