Very cute place! Clean inside, comfy, smoothies, frozen yogurt with toppings, and wifi, oh my! I came here to get a little bit of work done while enjoying a smoothie. The family that runs the place is very sweet and friendly. There’s some comfortable seating inside that makes it a great place to chill. Definitely worth a visit, especially to support a family business!

Don’t let them know you have cash if you were planning to save it! Minimum on cards is $ 5 but if your order is a couple of cents under, they’ll let you pay with a card if you say you don’t have cash. Their bubble tea wasn’t bad. I didn’t try their frozen yogurt though, so I can’t say anything about that. The frozen yogurt machines are located in the back. If I happen to be around Park Slope and had to kill time, this seems like a good place to chill.

Wasn’t too fond of the passion fruit bubble tea. I have it before somewhere else and it wasn’t the same. But I will go back for some frozen yogurt.

Very good frozen yogurt, it’s so silky and smooth. I ordered the coconut froyo and added on some cookie crumbles, coconut flakes and mango Yum! I am a new fan on Pearl gate! They are very clean and staff and are friendly.

I liked this place and used to come here often for ice-cream. But yesterday evening I had pomegranate-raspberry with pistachio ice-cream and later mixed wild-berry yogurt smoothy and were sitting there and doing some work on my laptop. Suddenly I had terrible stomach-pain all over my stomach. I was barely walking to nearby train-stop to get home. All night long I had increasing stomach-pain, was very noxious and had fever. I know it was either from their ice-cream or smoothy, because I had only breakfast home and didn’t eat any meal after and were feeling wonderful until I had their ice-cream and smoothy. I’m heading to emergency today and I will never-ever step in to this place again.

Finally a Froyo place on 5th Ave and park slope! The woman in the front who greeted and helped me was sweet and cheerful. The place is always kept very clean. They have a good variety of toppings and flavors of frozen yogurt. Definitely would recommend anyone who’s craving or in the mood for some froyo to come here!

Many kinds of frozen yogurt flavors to choice. If all of these decadent treats are inducing chest pains just by reading about them, pull yourself some pomegranate yogurt and drop in some blackberries, raspberries, blueberries and almonds for a(relatively) healthy post-workout snack. It’s(almost) all natural!

Pearl gate will be my new bubble tea and yogurt spot. The moment I walked inside I was greeted very nicely by a Chinese dude and lady. I had the cookies and crème sample and I fell in love. The ice cream or yogurt was very good and have great quality. Food /taste: the taste is no less than perfect you get lots of options and items to choose from. From pumpkin to coconut. It’s just simple amazing. The flavors that I tried is the egg nog which actually taste like egg nog with a hint of cinnamon. And the cookies and crème which is out of this world. I am soo excited to try the other flavors. Cleanliness — the staff do there best to make sure the place have good standards they take awesome pride in their business the place is well maintained. The yogurt machines don’t have yogurt spill a over the place and the condiments is well organized and spotless. Atmosphere is like you are in a lounge. So relaxing and calm. Nice television to watch for all ages. Very nice neighborhood and the owner is very nice. And all the staff. So my overall impression is that if you want to treat yourself, just bring the children for a treat this is the place for you and of you just want to treat yourself. This place is for all occasions. I finally found the spot that have what I am looking for in Brooklyn This place earn 10 stars and I hope this business strive even higher

Five stars because I’m convinced that the owners of Pearl Gate are the nicest people in Park Slope! I’ve never had their froyo, but their boba is pretty good.

Frozen yogurt, you are my #1 love for all seasons. This place was good, had a nice amount of flavors, and the man at the register seemed friendly. Definitely good if you’re a froyo fan and wanna grab some with a free of charge smile from the nice man.

Great place for bubble tea and froyo. First place I’ve seen(so far) that offered popping boba for their bubble tea– I’ll have to try it next time!

The best. Texture and flavor are so on point. No toppings required. Blows all others away. I love Culture for a more gourmet and organic experience but for standard frozen yogurt, this can’t be beat. Pinkberry is INEDIBLE compared to this.

My daughter’s fav place! Nice selection of self-serve frozen yogurt, toppings and extras. Comfortable & clean seating and tables. I usually get a bubble tea while the kids enjoy the froyo and the Cartoon Network playing on the TVs. And totally affordable since you can choose how much to get! one less star for the brain-numbing tv show choice and bc sometimes the froyo is a touch runny.

