This place is so perfect for a cold winter day(… I’m sure it’s as great during the summer, but the vibes here warmed me right up!) The servers were very sweet and their greens were fresh. I ordered their mushroom omelette which came with bread and salad. The portion looked small, but it was filling. I don’t know what it is about this place, but I love it. It’s cozy, relaxing. Food is excellent. Not the best location(closest subway stop is Times Sq/Port Authority), but I would highly recommend.

My boyfriend loves breakfast food and insisted on us having breakfast during our trip. For me, I rather go straight to the real food and skip breakfast! This venue was conveniently near our hotel, so of course I gave in. As a Texan, everything is bigger in Texas, and I assume you the portions here were small. People comment how small it is and they could barely finish it, there are other reasons for that… –breakfast quiche: probably the worse quiche I’ve ever had. Those tiny little things were the size of my tiny feminine hands. It was basically all breaded and like 4 tiny cubes of eggs. Think I’m exaggerating? Not a chance. –breakfast lunch: my boyfriend enjoyed this dish, but it just wasn’t my cup of tea. He loves brunch food so I suppose this satisfied his craving. –lattes: the drink was nice and warm! It was delicious too! Despite it being smaller than my usual cup for that price, I just told myself I wasn’t in Texas anymore. Don’t get me wrong, food is food and I was hungry. I just personally felt I didn’t want to finish the plates because it wasn’t worth filling up on or gaining weight.

Grab a bite to eat for lunch. The place is small but really cozy. The staff was so nice and accommodating. Got the avocado smash and brisket sandwich. Both were outstanding. Never knew avocado, mushrooms, and arugula could be so good. They do put a delicious lemonade sauce and the best bread with it. The brisket was my wife’s favorite. This is a must eat.

This place is super cute, definitely has the rustic theme going on. I like Flavored latte or cappuccino, that was the only thing this place didn’t have. Flavored shots for their coffee, so I skipped on coffee. however I did try their avocado smash which was amazing! Filled with flavor of lime and pepper on ciabatta bread. If they had flavored Coffee I would definitely go their more often. Customer service is great, food came out presentable and fast. It is a bit pricy, but it’s worth the experience.

This is a cute little hipster café with awesome drinks! If you’re waiting to kill some time whilst near Port Authority, this is a fantastic option. I’ve tried the Hot Nutella($ 4.50) and the Spicy Apple Chaider($ 5), and both are awesome. The Hot Nutella is basically Nutella in liquid form but without being too sweet, and the Chaider actually has small chunks of apple in it!

Just as its name implied, rustic table does have rustic tables inside the room, providing a relaxing feeling on a freezing Saturday morning. Their menu was simple yet delicate, with all-day served breakfast, to pastries, to salad and small bites. The minute I stepped in, I was being attracted by the small cutting board that was used to display food — too bad I was only getting take-away order so cannot enjoy seeing my food being displayed in front of me! Got the veggie breakfast, with smashed cauliflower and sunny side up egg. Would love to try their blueberry pastries.

I agree… what a great new addition to Hell’s Kitchen. The Early Lunch is so much bigger than you think it is and the brisket is sooooooooo tender w/stewed carrots/celery …avocado and a fried egg on top! So Good! Often I just go in for a cappuccino and a ”sweet”. Guy and Jordan introduced me to the Nutella Classica! The place is well run and staff is amazing! Guy and Jordan are welcoming and Juanita and Tiffany @ the counter are professional but fun and sweet! They are like Prudie and Rhetta Cupp in PUMPBOYSANDDINETTES! Service w/a smile and real charm. They and this restaurant are«the Real Deal»! Best Coffee in Hell’s Kitchen!

Came here for brunch with my friend today. The place was full but we grabbed a seat after 5 minutes of waiting. There are counter seatings and a long picnic table, which seats about 10 people. The only inconvenient thing about the long table is that if a space opens in the middle, you have to ask people to slide out so you can squeeze in. But no big deal. I ordered the Early lunch and cappuccino. My friend ordered the Fisherman’s breakfast and hot apple chaider. The Early Lunch was scrumptious!!! The brisket was tender and the arugula, carrot, chickpea, avocado and egg… um perfection! I definitely recommend it. The cappuccino was on point as well. My friend enjoyed his Fisherman’s breakfast as well. Just a heads up, it’s an omelet! I also had a sip of his apple chaider and it was sooo good! Perfect for sweater weather days. Service was great and everyone we got in contact with were nice. I’ll definitely be stopping by again soon.

