I was feeling lost in my career. I didn’t know what steps to take to get me to the next level. I was banging my head against the wall because I felt like I was already doing everything I could do. At Savvy I learned there was so much more I could be doing. I was given tools and tips I had never tried before. It made me excited for my career again. It also made me feel like I had some control. I have always had internal resistance to the idea of treating my acting career as a business, mostly because that word «business» has a lot of negative connotations for me personally. I thought treating my acting career that way would mean sacrificing my artistic sensibilities and putting some fake «business» persona on. But the MBA Weekend broke open all those preconceived notions. I left feeling empowered as an artist, as a human being and finally, yes, as a business owner. Kevin and Doug helped me see that my «product» is not some inauthentic idea or persona I put on, but my most authentic self and most precious passions. And that is a product I’m excited about selling! Why did I get into acting to begin with: to share what’s inside me! Now I have a very inspiring road map to help me do that more effectively.

I signed up fro the MBA Crash Course weekend. A lot of information. I think every actor needs to have a game plan on how to MARKET their talent. Savvy Actor is everything I wished I had access to when I moved to LA. It presents information with action steps. Fun and informative. Do it.

Kevin and Jody MBA weekend is full of so much marketing information and help to get the actor going in a positive direction. They help you find out who you really are and how to market the real you. When I attended a weekend seminar in Los Angeles with The Savvy Actor folks last summer is when I began to take control of my acting career. I attended the LA course and it was an amazing course, I learned so much about branding myself and understanding how to have control over my career verses just throwing darts in the dark. I highly recommend this course if you are an actor or entertainer, this will give you an unfair advantage over the competition. They will also give you continued support which is great for helping to keep you on track and remind you when life takes you off course.
