I came here to get my leather boots repaired because the heel came off. It was a quick process! It cost $ 15 which is relatively cheap especially for leather boots. I would definitely come back here again if needed.

I had to deduct a star for keeping waiting for over a week. $ 18 to reheel my rubber-​bottom boots and after 2 days the heel is almost worn out! I went back to complain and Mr Rafik said I should bring the boots back again, but who wants to keep going back and forth? This man is unreliable. AND CASH ONLY!

Love this guy, Rafik. I came in with a leather item it needed repair. He fixed it redesigned the item so it worked better for me. Work was very very clean and precise. Gave me a very fair price when we both know he could’ve taken an arm and a leg. Shoes or anything made of leather or suede I’d take it to him first and know I’ll be walking out with at least good advice.

I had a pair of boots that were on their last leg (I wasn’t able to wear them all winter) and I was thiiiiisss close to tossing them in the garbage, but decided to try to repair of the price was right.
For $ 20, my boots are good as new! So happy this shop breathed new life into my boots!
Now, after my hiatus, I am looking forward to wearing them again this fall.
This place is great and the owner seems like he genuinely cares.

Excellent, expeditious service. A full reheeling and resoling of my leather Chelsea boots was completed within two hours (for $ 43). My shoes now look immaculate and have a new lease on life! I will be back with more shoes to be revived.

I came because of the other good reviews. It was my first time to go to a shoe repair store and my shoes are really important to me.
I brought three pairs of shoes to be re-​heeled. He showed me how the main soles of my favorite INK oxfords were really thin, and how the soles of my banana republic ankle boots were flimsy (which I knew but never thought I could do anything about), and so I said yes to getting them both resoled.
My boyfriend picked them up for me, and I couldn’t be happier. My winter leather boots (I spent a couple hundred to buy them.!) were wonderfully rid of their salt stains. Every new heel and sole matched the style of my shoes perfectly and all of shoes seriously looked almost new despite two of them being the only shoes I practically wear every day.
Cash only. And you pay half of the total payment at the beginning.
He was awesome to put my boots in a fairway bag to kept them separate from my other pair that shared a cloth bag; I brought my shoes in cloth bags and he kept them so he could return them to me in the sane bags, but did a little extra by using the fairway bag. :)

I needed a strap fixed on a pair of sandals. For under $ 10 and in less than an hour, he fixed and cleaned my sandals. Great place! Will be back.

I had lived in New York all my life and have never been 100% satisfied with a shoe repairman until yesterday. What great service!
I called him just a bit before closing, came by and was out with polished shoes with my leather scuffs repaired and new heel taps in 15 minutes flat and at a great price!

one of the best shoe repair shops in the neighborhood — honest, fair prices, and the owner has an integrity about what is worth fixing and what is not worth fixing. There are other shoe repair places, but I often wait until I can get to his shop because I just trust him.

I’ve been coming here for shoe repairs for about two years and have had leather backings, heels, soles, and boots repaired and refurbished well. The turn around is usually no more than a few days to a week and the repairs last.
I’ve now begun to use them for clothing repairs too and have had a great experience getting everything from fabric tears fixed to routine buttons & hems. Note: If you want to speak to the woman who does the sewing before you drop it off, call ahead to assure she’s in that day.
All around a very nice, well run store.

Great repairs and good service… I always have my favorite shoes soled after I get them to give them good traction. Rafik does an incredible job — already had 5 pairs done by them.
Their charges comparable to other places — maybe a couple of dollars more but very much worth it because of the quality work they do. I would not trust my expensive shoes to anyone else…

Very good service and incredibly fair prices, both for shoe repair and for alterations from Mila, who sits in the front window.
Rafik took in a pair of my sports cleats. He not only perfectly stitched back together a key seam and then re-​glued the outsole, he cleaned and polished a pair of athletic shoes I was just going to get filthy again the next day. And all for 20 bucks or something. Oh, and since i had a game the next day, he expedited it and delivered to my doorman!!!
Mila has done a bunch of great repairs and alterations for me, for a fraction of the price you’ll pay at other shops. Pant hems are $ 12, rather than $ 30. A button was $ 5. She put a zipper back on my coat, and is now making me some curtains. All for really, really reasonable prices.
Both are very nice, hard-​working people. They deserve your business, and will treat you right. Don’t expect a fancy shop, and don’t expect them to design a new Armani suit for you. Otherwise, you should be very happy.
