The best cappuccino ever! Thank you for a great cup of coffee on such a cold morning. Staff is always pleasant and very efficient. Kudos!

There are few coffee joints in this part of town that don’t start with Star and end in fucks. Yes, other then the L shaped bench inside and the seats outside, it’s more of a «to go» joint, but what do you expect from a place that’s the size of your apartment. The kids inside fit the part of downtown/Bk barista kewl. The coffee is strong, bold and price appropriate. Like me. The music is loud but tolerable. They have newspapers on their tables to read. When was the last time you picked up an actual newspaper, Mary? Or, is that just me? It’s a dope spot.

Such a cute cozy tiny café with amazing coffee. I’ve walked past this so many times and it’s easy to miss so I never even noticed it until reading about it on Unilocal… If you’re looking for a small little charming cozy place that’s homey and not the Starbucks experience, this is it. Chill and very friendly employees, great alternative music playing. Skinny vanilla Latte was served with the pretty design in the foam and was just wonderful, and strong. Sometimes the smaller cafes don’t have vanilla/syrups flavors but they do. There is a wooden wrap around bench area for a few people to sit and read a paper but seating is very limited so not the best place to socialize or work. But a great little place to grab a coffee on the go or sit for a short time to have your coffee if seating on the bench is available. Highly recommend.

Oslo is like a beacon of light in the UES. Once I walk in there, I feel like I’ve been transported out of Manhattan … into a much more chill locale where I’m not being bum-rushed by some girl late to her yoga class. Coffee — all of it — is on point. Free candy on Halloween. What else can I say?

I drank all the coffee in Manhattan so you don’t have to. Just go to Oslo.

Love the coffee here! I got a skim latte and loved it. They steam the milk perfectly – it was silky smooth and the espresso was delicious. There isn’t much seating though so you can’t really hang out here. Will definitely come back again!

This is is the best coffee/espresso on the UES. Joe is a very close second, but this place definitely edges it out on quality of brew. Oslo is one of those epic spots that drip coffee they select and roast themselves. The product is a lot smoother and way less acidic than most high-end espresso and the barrista definitely knows what she is doing. I usually take pics of my drinks/food, but I remember coming here and it was this strange morning after a really hopeful and scary and new evening, and I had walked here thinking of my future and my many doubts. And when I got to the counter, which looked as though it were in a quiet forest, and received this small, fragile, perfect little macchiatto, I just felt really glad and grateful and at peace and I drank without thought to anything else but that the morning was a gift.

Really high quality, strong coffee. A tad overpriced but costs are in line with most artisanal shoppes in New York City. The atmosphere is quaint, but not good for working or really even a brief conversation – expect that when you stop in you’re doing just that. There’s one barista so if it’s busy they’ll be a bit of a wait but it’s well worth it. Definitely one of the better options for espresso in the area and I’d highly suggest it if you’re anywhere below 1st Avenue.

This place is a hidden gem in the ues. I almost always need a iced red eye as most brews are not strong enough for my liking. Their cold brew is perfect on its own. Place is always busy anytime of day.

We stopped by here first time on our apartment hunting day in UES. This store gave us very nice impression and their coffee is just fantastic. Very small and limited seat, but it’s worth to try, even if you don’t live in UES. This store becomes our #1 stop in our neighborhood. Here.

Finally, good coffee! I can’t take the Starbucks invasion in the city. I like this place because the coffee is amazing and the interior incredibly cozy! I come here during all seasons of the year and the coffee is consistent. Also, if you didn’t know they give a free coffee when you purchase of their coffee beans! I love Oslo

Ugh I wish this place was downstairs from where I live instead of 3 blocks. They would literally take all my money and I would like them for it. This is the only place around the area where I have had real coffee and extremely tasty almond croissant. They don’t source from Balthazar’s, unlike most other cheaters(although I still buy in to the cheaters). Their almond croissant filling actually tastes handmade… it was really delicious. You also can’t go wrong with their drip coffee. If I had more time I would be back here in a blink of an eye.

Delish iced coffee(small for $ 3) and friendly service! Small area for seating and they keep it cool inside which helps customers escape the summer heat!

My girlfriend and I came to this place on our one year anniversary. It was pretty damn good, I think this is one of my girlfriend;s favorite places to go uptown. It is a very cool coffee shop with awesome decorated walls and really nice baristas. Every time I come there’s only one barista working. The place is reallly tiny but extremely cute and with an outside seating area(chairs!) Everytime I come I order and espresso, pretty dark and pretty nice for a place uptown. I really enjoy it. The latte is my girlfriend’s favorite. She loves how dark it is and the milk. I had a soy latte one time and the coffee and soy milk blended very nicely. But not as good as a regular latte. I give you guys kudos and i hope you get tons of more customers!

Just moved to the UES a week ago, and have already been here twice. So good! As everyone else has said, yeah, it’s pretty small, but it is a really nice, quiet block so the walk there is very pleasant. The iced coffee is delicious and strong($ 3.50 for a large) and they offer 64 oz. growlers for $ 13 refills, which I’m very likely to invest in. Very friendly staff and inviting atmosphere. I already know this will be one of my neighborhood go-tos.

There is a Starbucks half block away, after my first try at Oslo 2 years ago, I have never gone to Starbucks again.

It’s a one man(or two) shop! Tiny barista counter and limited seating space inside. Some benches outside. But oh my it’s tasty coffee! The perfect neighborhood spot! I got an iced latte from there — it was delish! Wonder if they participate in the Latte Art competitions?!? I would be back but only if I was in the neighborhood(it’s in upper west side so kind of away from all the busy areas). Otherwise some other amazing places are worth a trip in NY…(not naming any names but Bluestonelane is amazeballs)

Great coffee! The place is tiny so not a great place to study or meet for a coffee date. It’s tucked away on 75th so it’s a bit of a hunt. But some of the best drip coffee I’ve had. The pastries look okay but nothing great — although the«pop tarts» seem really cute. Side note — I’ve never seen a hot sleeve here, and the cups get really, really hot 2 minutes after holding. Sounds stupid, but grab some napkins for insulation.
