Papa John’s Pizza

They raised their delivery fee recently to $ 4.00 this in not inclusive of tax and tip which are an additional fee. I placed my order over an hour ago and am still waiting for my pizza to come. God help them if it arrives cold because paying nearly $ 7 for a $ 10 pie to be delivered is gross enough. Called to ask about my food and I’m told it’s on it way… no eta but that it’s already left. won’t be ordering from this location again.

This papa johns has incredible service. And, the manager Walker takes care of his customers. The delivery is fast, the food is great! Highly recommend if you want to get the service most businesses like this don’t provide.

Just called to place and order the guy who answered the phone had a attitude and when I asked about an online special he rudely told me that online is online and calling the store is different. won’t ever call this place again.

I’ll never order from here again! Not even due to the pizza… but the delivery person!!! FIRST he buzzed and I said I would come down (due to my buzzer being broken) He told me to HURRY UP! I still gave him a $ 5 tip. No thank you, anything. He then told me my total again. and I said and I added $ 5 in for a tip. I then went back up to my apartment… only to hear my actual door bell ring. And it was the delivery man again saying theres a $ 1.50 delivery fee. I didn’t have any extra cash and initially felt bad for not giving him and him having to take it out of his tip. But sure enough I looked online and there is NO delivery fee. I tried calling the store and the man said no manager was there and hung up on me. I NEVER EVER complain about these things. But just the fact that he came up to my door after I had already tipped him well trying to get more money from me made me feel kind of sketched out! I won’t be ordering from the again!

I’ll admit; as soon as I ordered from here, I realized I hadn’t read the reviews of this location. Once i placed my order, I came to this page and saw so many complaints about delivery time and that freaked me out. I was shocked when my delivery came 25 minutes after I ordered it, and was given a 30 – 40 minute window. But then I discovered why: the cheese on the pizza was not even melted.

This is my go-​to pizza delivery in my neighborhood. Pretty good pizza since I always get emails promotions when they have the 50% off whenever the Rangers scores or whatever. I usually orders the thin crust large pizza, wings, and chicken poppers. Personally I don’t like eating the crust, and I love how their toppings actually goes to the rim = no crust. *Thumbs up* for me.
I never had an issue with delayed deliveries. Tonight is the NBA all-​star game, I ordered at 8:35pm and pizza came at 9:10pm!

This location is terrible. The cashier guy is a total jerk. Made me wait 30 minutes at the counter close to midnight and never gave me my pizza. Won’t even honor their own locations coupons. Simply awful. Now I order from the grand street location.

This establishment is great for the neighborhood. The food is prepared quickly and properly. They often have special offers including family packages, daily deals, or sports based options. I’m also a big fan of their rewards program: for every $ 5 you spend, you earn a point. 20 points leads to a free pizza. In addition, they tend to offer flash sales where you purchase a pizza before a certain date and you’re automatically given points for a free pizza for your next purchase.
As for their food, I’m a big fan of the spicy Italian sausage topping. For specialty pizzas, I recommend «The Works.» Also, the garlic parmesan breadsticks and chipotle barbecue wings serve as great sides. This is a great establishment to order from if you’re looking for a quick and cheap meal for your family or friends.

They deserve a zero. He called me a f***ing idiot when I called after they were thirty minutes late. Oh I am the idiot who ordered garbage from psychopathic pizza boys. Never. Ever. Ever. Again.

Way to slow for delivery. Not worth it. I keep giving them another chance and another chance and here I am again, it’s been over an hour. This is my last time

Great deals & tasty pizza, but absolutely horrendous service…
They’re ALWAYS late with their deliveries. The most recent time, delivery took a total of 2 hrs. Not joking. Hell, I could have gone to the store, bought my own ingredients and made my own pizza in that time.
The dude on the phone asked me if I would pickup the order and he’d give me a free cookie. Are you EFFING serious with that sorry bribe? NO. I already paid for it as a delivery. Then he had nerve to give me attitude on the phone cause I opted out. Then he said the delivery would take another 30 min and that I can wait since I’ve waited for so long already.
Extremely poor execution and poor customer service.
I can see why the franchise is suffering. Just sayin’

Sometimes, it is mandatory to eat Papa John’s. Medium 2 topping pizza for 5.99 = good deal. I think they’re matching the Domino’s Pizza TV special right now b/​c it’s not advertised on their website — you have to call this deal in. Delivery is about 30 min.

I was here 1÷16÷13 around 2pm. Seem like the worker here didn’t want to work. I ordered 2 slices and told them I wanted my pizza hot. The guy said yea its hot, but its not even warm. If he don’t want to work then go home. He finally put it in the oven, but only for like 15 second. Then he left and went to the back and chat with his co-​workers. Worst pizza place I’ve been too. Think he is an Indian guy.

Got a large pie with all kinds of veggies and an order of spicy buffalo wings
The pizza was bland, and the tomato sauce way to sweet for my taste
The dough was chewy and went well with the greasy garlic butter sauce, but nothing great
the buffalo wings were just ok
don’t think I will order for here unless there’s no other options

Ordered from this Papa John’s while visiting a friend in the area. One of the best (and worst) things about Papa John’s is their garlic sauce. They serve it with their pizzas and their breadsticks, and it is so buttery and delicious, but definitely not healthy for you!
We orderd «The Works» and the «Spinach Alfredo» Pizzas.
«The Works» had every ingreient imaginable, and so I actually felt that it was too much, but other people in my group enjoyed this.
The «Spinach Alfredo» was extremely cheesy, and I knew just by looking at it that it was super fatty and oily, and I was right. Overall, I would prefer a lighter spinach pizza. I actually wanted to just order a spinach and mushroom pie, but they didn’t offer spinach as one of the ingredients, and so this was my option.
Delivery was very quick on a Monday night. We got the 2 large pizzas for $ 21.99 deal– pretty good deal!

I can’t believe I’m writing this review — I live in NYC and I’m eating PJ pizza? — but, in my defense, the pizza was free. Regardless of the price, we’d never return to Papa John’s, or perhaps any other chain pizza place. .. except for *maybe* Domino’s in an absolute pinch for some event where the attendee’s tastebud level is, like, 10 on a scale of 1 to 100.
So we ordered our pizza online, which was easy enough. We liked the fun bit where you get to choose what goes on the pizza by clicking on pictures of toppings. That’s where the fun ended, however. The pizza itself was meh, and the toppings SO SKIMPY. 3 – 4 measly pieces of pineapple per slice? And the same for «grilled» chicken? Come. On. And the Papa John’s dipping sauce — what happened to the delicious garlicky goodness I remember from my school days? That sauce tasted of chemicals :-/

It’s no fancy pizza but it’s perfect for superbowl food. i think the best way for me to judge pizza like this is by the topic ratio to slice. lots of topping per slice, i approve! the delivery made it just in time for us to not be bothered or miss anything in the beginning. oh! and their garlic sauce, terrible for ya, but so so good.
