While I’ve been there on numerous occasions for threading, I finally had a facial and it was terrible. She harshly massaged my face with an abrasive scrub, including the eyelids, which is the most sensitive area of the face. She then proceeded to scrape my face with a piece of metal(in the dark!) and when I asked what she was doing she called that«extraction». She then placed a mask on my face and left the room to make a phone call, which was certainly longer that my entire facial experience. I’ve had many facials in my life, but this was by far the most bizarre experience. As I’m writing this, my face is burning and I have a rash around my eyes. Be aware that the 50% discount of their original prices might be an indication of what’s in store for you.

Best salon in the hood! There are so many indian places in upper east side but this is the best. I come here for everything. Eyebrows, brazilian, head massage. Ask for Phalguni. She is the best. Very thorough with their work.

Went in here with a few friends for a head oil massage and overall, the treatment was good but the service left more to be desired. The Indian woman who worked on my head and was courteous and really took the time to do great work but the Nepalese woman(who appeared perhaps even be the manager) was at best super commercial and left much to be desired. Few issues: 1. A few minutes after we came in, another woman came in to do her eyebrows and she was for some reason prioritized over us. Don’t know why the Nepalese girl thought we had all the time to sit around but she didn’t even bother to ask us before attending to the other customer. 2. The Nepalese girl kept asking us where we were from(?)…not once but multiple times to each of us. Was kind of annoying because it had nothing to do with anything. 3. Most awkwardly, the Nepalese girl thought we didn’t understand what conversation she was having with the Indian lady and said: Nepalese girl: how long are you going to make the treatment? Indian lady: let’s see how long it takes, depends on people’s hair Nepalese lady: make it 15 minutes, we will charge them 20 dollars each Ah…super awkward. Nepalese manager woman, I think you need much more management than your staff!

Just kidding, only go to Sona. The other woman who just did my eyebrows completely butchered them. It’s going to take months to have the hair grow back…

I did Brazilian waxing through Groupon. I was not expecting this painful job ever. I tried a lot of places but this is the worst waxing ever. I was bleeding on the bed so bad but she kept blaming my skin is too sensitive. When i tried with other place, i never had this pain and bleeding. The wax was too thick so it dried even before she attached the strip. She tried same area 3 – 4 time to get rid of hair with that wax. Even though i paid through groupon, she asked additional charge 10 dollar for cream wax which is less painful. It was still painful i assume the original waxing is probably pain like hell in fire! I got all bruise and skin problems and i am going to see doctor.

Great eyebrow threading job for $ 7.00. No reason to ever go anywhere else.
