This café happens to be inside the CUNY School of Social Work and School of Public Health. I have frequented it countless times over the last couple of years. They are mostly known for their coffee, various smoothie drinks, and make your own salads. They also have really delicious wraps, hot lunch specials($ 5 two days ago for a grilled chicken breast, fresh rice and beans, and a side salad. No joke!), and delicious baked goods(last year they used to have this delectible carrot cake everyone raved about that never lasted through lunch hour). The staff is really cool, although the bald manager guy is high strung and treats the employees a little meh(asking someone to hurry up when he’s making food at three separate stations at once, and the guy is tapping his finger by the credit card terminal, sucks). I love the ambiance when it’s not lunch time(when it is lunch time, it is chaos. Hard to know where you line up, where you go, etc.) I was told by my buddy that they were cleaning out the place today and closing down. I will find out for sure next week if they’re closed for good, however, before reporting to Unilocal

Decent food. Prices across menu are inconsistent: some things seem very expensive, some way too expensive and no menu seems to list their offerings. The staff serves customers in random order. If a friend of regular comes in they cut the order line making the long wait time even longer. Would be a good place if they served people in order and they had a clearer menu with clearer pricing.
