This was my first time getting fillers in my lips. First off, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. I initially started writing this the day after the procedure, but I held off posting it to make sure the results weren’t temporary. It’s been about three weeks and so far, so good :) love, love, love the results. We did ½ a syringe. Would like a full syringe next time, BUT, I can definitely see a difference. I would go back for sure !

Don’t come here unless you want to shell out almost $ 1,000 for one syringe of filler that lasts you for 2 weeks. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

Had a lovely experience here! The facility is clean and the front desk staff couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful! The doctor was great, she listened to what I was hoping to achieve and made recommendations based off that. I felt comfortable there and did not feel any sales pressure to get more than I asked for. I will definitely be back.

Be sure to actually watch the doctor remove the product from the vial. I came here for a spaweek deal and I’m positive the doctor used a something other than filler he claimed he was using. I had no dangerous side effects but the «filler» dissolved and was completely gone the next day. Bogus place

So far, this is the best (and least expensive) botox I’ve gotten. Most doctors gave me less units in my 11’s (which usually left me with one side — the stronger side — still creating a wrinkle, and made me look a little lop-​sided). Dr. Berdy told me I needed at least 20 units in this area, preferably 24 (other doctors were giving me 14 and charging me more), and I was in around 6:30 pm (as a walk-​in) and out in a half hour and given an ice pack to reduce my chance of bruising (I got one little bruise, in the spot where I tend to bruise). Other doctors didn’t even offer me ice. Dr. Berdy was very friendly and easy to talk to. I have a new botox doc! FYI I’ve also seen some great deals on their twitter account (which I haven’t yet taken advantage of, but plan to!).

Nice, clean place in a nice area of Manhattan. Doctors never pressure you to spend lots of money and I have never had any bruising/​swelling anytime I had some work done. Easy to make an appointment and I have never had to wait. Decent prices as well. Doctor is board certified.

Dr. Berdy is the best. I have been elsewhere for botox & fillers and come out with bruises and my face swollen like Daffy Duck for days… never when I come here, so now this is the only place I go. He has a light touch, leaves me looking fresh & natural.

I went as a walk in, spur of the moment yesterday, the whole staff could not have been nicer, and The Dr. Could not have been more patient with me as a «newby». I felt very comfortable, and I probably still have another few days before I see the full results but I am extremely pleased with their attention, and look forward to my next session… I felt the price was also more than reasonable for the treatments I received…

Last Friday I popped into Smooth Med looking for a touch up (I had a 1300.00 treatment at a very expensive dermatologist on 5^th only seven weeks ago and had less than impressive results). Dr. Berdy was great. I got what I needed to achieve the look that I like. It was easy, reasonably priced and fast. They gave me exactly what I asked for without trying to add on, and I really appreciate that. I will definitely return to Smooth Med… my results are great!

I did a lot of research on a good place to look «rested» and I can honestly say I picked the best place ever!!! Dr Berdy is awesome, he is patient and answers all of your questions, mind you I ask some ridiculous questions too! They offer specials that will be sent to your email so you can get some discounts. I don’t think Smooth Med is cheap nor is it the most expensive, but it is up there for certain procedures. I for one am 100% satisfied with my results. I been getting compliments since I got my botox done. Also, Dr Berdy is very knowledgeable when it comes to injections, he knows how much and where to put them so you don’t have to worry about looking like an inbred when you’re finished. I am very pleased and will be going back when I need some maintenance.
Another nice thing to mention, it is a walk in so you don’t need an appointment. I always make an appointment so I don’t have to wait because it does get crowded during lunch time!

When I’m not looking, ahem, «rested,» this is where I go. I have paid twice as much at other derms and been half as happy. I know exactly what I want and Dr. Berdy never pressures me to buy more.
Me: I don’t know. Fillers make me nervous.
Dr. Berdy: Then don’t get them.
