offerings are consistently similar with the other branches. i was just surprised that the server’s from the Philippines, and we got the chance to do some small talk. it’s unusual, as most of their stores I’ve been to, are manned by South Asians(or Indians, Pakistanis and the like).

I’ve lived in New York for more than two and a half years now, and I went to a Tasti D-Lite for the first time today. This afternoon, following a meeting off site, I walked back to where I work through Chelsea — and decided that ice cream would make the summer-turning-into-fall day just right. So I stopped by a Tasti D. And I don’t understand what all«d fuss» is about. $ 3.75 for a medium cup of French vanilla? Sprinkles cost 50 cents? It’s not ice cream or soft serve, much less frozen yogurt — but something entirely other? Tasti D does make for a tasty treat, but if I wait another two and a half years before I return, I think I’ll be just fine. It’s not that big a d-eal.
