Dr. Scott is the best! I had a root canal done at his 58^th St office and he was amazing. No pain, quick and easy. Highly recommended!

Scheduled appointment for a root canal almost a month in advance. Now I’m at a point where my tooth hurts if a cold wind catches it and so I’m actually looking forward to getting a root canal done. A couple of days before my appointment, I receive a call that Dr. Schechter no longer accepts my insurance. Really? Shouldn’t the office have checked that when I made the appointment a month ago? My gawd.
And I doubt that they just stopped accepting the insurance… like, yesterday.
Now I have to scour dentists within my plan and hope that one has availability within the next week less I DIE from tooth pain.
I hope when Dr. Schechter actually sees the patient, the patient receives better service.
