Cute little shop near my apartment. Their pastries are delicious and lattes made to perfection. It’s tiny, so don’t expect to bring a group in and chill, but great for grab n go.

My Sunday morning dose after workout and this time I picked Jolly Goat. It is indeed only a small coffee bar as the seating was extremely limited; however I felt a strong sense of home at this place. As usual, got Americano with skim milk. However Jolly Goat has much more to offer — freshly prepared bagels, muffins, and even their signature ice cream sandwich and/or marble ice cream! Cashier happily handed me the punch card — I’m sure I will be back for their sweets and more!

Quality coffee. Made me a great, wet cappuccino! Not much space to sit but it’s a great option for quality coffee on the go!

First coffee shop I’ve visited since being in NY. The almond latte was delicious. I asked for a recommendation on the bagels to which the staff suggested a fish bagel, I was a little sceptical but I have to say it was incredible. One small thing which could be improved would be a couple of small chairs and a table to sit down rather than having to sit facing people passing by but nonetheless a great café, super friendly staff and an ambient atmosphere. I will be returning.

The Jolly Goat Coffee Bar offers Stumptown Coffee, as well as other hot/iced drinks, teas, ice cream, bagels, turnovers, croissants, turnovers, brioches, and other baked goods. The hubs and I stopped by here on our way to another bakery, and the sign for the Dona Chai caught my eye. This chai tea concentrate is made in Brooklyn, and it is served with your choice of milk. I ordered a regular-sized of those, with half and half — I was pretty disappointed with this drink as not only was it not temperature hot, but it was extremely watered down! Considering that it was made with a concentrate, I thought the chai taste would be a bit more stronger and more concentrated T____T Staff was friendly, and there is limited counter seating(3 seats) and a bench. Just note that pets are allowed in the store, and one dog owner wasn’t keeping her eye on her pups which were trespassing into the kitchen area: O +watered down Dona Chai T___T

The cutest little coffee shop in HK! They have a drawing of what constitutes what drink(espresso, cortado, flat white, latte, etc.), which is perfect for coffee drinkers who aren’t super coffee savvy but want to try different drinks(aka me haha). I go about once a week and am always happy with my order. I usually get a $ 5 almond or soy latte– it’s pretty popular here! In terms of service, the guys who run the shop are friendly and make the drink right then and there for you. I overheard the owner reducing the price for a customer today because she was a regular, which I thought was nice! There is sometimes a line but I never have to wait for more than a few minutes. No one ever seems to sit at the three seats at the window(probably because it’s a tight space). Also, they’re one of the few coffee shops in HK that accept the Cups app!

I really like this tiny spot, and discovered it thanks to Unilocal.I almost always get an almond milk latte which is super tasty. I love how creamy and unique the flavor is. I haven’t ventured beyond that drink, so I’ll reserve 5 stars until I’ve tried more. Service is usually pretty good though not over the top great.

Strong Stumptown Coffee. Their ice cream sandwiches are not big but richly delicious and hit the spot to perfection.

Jolly Goat is more than just a cup of coffee… It’s a break from the stress and pressure of my day. I work right around the corner from this shop and I go almost daily, and there isn’t a moment during my time at work that I look forward to more than my trip around the corner. Whether it’s the cold brew, Americano, mocha or a cup of hot coco, the beverage is always top notch and made with care from an incredible staff that really takes pride in the coffee it makes. The owner is extremely friendly and always greets us and makes time to chat. And the staff even remembers my preferences. Who knew that in such a big city, you’d be able to find a coffee shop that felt so personable and cozy. I’ve never left Jolly Goat without a huge smile on my face and it’s a small business that truly deserves the recognition. I highly recommend stopping by, grabbing a coffee and introducing yourself to the staff. Cause if you do it once, you’ll be hooked.

I love the vibe of this cute store. Small little coffee shop with wooden furnishing. It was quiet because I went in the afternoon on a weekend. Not much seating –more to just get your drink to go. The barista was very friendly and engaging. I got a chai tea latte that was crafted with care. Non dairy options are almond and soy milk. I think they use organic. I definitely want to go back to try a coffee drink!

