Roberta Roller Rabbit

Love Roberta Roller Rabbit. The kurtas are fantastic for summer (over a pair of jeans or a swimsuit). The bedding is adorable. Every year I stock up on pillowcases and duvets. The store is tiny and it can be a bit hard to figure out (inventory is mostly stacked). Make sure you talk to Fran. She is a seasoned salesperson and will always steer you right. Fran will not let you leave the story with anything that’s not flattering and she helps you find the sale bits, too. She’s terrific and really makes the experience!

I like this place, but it’s got a certain kind of style that not everyone is a fan with. I guess I would describe it as Indian-​inspired preppiness, which can come off as a little tacky but if done tastefully can look good. I got some bedding here and a new pillow and I am pleased with the quality and design.

This store is overprice for the quality of their clothes and they deliver very poor customer service. The sales staff in the NY and FL store are very rude an unaccommodating!

I love the material of the kurtas but I received pajamas for a present (over 100 dollars!) and found the material to be stiff – not at all comfy and soft. I washed them twice and they still didn’t feel comfy – stopped wearing them. Finally decided to bring to the store on Lex. I can understand they wouldn’t want to take them back (but maybe they could have for customer relations reasons) but the manager kept tryng to tell me that they were as soft as the kurtas – not true – otherwise, I would be wearing them! To me – bad customer relations – but more to the point – don’t buy the overpriced pajamas!

Bought a dress at Roberta Roller Rabbit. Wore it the same night. Bought two more the next day. More excuses to wear my drawer full of belts!
If you love Calypso St. Barth, you will probably enjoy this store (and perhaps Ro’s Market and Roberta Freymann).
The staff was were extremely helpful and friendly… offering to show me different colors and styles. Even when the store was very busy.

I was so excited to go to this store. I had seen it on another trip to nyc but it wasn’t open at the time, so I made sure to stop by during my most recent trip. I was disappointed. They really didn’t have as much as I thought they would from looking in the window. They basically have 5 styles in 10 different prints. Many times there was only 1 size. For the price, the stuff just wasn’t amazing. Oh yeah, and if you’re above a size 2, don’t bother going to Robert Roller Rabbit, because you’ll look like a cow in everything they have.
They fold and stack most of their clothing, and unlike Jcrew, they have an awkward attitude about people unfolding stuff. I’m super sensitive to this, so being in the store stressed me out. When we came in the associate immediately stood 10 inches to my right, doing some random contrived task in order to attack us when ever we even pointed to something that was in a pile. We simply were not allowed, without feeling guilty, to see anything. I do understand what a pain it must be to fold stuff in an exact square again and again, but my solution would be not to store it that way.
So we ended up leaving this store without buying anything. Oh well.
