This is a small, independent pharmacy that my partner and I have used for years, thinking that their smallness would translate into a bit more personal attention and care. Wrong. To make a long story short, I called them about filling a prescription for a migraine medicine that I take. I was told that it was too early, and to call back on Monday — 6 days later. I called my insurance company and they said no, I could refill the prescription anytime. I called them back back, they punched in the request, and less than 15 seconds later they confirmed for themselves that I could refill the prescription. Why didn’t they do that the first time? I got a song and dance about«last time we tried to do this» and«every insurance company is different.» But at the end of the day, rather than spend 15 seconds double-checking, they would have put me through a lot of needless pain. And dude doesn’t even apologize. Instead, he tries to throw it back on me. Also, this place isn’t open on weekends and has short, workday hours. You’re way better off establishing your prescription at a chain store that has more convenient hours.
