Mediocre pizza, everything else is dreadful. I did a large take-out order & it was terrible. The food was overdone & the side order of sauce melted the little crappy plastic cup & got all over everything. Things only got worse when we tasted the calzone! The ricotta was sour!!! I called to complain about the entire order, but the woman on the phone was in such a hurry that she offered to send a new calzone & hung up without listening to the rest of what I had to say. When the driver arrived with the new one, I told him what else was wrong, but he didn’t seem to care. Nobody wanted the new calzone when it arrived. Save your money.

Eh. Not worth it for a reheated pie, when we ordered a fresh one. Very turned off by that.

Started coming here about a month ago, great food, nice clean place. As close to the original L&B’s as you can get. I actually went back to L&B’s it’s not the same anymore the sauce tastes different. Try the chicken roll and calzone delish! Gina the manager is very nice and knows the menu.

This place is terrible, don’t waste your money when Romeos and Mona Lisa are within yards of this place. Tried their food again, after a couple of years hoping that get better; they got worse. Ordered Something very simple, 4 square; slices to takeout. When I Got home and opened the box they were all burnt, ate one slice than in the garbage they went . (I always give people a second chance) my concern is how they f***ed up both times. They say time cures all, but for«The Square» eternity wouldn’t help them!!! Well new developments; about 6 hours later developed stomach pain accompanied with diarrhea(Last thing I ate was garbage pizza). It is now 21 hours after eating this shit and still sick. STAYAWAY, actually the best thing for this ‘Restaurant«is to close but this time for good for nobody should endure what I’m going through because of bad food!!!

Placed an order for delivery today and I have to say this is the closest you’re going to get to an actual L&B Slice on the island. It was delicious. Yes, the center slices were a little underdone, but I like it that way!

I’m writing this review for the excellent service I received. Which sad to say on the south shore of staten island is uncommon now. With all the spoiled lil brats answering the phones. The lady was super nice and I found myself thinking how rare that was. The pie was a pleasant surprise

The food; Pretty good L&B knock-off pie that I am grateful for. It provides me with a means to have my L&B fix without going over the bridge. Try it at least once. The business; At a price point of $ 21 for a Sicilian, we usually decide to pass up this place more often than we want to. We’ve also experienced poor delivery wait times of about 2 hours more than once. We learned our lesson and only pick-up if and when we decide to splurge. Would love it to be the go-to pizza place, but the price would have to change first.

This was, by far, the worst pizza ever. It was burnt, had no taste and was a very poor attempt at copying L&B

Worst food ever! No napkins on the table, and no where for me to even get up and get napkins off the counter, had to ask instead of the waitress bringing it along with the food — very unprofessional pizzaria. Buffalo wings taste fake and had hair on it. Disgusting!!! I advice no one to eat here ! You can most defiantly go next door to Mona Lisa and get better food and service!

I’m not a big square pie fan, but I’m converted! We had a party with 20 kids and half a dozen adults, and we arrived with just a 15 minute notice. We were accommodated quickly and with great skill. The wait staff had tables set up when we arrived, places were set and we were seated with drinks in just 5 minutes. Their square pie is to die for. Really, really delicious and I’d recommend highly. Their round pies are also excellent. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for more than 30 years, and I’ve seen them come and go. This place is a keeper! Head here the next time you crave some really monumental pizza — you’ll be pleasantly surprised — and disregard the negative comments and photos, I’d be seriously amazed if they weren’t solicited by the competition next door.

If you are looking for a pizza that is not your standard run of the mill boring pizza, then head to The Square. I had both their square & regular pies, & they are delicious! The square pie has a beautiful light & fluffy dough topped with a lightly sweet sauce, & is balanced perfectly by the thin layer of mozzarella & the slightly salty grated cheese. It is cooked to a crunchy perfection & is a thing of beauty! Their round pie is equally delicious & has an old world Italian flavor that is unrivaled. As if that isn’t enough, they have killer chicken wings & rice balls that I’m still dreaming about. On top of all that great food, they have a polite & knowledgeable staff, & the hostess Brenda is the real star of the restaurant. She is kind, funny, beautiful & truely makes you feel special. I will definitely go back to The Square, & I urge you to do the same.

HORRIBLEPIZZA. HONESTLYTHEWORST I EVERHAD. A big thick slab of dough that had a sweet cloying sauce and undercooked cheese. And they were chintzy with the sauce. The dough was covered with this annoying cornmeal. Whoever made this piece of shit clearly did not know what they were doing. And here’s the worst part: The middle was undercooked and one whole corner was incinerated, burnt beyond edible. That should have never been put out like that. I did call and complain and the owner said he will give me another pie, no questions asked. Honestly, I don’t want it, it was that bad. I should have checked it before leaving but they were telling me how good it is… THEYHAVENOWLOST A CUSTOMER, I will never return and I will tell those I know how bad this place was. I have had better pizza in Florida if you can believe it. Mona Lisa next door is a good pizza place and they have nothing to worry about. If the Square keeps turning out crap like I had tonight, they will not be around long. IN either case I will never return.
