Precise Brows

Terrible place to do body waxing. I stopped in one evening to wax my arms and it was the worse experience ever. First of all the waxing room was dirty and plain. The wax she used was dry and insisted on applying it to my arm causing my skin to rub and burn. I told her she as rough and her reply was I had soft hair? Whatttt??? I will not be returning to this place again

This isn’t one of my top choice brow spots since I prefer a few places in Manhattan. But it’s near my gym and when I’m in a time crunch I don’t mind going here. It’s clean and efficient but today I had the fun of dealing with a woman who didn’t seem to have any tact.
First she starts by telling me my hair is too curly (I’m natural — yet that doesn’t effect the hair on my eyebrows so I was already side eyeing her). Then she continued by asking me «do you wash your hair». Now I’m getting annoyed but maintained my cool and said «yes». Literally a one word answer. She then went further by asking «do you shower every day»? At this point I look at her and say «are you SERIOUSLY asking me if I shower every day?» To which she sheepishly replied «oh I was just trying to make conversation» and promptly stopped talking.
So apparently if you’re a natural head, beware if you go here (although it’s located in a part of the Bronx where there are PLENTY of naturals walking around) as apparently kinky coily hair is a foreign concept for the employees here and they will manage to insult you without even trying.
I never seriously frequented this place before (only went once or twice in the past) but I won’t be coming back.

This was disappointing. I was referred by someone who goes to their downtown location. I received quick and friendly service in a clean establishment.
The bad part was that, after I explained what I wanted (thick as possible-​sharp as possible) I got something else. The lady threaded my eyebrows waaayyyyy thinner than I ever get them. She then tells me that the end of my brows were that thin-​no they weren’t. She then suggests that I buy one of their eyebrow growth oil.
My friend suggested that I bring a picture. Hopefully that will work for you if you decide to try. Good luck

This place is cool. I love the fact they don’t double dip after each customer they throw out the wax. The wax smell like chocolate which is soooo good.