Great food but the servings are small so be prepared to order a lot if you’re hungry. Lots of vegetarian options at least for brunch. However the service needs work. One of my sandwiches was dropped on the floor and had to be remade. Another order was forgotten, and the waiter had no memory of it being ordered at all.(Why don’t you just write things down?!) The staff kept hovering over us as we are waiting to clear plates even though nobody was waiting to be seated. This makes me think it’s a place to get takeout instead of sitting.

I can’t say enough good things about this establishment. I first happened upon it during my last business trip to the city, as my hotel was on the same block. I initially came here for convenience, and continued coming back for the consistently excellent food & great atmosphere. Of the 7 days I had spent in New York last time, I came here for breakfast/brunch 5 of those days. I’m certain I will have most of my morning meals here this time as well. My favorite is «The Veggie» which includes mashed potatoes, cauliflower, arugula, and eggs, with a side of fresh(and delectable) bread with butter(are those Kalamata olives in the butter?!). It’s absolutely wonderful. They do offer almond milk as a side for your coffee, if preferred. Their server Tiffany is just a doll… Very sweet and so knowledgeable about their menu. She made great recommendations. Highly recommend!

I’m a sucker for naturally lit pictures showing warm wood tables. It’s my kryptonite! So I was naturally drawn into this café on the super west side(after 10th Ave, you know it’s a bit of a walk). The café was warm and inviting, with one large rustic, communal table to your right when you enter(the namesake!), and some bar stool seating available also. I ordered the nutella clasica, featuring peanut butter and banana on a croissant, and while it caught the eye of a couple biddies next to me, it wasn’t that delicious. The croissant wasn’t warm, or flaky, or anything you’d really expect from a croissant, and I couldn’t even discern the peanut butter. It’s basically a banana sandwich for $ 6.50. The biddies were eating the popular brisket lunch special, so maybe that’s the way to go here, but I won’t be going out of my way to come back to try it.

My fav place for breakfast when in NYC. Simple, clean and fresh food that tastes home made. I love that most dishes come with a bit of salad. Décor is chill and coffee fantastic. One thing I keep forgetting is that you sit first and they serve you. Sounds silly but the first thing you see is a counter to order so I get mixed up almost every time. Lol Friendly staff too!

Great service and friendly people! The setup encourages you to dine with others — and the atmosphere is exactly what you would expect with a name like Rustic Table. The food is fresh and very healthy. I had cauliflower mash potatoes, and they were the best I’ve ever had. Sooo good. Yum. The only complaint we had was that we could not get mimosas. It was 7am in New York on a Friday. Can’t complain about that I guess…

Very small restaurant with only one table that can probably seat 10 – 12. Balkan croissant and Nutella classica were both very good but portions are very small. Both were served on mini croissants. My husband enjoyed his slow-cooked brisket sandwich… I tasted it and it was okay… was not a fan of the spice on the meat. Clean and spacious bathroom is a super plus.

On the plus side, there’s a lot of adorable faux-distressed wood. It’s, like, Brooklyn, but near the Javits! On the minus side, it’s very expensive for unremarkable sandwiches and salads. The deal-breaker was that the guy at the register kept shouting at me after I repeatedly told him that I couldn’t understand what he was saying. Because the music is VERYLOUD, you see. Which is odd, because it’s midday SUNDAY. When most people are relaxing and/or nursing their HANGOVERS. Also, and i’m sure you realize this, you’re located in the Manhattan equivalent of SIBERIA, kind of dependent on repeat business from locals. And if you’re not nice to us, then why the HECK would we SCHLEP all the way over here to get stuff we can get cheaper almost anywhere else, except with NO one SHOUTING at us? But it’s really, REALLY cute, and sort of EUROPEAN. So if your goal is a café with the heart of FASHIONWEEK, it’s basically PERFECT.

Walked in on my way just now taking care of business in NY. Rusticly modern is how I would describe this place. They play relaxing jazz in the background. You can opt to sit in or take out. I ordered an iced coffee to go. For $ 4(yikes) you get deliciously brewed coffee with a smile. The coffee has a subtle sweetness. I love the concept and it’s not insanely crowded like Starbucks.

This place reminds of cute European bakeries, where you can get tiny portions of food that are healthy and taste heavenly. A great breakfast place! The mushroom quiche is a must try!

Great little spot around the corner from where we’re staying. Only open a few months and already leaving a really good impression on its customers. The Nutella Classica is amazing. Great way to compliment a coffee(which I think is the best I’ve had in NY, so far). I had the Early Lunch and thought it was a great portion size. Very healthy and you don’t feel like you’ve over-eaten. Ingredients are all organic and fresh making for a very good start to any day. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The place is small but it doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s still a great place to eat. Definitely recommend Rustic Table to anyone looking for a small spot to have coffee or if you can’t decide on where to eat. Guilt-free and well worth a visit.
