I work around the corner from this Panera and go at least 3 times per week and I’ve never had any problems, but I may stop after today. I ordered an oatmeal which takes about 2 minutes to make. After waiting over fifteen minutes (the place was practically empty so they were certainly not slammed, which I would forgive) I finally got the oatmeal, was late for work, and when I opened it up it was cold. There are plenty of places in the area for me to grab breakfast, and I may find a new one now.

This is one of my favorite Panera Bread restaurants. They have two floors of seating so there is plenty for you to choose from. It’s nice and quiet so if you have any work you need to do while you eat, this is perfect for it. I prefer the second floor. It is nice and comfy with plenty of space if you have friends with you. When I worked in the area, this was my go-to place for lunch. Never had any trouble with the service and the staff was friendly. Highly recommended.

This establishment is just bad. I ordered flat bread. They lay the item standing on the side, everything in there just fall out into the box. No quality check!

This place is the worst. Their clam chowder is absolute trash. It was watery, tasteless, and a 59 cent can of pre-made clam chowder would have had more taste than it. And their steak white cheddar panera had no filling, tasted completely tart, and was over compensated with their sauce. Overall, worst experience I’ve had in all of my dining experiences anywhere

Soba without the actual soba. I shouldn’t have expected the picture in the kiosk to actually represent what I’m actually going to get. Seriously, I wouldn’t have ordered soba noodles if I knew I wasn’t going to get SOBA noodles. Best part of the meal was the chips.

Establishment run badly. The employees are confused as to what they’re supposed to give to customers when they pick up their orders. The food was far from how it looks, bread was burnt and stale too. The best part of my meal had to be chips.
Bad experience, will not be returning.

Well I have never really been let down by a Panera before, until I visited this Panera. No green tea or lemonade and my soggy Frontega Chicken sandwich has one slice of onion, a small chunk of chicken, and tomatoes that look like they are so over cooked they look like they are turning into liquid. Will not be returning. I understand you get busy but really?

I’m shocked. My sandwich looks like it was thrown together without a care in the world. The avocado still had skin on it! The garbage was a mountain, piling high. The service however was alright. Other than that, I don’t see myself coming to this panera ever again.

I’m a fan of Panera Bread in general because of the nice quiet atmosphere and easygoing relaxing ambiance. The upstairs is quite nice, especially on a busy hot New York City afternoon. I came here to charge my electronics, rest up a bit and enjoy the AC while sipping on an iced tea. The seats upstairs are spacious (crazy to think in NYC!), and the quiet comfort is what I really like about it.
Being from California, entering this Panera Bread instantly reminded me of home especially since i am not used to the hustle and bustle the city. The staff seems to be very friendly. The breads looked amazing and who can really resist a freshly baked cinnamon roll?

I never write reviews for chain restaurants but I felt compelled to after a great experience with the staff today. My cashier was exceedingly friendly and helpful. According to my receipt, her name was Shannell, and she just instantly put me in a good mood. When my order was ready, a man, I assume a manager, called my name, handed my my order and double checked it with me to make sure they had gotten everything correct. I’ve been to many Paneras and I’ve never had this happen before. The food was good, as it usually is at Panera, but I really wanted to write this review for the customer service. Thanks for a great lunch, I’ll definitely be back!

The food is great just like any other Panera Bread. They have the same pick two deals. I did not see any «signature» pick two deals; I’m not sure if it’s a seasonal thing or not.
Pros:
They have to-go boxes of you need it. Also, they have A LOT of seats. Even ones on the second floor (yes, they have a second floor!)
Neutral:
They have a male and female bathroom but, I saw a woman exit the male’s bathroom and she left a lot of hair in the toilet and trash can… Like, a handful…
Cons:
They kind of messed up my order. My friend and I ordered the same thing and they did not deliver my sandwich. I had to tell the waiter and got it after several minutes.

I used to have penera a lot when I was in LA, so when I came to New York, I was craving for this. So thank god for being this place to New York finally. Well, it is a little bit different than what I had in LA. However, that was a while ago, I still love the bread soup but was hopping that It was hotter. It was kind of warm but not hot when I had it.

Friendly staff. Bi-level seating available. Quiet. Comfy, semi-private booths, plus free WiFi, so I imagine it’s probably a haven for students, telecommuters and tired travelers. And also why there’s a sign in the back, requesting patrons limit their stays to 45 min. or less.
Two single-stall, spacious, clean BRs in the back.

The usual Panera chain setup, but in a handy location near work. While the options may not be as exotic as Hale & Hearty or Fresh & Co, the membership points & ordering via app for speedy pick-up are pretty useful for a busy weekday lunch. It’s hard to find $ 10 lunches in midtown so this is a decent option.

Close enough to Boltbus /Megabus /train station that it makes for a good, fast alternative to having to fall down the rabbit hole of Penn Station’s food offerings. With 2 levels, it’s also bigger than most Panera locations in town. Thus, you’re usually more likely to find a seat, and less likely to get told they’re packaging all food to go across the board.

All Paneras are wonderful, and Panera is probably one of my favorite chains in terms of options and food quality. The food here was just as I expected; yummy and hot.
Relative to other Paneras:
+ This one has a great location! I often need to be at Penn Station or Boltbus, so this is very conveniently located. There are also a lot of subway stops that run around here.
— Unfortunately that means there are a lot of people here. I came on a Sunday at 4, and there was only one open table. It may be hard to come here with more than 1 person
— The cashiers are a little slow. There were some standing at the front, but not accepting a line, which I didn’t understand.
