The sweet potato latte is good but it didn’t blow my mind. I really liked the atmosphere in the café. This is a great chill place to study and enjoy the owner’s taste in music. There is a BIG difference between getting a small sized versus large sized coffee. It’s only $ 0.50 cents more but the large is twice as big.

I ordered the sweet potato latte and was thoroughly disappointed… I could still taste the flakes. Not worth the hype. They dont have a great selection of pastries either, but they have nice artwork on display.

I discovered Space Gabi completely accidentally but I’m so glad I did! Comfortable, creative atmosphere, delicious coffee, friendly owner. Can’t wait to stop in again!

Heading to nearest Starbucks from my hotel on a freezing morning. Saw coffee sign in window and went in. Excellent coffee, cakes and service. Going back tomorrow!

Escape the chaos of nearby K-Town and chill to curated electro beats! Space Gabi has the standard café drink fare, but you should definitely try their specialties, like the sweet potato latte and the Korean warm citrus tea(yoojacha)!

Came here with a friend to help him work on an essay because of the free wifi and it was great. Nice and cozy and the interior design is very creative. The voice level is not too silent and not too loud; a perfect place to get work done or just chill and chat. I had the green tea latte and it was not bad. not good either. Nothing special; mediocre. Would’ve given a 3 star but the witty and humorous things in the bathroom bumped it up a star. Come use the bathroom here if you wanna find out what I’m talking about. Oh and some dude little next to us spilled coffee on the floor and stuff but the staff didn’t notice and he just dipped haha. They did clean it after though… when they realized it 10 minutes after he dipped.

Stopped by this place when I was looking for a quick drink after a meal in K-Town. I had an Iced Matcha(Green Tea) Latte which turned out to taste alright, but it isn’t a drink I would order again. The Matcha taste is very watered down, which takes away from the overall richness of the drink. Also, there seemed to be a lot more milk than a latte should normally have. Aside from the drink, the place is quite cute and cozy — seems like a great place to get some work done. I noticed plenty of interesting artworks in the back which is nice to look at.

I used to walk by here to work all the time, and always used to wonder about the name of the place. After visiting, I finally know why it is named the way it is. Space Gabi is literally a space that can be rented for whatever you’d like. There are half day/full day and weekend/weekday prices, and plenty of pictures on the walls which show examples of ways in which the space can be used: pop-up shops, music venues, etc. etc. It also makes for a great study spot or just a place to rest your feet. There are plenty of small, intimate tables, as well as bench-type seating along the entire length of one wall. There also happens to be a coffee stand in the space! Their coffee is actually really expensive, at $ 4 for a tiny, tiny latte. It was good, but nothing spectacular and definitely not worth how much I paid for it. I guess you can say you’re paying for the ambiance though. Definitely a very hipster vibe. Free wifi is a plus!

I’m from Virginia and I’ve only been to NY twice and had to come here both times. There’s only one guy up front I think he goes by Kanu and he puts a lot of love into the drink. The sweet potato latte is steamed milk with potato flavor blended in and is great but adding a shot of espresso was also good for the pick me up. the plum tea is flavorful and tart; I’d recommend if you like brighter tangy flavors on the sweeter side. I came for the comfy eclectic atmosphere and a good cup and was satisfied both times. Prices are a bit high for a small cup but I believe it’s worth it.

I am here for the sweet potato latte. It is so good. I ordered the green tea latte and it was great but tasted some of my friends sweet potato one. Amazing. I’m definitely going back for it again and again. In a city full of packed coffee shops, it was such a treat to find this place. We actually found seats and a table to get some work done. It’s pretty quiet with good music. Plus, free wifi and plenty of outlets to plug in. The best part is its unique art installations. So, if you are looking for great coffee and tea work space with a twist, you’ve found it here.

Space Gabi continues to be a go-to spot for study sessions. Great coffee. Wifi. The space is unlike any other with the bleachers and cute garden tables. The only shortcoming is its limited food selection. But the music, and overall vibe makes up for it!

3.5−4 stars. This is a very cool space: art gallery doubling as coffee shop/study spot. It’s a very calming spot and they have a variety of lattes, teas, and even shaved ice. There isn’t a tremendous amount of seating but enough to feel non-claustrophobic yet still cozy at the same time. I tried the green latte unsweetened(which was probably a mistake) and it wasn’t the best drink I’ve ever had, but I also tried the mocha and it was light and delicious. I think things can be a hit or miss. It’s a bit too quiet here for my taste and it can get rather hot, but overall seems like a good place for getting some work done.

I came here by chance looking for a place with wifi to get some work done. I ordered the sweet potato latte and it was superb! Not extremely sweet but flavorful and fresh. I loved it so much I had to come back and order the same thing. The noise level is average for a café and the décor is quirky but conducive for productivity at the same time.

On my last day in NYC I needed a place with wifi to get some quick work done before heading to the airport and stumbled upon Space Gabi. I ordered a cup of regular coffee with an added shot. The guy told me that’s called a red eye. The place is funky but oddly comforting. There’s even a disco ball in the center! The music is great, a mix of old and new and very soothing. Awesome place to study ! I would definitely recommend.

I found this little place by chance, looking for a place to work and study. I would recommend it for people in this area! I don’t drink coffee or care about the quality, so I cannot rate that, but the chocolate milk was good. The atmosphere was nice with all the art and painting. There are more than enough outlet to plug your things in and it isn’t so crowded. It is quiet and clean so nothing can really distract you. The chairs are not very comfortable and maybe someday, they could upgrade simply by added cushions or something, nothing so expensive. But I enjoyed and I will go back again.

This place is adorable. Reminds me of a café you would find in Garosu-gil, an ultra-trendy neighborhood in Korea known for its hipster cafes, fashion, and art. The fact that this café serves as the store front for an art gallery lends an instant cool-factor to your coffee-drinking experience. The place itself is long and narrow, with the espresso machines propped up in the window front, and you can watch Kanu flit back and forth to his small podium while he makes your drink. A great environment if you don’t mind sitting on low benches and working on your computer off your lap, as the wi-fi is free and the music is good. A nice place to work the night away, or even get to know Kanu as he is super approachable and takes immense pride in his work. Unfortunately, they seem to be closed on Sundays.

Space Gabi is a small café/art gallery in one. It has amazing coffee and you can definitely feel the artistic vibe of this place once you enter. PA speakers are mounted in the center playing downtempo music is a relative hole in the wall and definitely a unique place. Honestly, if I didn’t pass by it by accident one winter night(did to an event), I wouldn’t have realized this was there and a café on top of that. There are outlets besides the benches, and there’s free wifi here. Coffee is really great, but i kinda hoped for some pastries sometimes(maybe a macaron?).