How can you not give this place 5 stars? You serve yourself, so if you don’t like the service you have only yourself to blame. If you like frozen yogurt, and you live in South Slope, this is simply the place to go. They are open late. They have plenty of toppings. My wife prefers the European Tart yogurt with strawberries, wet walnuts, chocolate chips and shaved coconut. I like salty caramel with Captain Crunch, a couple of gummy worms and graham cracker crumbs. Whether you prefer the bland and generic or strange flavor combinations, this is the place to get it especially if your partner is pregnant and late night frozen yogurt cravings strike!

Yummy I love pearl gate so much it makes me so happy! Glad it’s hot out again so I can get it more often, wasn’t as appreciated during the snowstorms this year(always be eating froyo, I say). Def get a taster cup if you can to sample a few flavors, the best is mixing them up!

Finally found a boba place is park slope! good selection of milk teas and really good flavors too. The place is decorated like a typical asian/hello kitty/frozen yogurt joint, but that won’t stop me from ordering some tapioca balls in my drink ;)

This is a really nice and clean space. Asian owned, friendly, they let you sample as many flavors to your heart’s desire. When I came in they had pretty exotic flavors like Pumpkin, Raspberry sorbet, Espresso, Burnt Caramel, Strawberry Shortcake. Probably close to at least 16 flavors like 16 Handles. So there’s that. Fresh appearing ingredients, though I didn’t put many on top. Many of them asian: those little boba balls(whatever you call them), mochi, etc. A plethora of candy bar and cookie items to crumble on top as well with caramel, fudge, peanut butter, and marshmallow fluff. It’s not over-ridden yet with kids like Yogurt Land around the block. Also, its like across the street from my gym so I really couldn’t resist. They also sell fruit smoothies and bubble tea which is unique for a fro-yo place.

Good for after dinner dessert spot. Went here for an ice cream craving. Cons: Probably more my mistake than theirs, I added a lot of different flavors in my cup and had a tough time differentiating the flavors. Texture was a little less on the smooth side. Pros: Still super yummy and loved adding multiple different toppings like cookie dough, brownie bits, peanut butter cups, etc. Also there are lots of flavors to choose from. It’s DIY so you don’t have to feel guilty about adding as much as you want. The place is a little small but good seating. I can imagine it gets crowded in the summer. The staff is also friendly. Would definitely come back for an ice cream fix. Good place.

This place has so many flavors and toppings! I love the cookies and cream as well as birthday cake flavor. The fruit toppings are always so fresh, but they have lots of yummy candy toppings too which I appreciate. They are also open late to satisfy my late night sweet cravings.

I remember when I first walked by and noticed that Pearl Gate was open. I have a slight froyo addiction and always had trouble finding a spot in Park Slope to fulfill my weekly frozen guilty pleasure. I was so happy that I stared in disbelief for a few minutes until I came to the realization that no, I was not dreaming. My wishes had come true! A froyo spot right down the block from my boyfriends house. Perfect! The owner, Jack, is always smiling and seems to be on a first-name basis with all his customers. We sit up at the front and just talk with him sometimes because he’s such a friendly guy. There’s a nice selection of froyo and toppings to go with it. We never leave feeling less than satisfied. Lots of shining stars and thumbs up for this place!

At last, this is the first mom-and-pop yogurt shop I’ve come across that is just as good(nearly) as the big self-serve chains. Much like the major player, they also have 16 handles here, with flavors just as varied and delicious. The Peanut Butter was great, as was the Salted Caramel and the Cookies & Cream. They are very friendly as well, despite not speaking much English(I think). They have my favorite style of lax sample-giving, in which they just gave me a sample cup and let me loose to try as many(i.e. all) flavors as I wanted to. They have a large variety of samples too, though still not quite as many as some of the big chains. The place itself is huge too — nice and spacious and wide open with plenty of seating. This is a great spot and I hope they can survive the onslaught of the growing frozen yogurt craze. I would love to see them open more locations in areas less remote than this random spot in Park Slope so I could actually come back.

It’s rare to see a yogurt place with such much space to seat or even like 4 tv screens. there are over 10 plus flavors and beside that, there’s also drinks smoothies and stuff. I normally come here with my gf for a quick snack after dinner when we are in the neighborhood. With the price hard to resist, we go in for a try and definitely better than most places i know. I suggest you bring some card or boardgame to play here since there’s so much space during winter time. i asked about Party event and they are really up to offering the space as well. I hope they don’t charge much when i plan my bday party here. good luck