I absolutely love Jolly Goat even though it’s kind of a trek for me to get there. They have the friendliest baristas ever and the coffee is always on point. Been coming here for the past half year whenever I get the chance to. The almond latte is highly recommended. Sometimes I would pass by to get an ice cream sandwich too. Overall, nothing bad I can say about Jolly Goat. The people here are passionate, know their coffee, and really try to make it a good experience for all the customers(asking how their day is and answering questions about coffee). You definitely don’t get this service at your local Starbucks!

I usually judge more by experience and ambience, but DANG! Dat ALMONDLATTE! This time, taste has won by far and it has given The Jolly Goat a 5 star rating from me Could this be the G.O.A.T. coffee?(Greatest Of All Time) Yall coffee people need to check it and let me know… I for one love it

I’m from the west coast. I’ve never been in NYC before. So take my post with a grain of salt. The people behind the counter here were top notch. They were friendly and were totally coffee nerds who gave us some good coffee places to add to our coffee tour of New York. The coffee was pretty good. And the ice cream sandwiches were REALLY good. But you know what impressed me the most? That the young man behind the counter didn’t go completely insane at the treatment he received from a handful of young men who came in together. One was so rudely racist to the young man behind the counter I nearly said something myself. Ironic because he had a yarmulke on his head. I have never seen such overt racism displayed anywhere but in movies. Jolly goat is where I will go back again and again. I just hope I never run into that rude disgusting group of boys ever gain. And I just realized this was my 666th review… how appropriate.

Seeing the five star Unilocal rating for a café in Manhattan. I knew I had to try this place. WOW. I was blown away by the almond milk latte. I didn’t know something so simple could taste so intense, velvety, creamy, and sweet all at the same time. Best latte I’ve ever had, hands down. It doesn’t get more perfect than this! Alex the barista was a super friendly dude who told us all about the cafes background, owner, and gave us tips on what to try. Not a try hard hipster café. Loved the energy and atmosphere. Thank god for the Jolly Goat!

Awesome little coffee shop. The cappuccino I got was great. No complaints. — There’s 3 seats by the window with a wall outlet and then there’s a bench that seats 2. So 5 seats total. — Cups and water provided, self serve — They use CupsAPP! — Wouldn’t really recommend as a study spot with the limited seating and small space. Only a little bit disappointed by the Melt red velvet ice cream sandwich. I didn’t think it was THAT great and it was smaller than expected.

The tiniest coffee shop I’ve ever seen! Two men working here & both so passionate about their coffee! They make each cup with fresh ground coffee. I’ve never had stump town coffee before. It is amazing. Such a unique taste. The menu isn’t as crazy as Starbucks. Very simple coffee options. Just goes to show that a good cup of coffee is no frills. I ordered a latte that was made fresh in 3 minutes! They have great small breakfast options like croissants, bagels & scones. Not a lot of room to sit inside so better to take & go!

I can see why folks like this place, they’re serving Stumptown products and have good baked goods as well as ice cream sammies from Melt Shop? Yay! It’s also small. Like broom closet small so don’t think you’re sitting with your laptop all day drinking java. Get your coffee and get out! I stopped in today with my son, we ordered a Cortado and a espresso. A cortado is an espresso cut with a small amount of warm milk. Mmmm mm good! I also tried a savory scone that was baked perfectly. I’m a fan, find this place if your in the neighborhood!

This is just the cutest little coffee place in New York. There’s little space to sit, just a couple of stools by the window and a bench outside, but boy is it worth a visit. The coffee is great. I can highly recommend the drip coffee. You only pay 2 dollars for this baby, and it’ll be better than any fancy mocha skinny latte with extra whipped cream that are so common in your everyday popular coffee shop. Don’t forget to try a ice cream sandwich while you’re at it. They’re huge and taste great. The staff is very friendly, music’s great and prices are very affordable. Oh and there’s wifi. What’s not to like? Well, one thing I had hoped for: the option of goat milk for your coffee(I mean, if you’re called ‘The Jolly Goat’…). But that’s just a personal obsession not shared by many other people, which I get. So go get your shot of caffeine right now, you won’t regret it.
