This review is for the Subway restaurant that is near the Harlem Target & Pleasant Ave. You know, the Subway that NEVER has any customers? Although the food here is fresh, I am giving this place a 1-star rating b/c they gouge prices. I went twice and both times ordered the same exact thing: a 6in turkey sub with lettuce only. On my first visit I was charged $ 6.34. I found that to be odd since a footlong costs $ 5 — how is a sub half its sizze more money? Nonetheless, I paid and went on my merry way. The next time I went,(and ordered the same exact thing), I was charged $ 8.06!!! When the cashier told me the price, I asked questioned the price & informed him that the last time I ate there it was 6 bucks. He simply shrugged and said«tax.» I told him no country in the world charges that much in tax. So then he says, «Eh, prices change.» So I told him to keep his sandwich and I proceeded to leave. As I was doing so, he yelled after me: «What would you like to pay? Ma’am!!! Let’s make a deal!» WOW. Never again.
