The pizza is reallyyyy good! Nice and crunchy crust along with a very flavorful sauce! Best pizza I’ve had in East Harlem!

Yo, Yankee SK Pizza is some solid, by-the-slice pizza. I got a slice of pepperoni, and boy, did that thing fill me up for a nice snack. Perfect foldable crust(although it tasted kind of bland), nice and creamy cheese, not too greasy but just right greasy. The man behind the counter here had the most epic pizza man stains on his shirt and apron. I wasn’t worried about cleanliness or anything, but it made me wonder how many years the dude had been wearing that shirt while slinging pies. Great snack.

Here’s the deal. Yankee Pizza is the best in show for NY slice /gut bomb pizza. This is not wood fired, artisanal anything. It’s a slice. The dough is oil-less. The cheese is plentiful. The sauce is alright. Every slice $ 2 is a meal. It will hurt your stomach. I usually ask them to add extra sauce to my slice and I only have a slice when I can spare a bunch of calories and don’t plan on any vigorous exercise afterward. If all those things work for you than you too make Yankee Pizza your go to slice joint. The two guys that work their are awesome. And, you can always get quarters for the video games if that floats your boat.

The food is good. The staff have always treated us very well-like neighbors. We love the pizza and the pasta dishes. It’s simple fare… nothing fancy but it’s good and reasonably priced. I wish they were open later.

Reliable and consistent. They are always quick to get you in and out, if you are in a hurry. My daughter likes sitting in the booth tables near the video games. Good neighborhood slice place. Chicken and pepperoni rolls nice too.

So I really didn’t want to dig the«cheap pizza» craze that has populated so much of Manhattan, but this pizza place is literally on my block where I work a couple days a week. How could I resist? I actually first stopped by here around when it first opened, and stopped by again a few days ago. This place exemplifies simple, delicious, amazing NY-style pizza. It has the perfect crust, perfect cheese blend, the right amount of sauce… and that perfect crunch when you bite down. The slices are MASSIVE. I’m not ashamed — I’m usually a 2 slice girl. But one slice is more than enough here, believe me. It was totally worth having a burned-up mouth for days afterwards, because the pizza was too irresistible to wait until it had cooled down to eat it. So a piece of pizza, 5 garlic knots, and a 20 oz soda was less than 5 dollars. YES… in Manhattan, it is more than possible, ladies and gents. I only refrain from giving 5 stars because the garlic knots were very dry, and didn’t come with the expected tub of red marinara that makes them dreamy. Next time, I will just enjoy my pizza and soda as-is… and that next time will be much sooner than later.

Great tasty pizza, I recommend it. The place doesn’t accept cards, but has an ATM. Who needs fees? Have ya cash ready, its easier. I got a couple slices to go and they were ready in a NY minute! They were still hot when I got home. The man doesn’t smile, but he’s nice enough. I’ll go back.

My girlfriend and I get pizza to go here all the time. I’m not sure you can make a pizza much larger than the one they serve and we frequently just get the $ 5 personal pan one which feeds both of us easy. We love the taste. The owners are so super nice and they always joke with us. My only criticism is that I wouldn’t plan on eating in this place in the summer. It gets pretty hot in there.

I don’t know that it lives up to the«Real Italian Pizza» slogan in giant letters on their new awning, but the pizza is tasty, the slices are huge, and the price is right. Plus, there’s never a line and always plenty of seating. The arcade games never seem to be in use, but they’re functional and kids like them. Yankee’s is just a few doors down from Hunter College’s Silberman building, making it the unhealthy budget lunch of choice between classes.

Yankee’s Pizza is pretty tasty and the slices are very large in size. Normally I avoid the average neighborhood pizza spots(especially dollar spots) or anything that looks relatively cheap in appearance when it comes to pizza because normally the taste is bad and I love pizza with good taste. I love the regular slice and white slice. The pizza shop itself is very clean and comfortable. If you live nearby or happen to be around this part of Spanish Harlem, definitely worth a visit.

This place is right around the corner and is a local alternative to Dominos. While I wasn’t too crazy about their pizza, it’s a place I’ll likely continue to patron in order to avoid supporting pizza chains. I had a slice their cheese pizza(huge piece, $ 2.25), their garlic knots(5 for $ 1.00) and a Jamaican patty. Obviously the patty was standard, but delicious for $ 1.50. The pizza was only okay, and the knots weren’t too impressive. I’m willing to come again and try some other stuff. The two guys behind the counter seemed really nice, so I’m hoping this place ends up being better than just 2 stars.

Great tasting pizza, I wish I started coming here sooner! In keeping up with the Joneses, they have a very respectable $ 5 personal sized pizza deal. Convenient because none of the large chain competitors that offer similar deals are within walking distance of my house. FYI, you know the pizza is good when you can eat it cold the next day… will be back for more!
