I have been working in Soho for six years. I noticed that every time I walk in the store no one says hello. However, when someone else walks in after me that happens to be another race, all of a sudden I hear a very cheerful «Hello…welcome to Steven.» That place will never get my money. Whenever I see a shoe I like, luckily I have been able to find it at another Steve Madden Store.
It looks like other people had the same experience at the one in the West Village. I felt that I needed to write this long and overdue review about this store. I have walked in way more classier stores in that area and gotten a warm welcome. I don’t get why I get such rude service from this store. Honestly, their shoes are very average and they have no business acting like that.

I’ve been a big fan of their shoes. this is the up-​scale version of steven madden across the street.
Their design is unique and affordable (times to times) they have sale section in the back where I usually find some good deals.
I never failed to stop by this store when I’m in soho!
